Jess hissed in pain. "Don't... don't move it. That hurts..."
Jake didn't dare to touch Jess ankle anymore. But he still asked, "Are you hurting anywhere else?"
Jess shook his head. "We're lucky that the snow here is thicker. I think I only sprained my foot. Hopefully, it's only a sprain. What about you? Did you get hurt?"
When they fell down together just now, Jake acted as the cushion.
Jake opened his arms, and jokingly said. "I've thick skin."
Still worried, Jess insisted, "After we go back, do a thorough check up to see if there's any internal injury. Let's call for help." He took out his phone then sighed. "There's no signal at all. What about your phone?"
