Broken Luna, or not?

- Shut the f**k up Sang! Don’t you ever mention that again. – said Alli while entering the mansion.

- Alexandra Wilson, don’t you tell me to shut up. – screamed Sang after her friend. – you know it yourself that today you were too harsh with them. If you keep going like that none of them is going to stay in the casino.

- Sang, sweetheart, I wasn’t. In fact, I was too soft with them. Stupid newcomers, I have been training them for more than a month, and they still know nothing. Is it my fault that they haven’t learned their tables? They have only four tables, and you are telling me that they can’t learn them for an entire month?

- It’s not that I’m telling you. I only think that today you lost your nerves.

- Of course, that I lost my nerves. I’m sick at repeating the same thing every day. – said Alli while she poured herself a glass of whiskey, and settled on the couch.

- Okay, I’m not gonna say anything else. – angrily told her Sang and like her friend, she poured herself some alcohol.

Sang sat on the couch and looked at Alli’s angry face. Out of nowhere she started laughing like crazy. Alexandra knew her best friend was switching her moods quickly, but she was always surprised when it happened. Not being able to hold herself anymore, she started laughing as well. Samantha and Lukas were on their way to the kitchen when they witnessed the entire scene between the two friends.

- Luke, I don’t want to offend you, but I must ask you, does your mate has a bipolar disorder?

Even thou Sam asked him quietly, somehow the girls still heard her, or at least the last part of the question and they started laughing even harder. It was normal for them to fight in one moment and to hug each other in the another.

- Hey Sam. – greeted Sang.

- You okay? – asked Samantha

- Yeah, don’t worry that’s normal for us. – said Alli – We are just used to take our anger to each other after work.

- Will you join us for a drink? – asked Sang

- No, thank you. I have to go shower Dany and put him to sleep. I guess I will see you tomorrow.

- Yep, see you tomorrow Sam. – waved her Alli

Lukas took a seat next to his mate. He was happy that the girls finally got used to living with them. Samantha’s plan worked pretty well. He was still worried about the attacks, but for tonight, he decided not to think about them. Luke was about to say something when he got interrupted by Nathan. His beta entered the living room and headed directly to Sang. Without second thought, he settled himself next to the girl and took her into his arms.

- Hey, lovebirds, don’t make out in front of me. – told them Alli.

Even thou she wasn’t serious, Nate got uncomfortable. Sang on the other hand, knew her friend very well and just ignored her.

-Alright, I’m officially going to bed. – said Sang, stood up from the couch and left the room alongside with Nate.

Alexandra was alone with Lukas. Both with her friend have been living in the mansion for one week already, but she was still uncomfortable when she was alone with Luke. She made everything possible at work so her shifts can be changed into night shifts only, but unfortunately it wasn’t possible, and like today she was having couple morning shifts. Ever since the last time she had slept with Lukas, Alli was making everything possible to stay away from him. She knew she was a mess, and she no longer deserve or want someone to love. Alli drank the glass in one sip, and poured herself more. Her mate was observing her. He had no idea why she was acting like that, why she was avoiding him. Before he had noticed, Alli had already drank half the bottle. Finally, she asked him:

- Why are you always following me? – she asked between the hiccups. – You never leave me alone. … whenever I turn around, you are always there.

She was quite drunk when she looked him in the eyes. He could say that she had no idea why he was acting like that. She wasn’t realizing that he loved her, that she was everything for him.

- Alexandra, you are drunk! – said Luke. He was angry. How was it possible that she was unable to understand he loved her? – We will talk tomorrow if you still want. Now off to bed.

- No! Tell me now! Why?

- Don’t you know? – asked her Lukas – Haven’t you realized why?

- Hahaha, - coldly laughed Alli. – No one can love a broken person. – she stated. – Broken people don’t deserve love. … Love doesn’t even exist. – she said while remembering her past.

-You pathetic being. – Slap! – Haven’t I told you that you are not allowed to eat before we have left the house? – slap. – Now for punishment, you will not eat for the next three days. – Slap!

- You see … when you’ve had a life like mine, you sooner or later learn that love doesn’t exist. You learn to live by yourself, learn to accept that you are broken. – Alli said without even an emotion. – Still, I don’t know why, but I can’t stay away from you, no matter how hard I try. I can’t refuse you anything, that’s why I try to avoid you. – she told him before she fall asleep on his shoulder.

