So apparently, practically beating the crap out of a fellow classmate earned Brad in-school suspension. Melanie knew this thanks to the fact that Amy and Josiah nearly pounced on her as she entered the school building.
“What happened? Brad hasn’t beaten up anyone since middle-school,” Josiah stated after he'd informed her of Brad's punishment.
Jerrel was apparently staying home today since quite a few human students had seen him get beat pretty badly. It would raise questions once people saw him completely healed the very next day. But he also had in-school suspension for being part of the fight. Melanie had to wonder what strings Brad's brothers had had to pull to keep him from being suspended or worse, expelled.
