Matasi confirmed that the number had not been registered to anyone and so he could no attach a name to it and even though he could trace it the guy was on the move then got to a place where there was no signal.

Eddy looked at venessa then hanged up and grabbed her forcefully taking her out.

Venessa asked Eddy where he was taking her but he did not respond. He had her seat on the front seat of the car then drove off.

Venessa pleaded with Eddy asking him not to hurt her but Eddy was not convinced that that venessa did not know where Robert was.

Venessa: where are you taking me?

Eddy: a place where babe will have to pass through me before he gets you back, that's if he at all gets you back...

Venessa: please don't kill me.

Eddy did not respond to her but kept driving recklessly like he always did..

Matasi had identified Dru as the person Eddy was looking for but he could not tell him that because as much as they had disagreed a little bit, Dru was his friend and he couldn't afford to sell him out knowing so well Eddy would kill him. After everything he had heard about Eddy, he knew who he was dealing with and even though he had not crossed him, he was already very afraid of him.

Matasi called Dru who did not pick the call immediately but after he saw matasi's text asking to call him back ASAP he did.

Dru: what's going on?

Matasi: what did you do this time?

Dru: i don't have the whole night dude.

Matasi: Eddy sent me a number to ID and trace and the number happens to be yours.

Dru: s**t! What did you tell him?

Matasi: that I can't ID you because the number is not registered and I can't trace you either. What the hell did you do?

Dru was silent for a while then hanged up and called venessa's phone immediately but instead of venessa, Eddy picked it.

Eddy: I've got your girlfriend and if you want her back you will come find me.

When Dru learned that Eddy had venessa he hanged up without speaking to him then hit the steering wheel shouting in anger several times.

Dru: damn you venessa can't you just stay out of trouble for once?...

Eva came storming into my place and from the look of things she was so nervous. She she sat on the couch then when I walked to the living room she stood up again and paced. Her behavior got me nervous as I had never seen her that worried before.

Me: okay, you are acting really weird right now, what's going on?

Eva: venessa is in trouble.

Me: what kind of trouble, I thought she was on vacation with her big bellied guy.

Eva: she lied. Venessa came storming into my house today and she said some guys were after her.

Me: who I don't know, before she could tell me who some guy walked in and took her with him.

Me: did you get a name?

Eva: she mentioned the name Dru. She kept insisting that the man would kill her but when he showed up, she was calm. The guy was scary.

Me: you could have screamed or did something.

Eva: he warned me Rayna, he said if I told anyone anything he would find me and kill me.

Me: have you seen the guy before?

Eva: no. I have never seen or heard of him before.

She sat but she couldn't stop shaking. I sat beside her and held her hand.

Me: i know someone who can help.

Dru knowing his cover could be blown anytime and he did not have much time to go to the hide out and look for information about Johansen, he decided to go that night before things got out of hands.

He parked his car at the entrance and walked towards the area where Johansen was being held hostage. There was a guard who normally helped him communicate with Johansen but this time he was not there. He saw some other two who were pretty loyal to Eddy.

He stood along the corridors thinking for a while then took his phone and pretended to be on call as he approached the guards who stood on his way and he stopped.

Dru: let me call you back.

Guard: no one is allowed beyond this area, where are you going.

Dru: don't speak to me as if you don't know who I am. Eddy had asked me to come and collect some information from the guy you are holding in there. For your information, he has our bosses whereabouts.

Guard: we didn't have a problem with that but let me call Eddy and confirm.

The guard took his phone to call Eddy and if Dru didn't act fast, he would not walk out of there alive.

Dru: here, use my phone.

The guard stretched his hand to pick the phone but Dru grabbed it pulling him to him and gave him a header before chucking the gun from his waist and shooting the other guard twice..

He then pointed his gun at the other guard who was still lying on the floor.

Dru: i need access to where the guy is.

Guard: you will have to kill me for that information.

Before Dru could do anything he heard a car drive into the compound.

After what Eva told me, I called Eddy asking where he was and he told me he had dropped by his office to have something done before he headed to his place.

Eddy: why are you asking you miss me already?

Me: no. But I have some info i need you to look into.

Eddy: talk to me.

Me: my friend venessa is in trouble.

Eddy: what kind of trouble?

Looking at venessa briefly.

