Mate. Mate. Mate. Ash repeatedly said inside my head. I walked closer to her and I wanted to cry seeing her conditions. I was so angry with them. But I didn't think of them that time, I had a mate who was on the verge of death. Cato let go of her and let me come closer. She was already weak when I hugged her. "I have to mark you to survive. I'm sorry I have to do it without your permission. I do not want to lose you." I wanted to cry and tears forming in the corner of my eyes making my sight blurry. I searched for a perfect spot for my mark, and it was in her collarbone. I let my fangs out and bit her. I heard her release a small moan as she opened her eyes and looked at me. After, I felt the bond was created so I slowly let go of her skin. I looked at her face and saw her smiled at me. "Let's go." That was the only word I heard from her. The next thing I saw was that we were not in the cell room anymore. We were in my old room, in our old house in this pack. The place was clean and well maintained but I knew, no one cleaned the place for years because no one wants to stay at our house than me.  I heard the door locked and I felt there was a shield surrounded the room. I let it be and just stared at her face, her eyes, and her lips. She smiled at me and she placed her hands in the back of my head, making me leaned closer to her and she met me halfway. I felt her soft lips on my own. I felt so contented; I didn't want to end this. I closed my eyes to feel the electricity I was feeling, running in my body. It gave me goosebumps but it felt so good. Then, I realized that she moved her lips and I was already kissing her back with the same intensity she was giving me. The kiss was so gentle and passionate. I liked it, and I was beginning to love the person who gave me the feeling. Same time outside: They couldn't believe what Cassandra just said, especially her family. They were still shocked but they were also happy for Cassandra. They thought that it was Cris that made her uneasy and nervous. But because of the things that happened, they all understand why. Cato hugged her two mates and son as he repeatedly said his thank you. The children looked at each other asking what happened but no one answered them. They all just stared and witnessed what Cassandra's doing. But what they did not expect was that Cassandra will vanish with a stranger without saying anything. "Where did they go? You can't just take her away from us without our permission." Cris angrily said to them.  "Can you please calm down for a minute? They are not far from here." Drew said with her annoyed expression. "And one more thing, they can't go farther because of the woman's condition. They will just look for a place to mate." Drea explained too. But still, Cris not satisfied with their answer. He turned to his people and told them, "Look for them. Never let them escape." He said in his dominating voice to every pack member there was in the room. While Dael pulled his mom's dress when she placed him down, he was saying something. Since his dad still couldn't speak of so much emotion, he chose to tell her mom what he knew. His mom looked at him. "I know where they are mom." Cris heard it. He forcefully pulled the kid to face him and he asked him. But the kid got afraid of the way he being pulled that made him shut his mouth. When the kid didn’t speak, he shook the kid, forcing him to say everything. But the child got hurt and became afraid and mad at him, then Cato felt the emotion of his child. "Let go of my son. You don't have the right to hurt my son!" He shouted to Alpha Cris and looked at his son. "Son, Dada is here, don't worry; no one going to hurt you. Are you still hurt?" He comfortably assured and asked his son full of concern. Dael shook his small head saying no and just hugged his father. He heard Cris say sorry but they never mind it. Cato started to walk out of the cell room. His two mates along with Drew and Sofia whose carrying sweet Sandra followed him. They didn't know where Cato's going but they trust his instinct, so they didn't ask a thing. "Don't even try to disturb them. We will guard them; we’ll just schedule our time. Even they are safe inside of the shield, I still prefer to guard them up. This is not our territory, so it's nice to be safe." Cato said and they just nodded their head for agreement. They continued walking until they stopped on one of the small pack houses. Cris got curious so he followed them the same as the other pack members. They followed them to the back of the big pack house until they stopped. Many small houses were built for those who didn't want to live with other pack members inside the big house or just needed privacy. Cris recognized the house in front of them. It was the old house where Jessica, who is now Cassandra, used to live in. They didn't knock because no one living there and just went in. Cato shook his head with a smile on his face and made a tsk sound. "You already here for so long but no one found you?" His smile got bigger as he comfortably entered the house and being cozy, "you are still a hell of a woman Fara. You're good at hiding your scent." He complimented the violet eye girl and he sat down on one of the sofas, he knew no one hears what he said because he said it all inside his mind.  