She was running. The woods were so thick, that she lost her way. But she wasn’t alone, her friend was with her. Holding Sang’s hand, Alexandra was trying to make her way out of the forest. They were already tired. The girls have been running almost for the entire night. But they couldn’t stop, not even to catch their breath. He was after them. … This was the second time they tried to escape his hands. … The first time was a failure and the punishment was severe. They couldn’t allow being caught again. Alexandra heard his steps. He was coming closer. Soon he was going to find them. She grabbed Sang’s hand harder, and started running faster. The girl had no idea where she was heading. She was praying, praying that this time they will manage to escape. … Alli saw a waterfall. This was their chance. She told her friend to jump. On the next moment the two girls were at the water, swimming to the direction of the waterfall. There was a cave behind it. They hid there waiting. Waiting for him to pass, to give up. The time was moving, but the girls were afraid to get out of their hideout. This place was the only thing protecting them from him. … As the night ended, the girls finally decided to get out of the cave. Alli slowly entered the freezing water, trying not to make much noise, in case someone was there. Once she checked the surroundings, she gave Sang sign to come and join her. Once out, they started running again. The cold air was making them freeze. They were still wet, and that didn’t really help them. Alexandra heard a noise, … the sound of cars, … it was like a melody for her ears. Without hesitation, holding her friend’s hand, she headed in the direction of the road. It didn’t take them long, before they reached the desired destination. … They were finally free. The girls jumped on the road with the hope that at least one car will stop. And luckily for them, a nice couple pulled their car, right next to the two little girls. … Just as they were to enter the car, a furious voice came out of the woods. He had saw them. He knew that they will escape his hands. The man chasing them headed to the car with the intention to take the girls back. But the fear in their eyes made the young couple determined to help them. Without wasting time, the woman helped the two little girls get in the car faster, and they left just before the furious man had reached them.

When they were finally safe, Alexandra and Sang allowed their tears to start falling. The nightmare was over. This time, the made it. They finally managed to escape.

Boss wonted them back. After they escaped him ten years ago, he made everything on his power to find them, but it was useless. Sang was helping Helen prepare the dinner, while Samantha was nursing Dany. Lukas and Nathan were still at the office, neither of them with the intention of coming back soon.

-          Till when do you think the guys will stay there? – asked Sang

-          Until the moment I lose my nerves. – told her Helen – But don’t worry, I have a way to bring them back pretty quickly. – she ensured the girl

-          What way? – questioned her Sang

-          You will see. – said Elli

-          Hey, Alli, you came. – said Sam, - Feeling better? – she asked he

-          Yeah, thanks to Helen. – quietly she said – Look, Sam, I’m sorry that I lost my nerves. – Alli apologized

-          You really don’t have to apologize to me. I’m not the one who’s hurt. – she told her

-          I know, but I still have to apologize to you too. – Alli said, - I wasn’t right to snap at you too. After all you had no fault.

-          Alli, I’m not mad at you, but you can’t just act like that with Lukas. He is an alpha, and he is your mate. – scolded her Sam

-          Samantha, I get it, but you can’t just expect me to act like nothing has ever happened. First, he lied to me, second, he imprisoned me here. The tension between the two girls was increasing. In order to save the day, Sang started bringing the food that was ready.

Alli was the first one that broke the eye contact with Samantha. Without saying anything, she headed to the kitchen to give a hand to her friend.

The moment Alexandra entered the room, the smell hit her. Her stomach started invisible fight with her. She couldn’t say anything. The girl just ran out of the kitchen, in the direction of the bathroom. She wasted no time. The moment she entered the bathroom, she fell on her knees and threw up everything she had in her stomach.

Strange, Alexandra thought. This was the first time she reacted like that after smelling food. She acted like some pregnant girl. But it was impossible. May be, it was from all the things that has happened recently. After all, she couldn’t be pregnant. She lost that right long time ago.

-          Flashback -

-          Murat, I want it. – Alli begged him – I don’t want to have the ability to reproduce. … please Murat, that’s the only thing I want. – she kept begging him

Alexandra had spent already an hour begging Murat for the surgery.

-          Alli, sweetheart, one day you might regret this. – he told her

-          I won’t. – she said confidently

Murat was having his doubts, but seeing the girl’s eyes, he knew she won’t give up from her idea.

-          Okay Alli, I will allow the surgery. But only in one condition. – he told her

-          What condition? – the little girl asked

-          I’m gonna be the one to find the doctor, and I will decide the date. – he said

-          It doesn’t matter for me who’s gonna be the doctor. But Murat, please, hurry up. I can’t stay like this. I don’t want to be able to give birth. I can’t even imagine that if I have child, something like what happened to me, might happen to him or her too. – said the little girl

She was too afraid, thought Murat. He sighed heavily. Now he had to find a doctor. Someone who can make a surgery for infertility to a twelve-year-old girl.

Alexandra cleaned herself and looked at the mirror. Her reflection was terrible. Her hair was a complete mess, eyes swollen from crying, even her skin was paler than before. She was stunned. She looked like different person. Alli cleaned her face and left the bathroom. She went straight to the living room where all the girls were gathered.

-          Are you okay sweetheart? – asked her Sang, standing from her place.

-          Yeah, I’m better. – Alli said

-          Alex, can I call you Alex? – said Helen and without giving her the opportunity to answer, she continued – What happened? Are you feeling better?

-          Yes, Elli, you can call me Alex. And I’m fine, I just have problems with my stomach.

-          Alex, I know this isn’t the exact time you will want to hear this, but is it possible that you are pregnant? – asked Samantha

Alli’s eyes widened. Even thou she knew that she wasn’t capable of getting pregnant, she was still shocked at Sam’s question.

-          No, Sam, there is no possibility. – she answered her

-          How can you be sure? – asked Helen

-          She knows, because both of us, can’t have kids. – said Sang

Samantha and Helen were stunned.

-          What do you mean with this? – asked Sam with shock in her voice

-          I mean, that almost nine years ago, we made sure that we will never be able to get pregnant. – said Sang

-          We went trough a surgery. – added Alli

-          You did what? – screamed Helen. She couldn’t believe what she just heard.

-          Alli, Sang, … - started Samantha, but she was incapable of finding the right words.

-          Does my brother know? – asked them Helen

-          No! – answered Alexandra, - But I can assure you that I will tell him. – the girl said

-          Let’s not talk about that. – said Sang, - It’s not a comfortable subject for neither of us.

The silence took over the place. None of the girls had the courage to say something. They had fallen deep into their thoughts. Each one of them thinking of what was just said. Infertility, … the mates of the strongest alpha and his beta were infertile. And what was worse, it wasn’t by birth or because of a mistake, or even accident, but they purposely did it to themselves.
