Jess and Jake were finally rescued.
They were first taken to the hospital where the doctors were waiting in a safe and warm room. Then the doctors asked them about their conditions. But they're surprised when both of them spoke at the same time.
Jess: “He’s injured. Quickly give him a full check up.”
Jake: “His foot hurts a lot.”
The doctor is speechless.
Jess and Jake were both taken aback, then they spoke at the same time again, “I’m fine. Give him a check first.”
Jess suddenly turned and look at Jake chiding him, “Don’t treat it as nothing just because you can still move. What if you have internal injuries? You should check the places you’re hurting.”
But Jake just shook his head, and assured him, “I’m really okay. It’s your foot that should be checked immediately.”