Lukas couldn’t believe what he heard. He was both happy and sad for his mate. He was angry that she thought so low of herself. Lukas picked Alli from the couch and walked to his bedroom. He had missed her. He missed sleeping next to her. Luke placed his mate carefully on the bed, and before he covered her, he took off her clothes. The alpha preferred her naked, so he can feel her soft skin. Lukas went on the other side of the bed and took his place. He got closer to Alli and wrapped her with his arms. In her sleep Alexandra got even closer to him. Feeling protected, she relaxed her body and fall even deeper into sleep.

Sang woke up with a bad headache and a terrible feeling. Something was about to go wrong today. She was sure of it. The girl looked around herself and saw the sleeping man right next to her. He had wrapped himself around her, and she knew, that she won’t be capable to leave the bed without waking him up. She placed her head carefully on the pillow. Sang was thinking about how fast she got used to share a room with Nate. It was unusual, but nice. Still she knew that sooner or later she will have to leave him. Not only because both with Alli will have to go back to Vegas, but also because she knew that this perfect relationship they have now, was impossible. Even thou she was feeling safe and secure around him, Sang knew that she can’t love him and she don’t deserve his love either. The girl just wanted to keep this feeling for a little bit more. To stay for couple of more weeks before they leave. The feeling of waking up fully rested, without being bothered from nightmares was amazing. … Nate started to wake up. As soon as he saw his mate looking at him, he smiled.

- Good morning beautiful. – he said

- Good morning to you too. – she told him – If you don’t mind, I really have to use the bathroom. – Sang said and smiled.

- Not at all, - started laughing Nate

- When I’m done, I will go downstairs and will prepare some coffee. – she informed him – Do you mind if you check Alli and tell me if she is awake. We have to get Dany, so that Sam can rest for a little bit more.

- No, I don’t mind. I will go see if they are awake right now.

- Thank you. – she told him from the bathroom, her mouth full of toothpaste.

Nate smiled before he left the room. He contacted his alpha through their mind-link and asked him if they are awake.

- I’m at the office and Alli is already downstairs. – said Luke

- She woke up pretty early. It’s not usual for her. – told him Nate

- Yeah, she had nightmares, again. I don’t know what happened. Just as they had disappeared, she had them again last night. She barely slept.

- I don’t know what to tell you Luke. I just hope that one day, she will recover from everything that has happened to her.

- Me too.

The men broke the mind-link and Nathan came back to his room just as Sang had finished dressing up. She was wearing black mini tank top with high waist white denim shorts. She was looking amazing, but it was too revealing for Nate’s taste. He knew that he shouldn’t say anything, yet he wasn’t happy about the way she was dressing herself. - Alli is downstairs, probably in the living room. – he told Sang

- Really? That’s unusual. – she said

- Luke told me that she had nightmares last night and …

Even before he could finish, Sang was out of the room, almost running. She was so pleased that she was finally capable to sleep normally that she had completely forgotten her friend.

- Hey, All, are you okay? – she asked her with a worried expression

- Yeah, why?

- I heard that you still have nightmares.

- Ooo, Sang, sweetheart, don’t worry about me. They are not as often as before.

Alexandra calmed her friend and kept cooking. With one hand she was holding Dany and with the other she was finishing the scrambled eggs. She took the pan out of the stove and placed the eggs in two plates.

- Come on, help me with the food. – she said to Sang.

- Where do you want it served?

- In the living room. We will use the bar counter. It’s more comfortable and I can use Dany’s chair too.

- Okay, what should I take? – asked Sang

- Take the eggs and the bacon, I will take the waffles, and after that we will return for the drinks and the muffins.

- Wow, you’ve made food for an entire army.

- No, I did not. Haven’t you seen how the men here eat? I swear they can eat an entire caw.

Sang started giggling and helped her friend with the food. Just as they put the last plate on the bar counter, Lukas and Nathan entered the living room.

- Damn it, it smells amazing, - said Nate

That was the first time the girls had cooked for them. And since the rest of the pack was forbidden of entering the house without the authorization of Lukas, the guys normally had breakfast late, when they were at the office of the pack house.

- When did you managed to make all of that? – asked Luke

- I haven’t made anything. All of this is Alli’s creation. – told them Sang

- You managed to do all of that while you were taking care of Dany? – asked Lukas

- Yeah, it wasn’t hard. I love cooking. And Dany was very nice to stay calm all the time. – Alli answered

- You are amazing. – said Lukas and kissed her on the forehead

Alli felt uncomfortable, especially after last night when she got drunk and told Lukas everything, she was worried about. Everything she thought of herself. They sat down and started eating their breakfast. Alexandra was feeding Dany and she barely ate anything.

- Sweetheart, let me finish feeding Dany. You ate almost nothing. – told her Sang

- No, thank you. I don’t wanna eat anymore. My stomach is upset this morning. I kind of drank a little bit more than usual last night.

