“-and he’s from our own pack!” Josie exclaimed angrily as she pushed the trolley more forcefully than she’d meant too. It ended up colliding against a crate of roses. Josie just barely managed to put a hand out and save a pot of roses from crashing to the floor. She turned to look at Brad as if blaming him for the near-miss.  Brad rolled his eyes as he walked through the nursery with his mother, the smell of flowers grating on his nerves. His eyes even hurt from all the colors around him. He was in  a dark mood and surrounded by vibrant colors that only served to further infuriate him. This was not one of those times where he wanted to 'stop and smell the flowers'.