Cris was curious when he saw the place. It was clear that even single dust was nowhere to be found. It was clean even no one stayed in the house for a very long time. Curiosity was already eating them all. "Sofia, tell the driver that the plan changed. Ask him to get our things and bring it all here. I think we can stay here for a while, the house is big enough for us." Cato said and looked at Alpha Cris. "Is it fine with you, Alpha Cris?" He asked. "Yeah, sure. Since Jessica left, no one uses this house anymore. Her parents chose to live with us in the big pack house when they came back." He nodded and said those words while Sofia got out of the house and followed Cato's order to her. "Can we know all of your names? I didn't have a chance to ask it a while ago. We only know is Jessica." He asked them seriously. In a minute, Sofia came back too. Cato just smirked. "I'm Cato McRight, Elementalist. I can control the air." Cris and his pack were surprised by the information. Cris couldn’t believe that he will hear those words and saw him in person. He just heard rumors about it but he didn't believe it, until now. The next person who spoke was Drea. "Andrea McRight. You know what I am base on my scent. I'm one of Cato's mates. The other side of Cato holding our son is our other mate." She pointed Vince with her lip that's humming a song lulling Dael to fall asleep. "That's Vince and our son, Dael." Then she smirked when she saw the amazements that were written on Dark Moon Pack members' faces. Creatures like them, it was unusual for them to have two mates especially if they were not a twin. But they did not know, it was just an ordinary mating in Cato's case, it was normal to their kind. One more unusual thing was about Dael, him being a hybrid. In every born hybrid, there was a very small chance for it to survive. Almost all hybrid being conceived die. Some were still fetuses, some were newborns and some were still kids, and if they survive but with the price of their mother's life. Two blood fighting for dominance that couldn't take by the fragile body of a child leads to death.  They all looked at Drew. "Andrew Garcia. I should be an Alpha too, but there's one word, HUNTER.” He emphasized the last word making his point. “You already know what happens." He just shrugged his shoulder like it's nothing and put his arm on his wife's shoulder, Sofia. “This is my wife, Sofia, she's a vampire. Also our daughter, Alessandra, also a hybrid." He just smiled because he knew how lucky he is to have them both. Whispers and mouth ajar were their reaction to the information they heard. They never thought that these two kids were hybrids. "And... what makes Jessica to your team? You're all strong, but not that ugly face. I'm sure, she begged your superior for her to join the team." Luis said with his mocking tone. The adult didn't react, but the kids didn't like it. They did not want to see their Aunt Cassy cry. They jumped out from their parent's grasp; even the sleeping Dael. Sandra hissed while Dael made a fireball in his hand, even if they were still two years old, they knew how to fight. Sometimes, they played with Aunt Cassy when she was on her training; so it looked like they were on training too. The parents only smirked at them when they saw the scary look of the people in the room. The children knew the story of Cassandra. They understood it perfectly. "Children, stop that," Cato said that received a growl from both kids, they were protesting what Cato said. "But your aunt will not like it. You knew her rules to the both of you?" Cato grinned. "Don't use your strength to anyone to fight, but use it to protect." They said in harmony as they walked back to their parents. They just smiled proudly at their children. "By the way, she's not Jessica anymore. She's Cassandra Knight--our captain." After saying that, they waited for their reaction. Just like what they wanted to see, they were confused and whispers filled the whole room. "And they are just upstairs, maybe making babies." "No, they can't do that." Cris reacted first that surprised them.  "And why not?" Vince voiced out with a smirk on his face.  "Because..." He looked for a possible excuse. Because he knew, until now he still likes Jessica/Cassandra, that he waited for her to come back. "Because she's a hunter. It's forbidden." "Oh," and Cato paused, "you're right if she is a hunter. But she's not. Because..." and paused again, "she's my sister." There goes another shocking information from Cato. "I thought all your siblings are all male?" Drea said with pouted lips. "Yeah, we are all boys. She's also one of the boys, with boobs." He said with a smirk on his face and kissed Drea's forehead. "It's Fara, the youngest of your siblings, right?." Vince said and Cato answered him with a thumbs-up. Cris believed what they said because there was no reason for them to lie. So, his mind linked his pack members to go back home. Later on, when they stopped talking, they heard moaning from upstairs. Cato just smirked because all not mated wolf became aroused. Even Cris that was already mated.  "It's time to go out now," Drea said pushing everyone out of the house. “Finally, I'm having a nephew, soon,” Cato said inside his head.