- Okay, - said Sang with a doubt. A, by the way, do you have plans for later?

- No, why? – asked Alli

- Samantha asked me yesterday if we are free to go shopping with her. She needs new clothes for Dany and some diapers.

- Okay, jest tell me when. Where we will go?

- At the Mall of course. I’m planning to buy something too. – said Sang with a pleased face.

- Mhhhh, if you are buying new clothes, I suppose I will buy too. – she smiled – After all I can’t let you have fun without me.

The girls started laughing when Dany reminded them of himself with an angry scream. All of them looked into him and busted out laughing even harder.

- All right, all right, I haven’t forgot you. Here, - said Alli and gave him another spoon of his food.

Dany smiled and showed his two teeth. Alli couldn’t stop smiling at the little boy. Somehow, she already loved him. She was ready to do everything to protect him.

It was about 11 o’clock when Sam was finally ready. They took the car keys, and as they were about to leave, Lukas stopped them.

- Where do you three think you are going? – he asked them half angry, half cheerful.

- To the Mall. – said Alli

- And why haven’t you taken any security with you? – he raised his eyebrow with question

- Why do we need it? – Alli asked in return

- It doesn’t matter whether you need it or not princess. For your own safety you will take security with you.

- But, - said Alli when she was interrupted by Sam

- Okay, no fighting over that. We will take two men with us. All right?

Quickly Lukas turned around and called Tom and Benji to come to him.

- You two are going with the girls to the Mall. I want them protected. Understood?

- Yes, al… yes Mr. Moore. – they corrected themselves.

Tom took the car keys from Sang and started the engine. Benjamin helped Sam with Dany and took the front seat next to Tom. After no more than 30 minutes, the five of them were in front of the mall. Tom parked the car in the underground parking lot and led the girls to the second floor where the kids' clothes were situated. They were shopping for more than an hour when Sang offered to split so that both with Alli can buy something too.

- Sam do you mind if we split for a while, so that we can buy some clothes too? – asked Sang

- No, not at all. When will we meet? And where?

- Let’s meet after one hour at the center of the kids’ floor. Is that okay? – asked Alli

- Perfect. That way I will have time to buy all other necessities for Dany. – said Sam

Tom went with Alli and Sang and Benji stayed with Samantha. They were just in front of the elevator when the three of them heard Sam screaming for help. Alli was faster than the others and she made it first to Samantha. There was a man holding her, trying to take Dany from her hands. Benjamin was laying on the ground in unconsciousness. Without giving a second thought, she stormed to the attacker and pushed him away from her friend. Dany was crying loudly.

- Get them out of here! - She ordered Tom

- But, … - Tom was hesitating

- No but. I told you get them out of here right now! – she was already screaming

Even thou she had no idea of that she was a Luna, the heaviness of her orders didn’t give a choice to Tom. He grabbed Samantha and started running. Sang was standing right next to her friend, ready to fight if it was necessary. The man was standing in front of them, not knowing what to do, when they heard someone giving him orders from behind.

- Take care of them, they are just mare humans. – said the voice

As he was about to attack, the man staying at the back of the attacker, showed himself. Those fearful eyes, the eyes they remembered. The eyes that were always coming in their nightmares were right in front of them. He wasn’t changed at all, he looked the same. Even after ten years, he was the same.

- No! That’s not possible. You are dead. – screamed Alli

- Ooo, my dear kids. The f*****g bitches that almost killed me. How nice it is to see you again. … don’t kill them. I will take them with me. – said The Man.

- Like hell we will come with you. – told him Sang

She was trembling, but not with fear, not anymore. She was angry, just the same as Alli. The girls had no idea how he was alive, but they knew that this time they will take care of him for good. Sang was the first to attack, she was a distraction, so that Alli can target the Boss. With a quick move the attacker escaped her, but she predicted that. With a quick turn she kicked him in the face. … Alli was making her move with the man from her nightmares. But no matter how she was attacking him, somehow, he was always escaping her. The both girls were fighting and giving everything from themselves, but it wasn’t enough. As they were to be captured, Lukas and Nathan came to their aid. As soon as Boss saw them, he retreated, leaving his employee to the enemy. Without thinking Lukas kicked the attacker and he passed out.

- Are you okay? – he asked Alli

The fear was visible in his eyes. Alexandra was touched. She couldn’t say anything. She just nodded. Lukas hugged her afraid that he will lose her. … Sang was in Nate’s arms still trembling, but this time out of fear. She was afraid that if they hadn’t shown, he would have captured them, and only god knows what he would have done to them.