Me: someone is after her, she told Eva she was on trouble earlier today and then a guy picked her up at Eva's place but Eva is worried he could harm her.

Eddy: does the guy have a name?

Me: she mention Dru. She said Dru would kill her if he found her.

Eddy: wait, so who picked her up?

Me: Eva thinks it's Dru because he warned her and made it clear that if she told anyone about what had happened he would kill her.

Eddy: where is Eva now?

Me: at my place.

Eddy: okay, I'm coming there in a short while.

Eddy ended the call and turned to venessa then grabbed her hair and pulled her head back.

Eddy: who is Dru to you, and don't even lie to me because I've got all the information.

Venessa: he is my boyfriend.

Eddy: how long have you been together?

Venessa: three months..

Get out of the car.

He let go of her hair and got out too. He grabbed her arm and walked towards the direction where Johansen was being held, the place place where Dru was.

Dru heard Eddy talking to venessa's as they walked that direction so he shot the other guard dead and tried to find his way out but there was only one entrance which also searved as the exit. He could not escape.

Eddy heard gunshots so he held venessa with one hand as he reached for his gun and walked looking out for the shooter.

Dru saw Eddy first and shot at him but it missed then he pushed venessa to a corner and hid as dru didn't stop raining bullets that were being shot aimlessly..

Eddy: come out Dru, I've got your girl

Dru: yeah, I'd be stupid to do that. I don't care about the girl man, you can keep her.

Eddy: so you are the mole Dru?

He shouted from where he was still trying to get a clear view before he shot at him.

Dru: i thought you were smart man, it took you long to find the mole.

Eddy: it was just a matter of time. You kidnapped our boss, for what?

Dru: that's none of your business,

Eddy moved to a different angle and shot at Dru but none of the bullets hit him.

Dru: you have always wanted to call the shots for a long time, didn't i just do you a favor by taking the boss out of sight?

Eddy: you let him go then maybe we can talk about what this is about.

Venessa took advantage of what was going on between Dru and Eddy and she ran off and end even though Eddy saw her, he did not do anything to her because after all, he had found the one person they had been looking for.

Dru: you let Johansen go first, then maybe I will not have Robert killed.

Eddy peeped from his spot and when he saw Dru he shot at him again and Dru shot back as he made his way towards the exit. Eddy didn't have anymore bullets left so Dru shot at him several times but he dodged the bullets as he found his way out of that place.

On his way out, Eddy took a gun from the other guard who was lying in a pool of blood and went after Dru but Dru was already out of the gate. He shot at the car as it moved and the bullets shattered the windows but it did not stop..

Eddy checked around to see if venessa was still around but she was not. He got into his car and drove off.

While in the car he called Leo confirming to him who the mole had been all along.

Leo: what the hell, Dru?

Eddy: the son of a b***h has been playing us all along. He killed two guards and took off. I didn't manage to kill him.

Leo: damn! You mean Dru....

Eddy: unbelievable but true. That means we have to beef up security around this place. Looks like he wanted to break Johansen out but now that his cover is blown he will come with much greater force. He is working for Johansen.

Leo: fine, i will have guys look into it first thing tomorrow...

Venessa had called Eva through the cab guy's phone to ask her where she was and Eva told her she was at my place. Venessa told us she was on her way to where we were and asked us not to tell anyone where she was. A few minutes later she knocked and Eva opened.

She hugged her and let her in and when she saw me she hugged me too.

Venessa was panting, something that made us believe someone was still after her.

Me: have a seat Vanessa, what's going on?

Venessa: i swear, I will never date more than one men again.

Eva: what happened?

Venessa: Dru dropped me and shortly after Eddy kicked the door open and grabbed me then took me with him.

Me: which Eddy?

Venessa: Eddy Anwar, Roberts right hand man.

Me: wait, you were with Eddy when i called, and what did he want with you?

Venessa: yes I was with Eddy when you called. There is something I have never told you guys but you need to know.

Eva and I both sat there staring at her.

Venessa: i wasn't dating Robert because I loved him but because we had a different agenda.

Eva: we?

Venessa: Dru and I.

Me: and who the hell is Dru anyway?

Venessa: my boyfriend. He came to me three months ago with a proposal.

He wanted us to kidnapped his boss, milk him dry of all his money then get rid of him so that Dru and i could get married.

Eva: Vanessa!

Me: no.. let her finish..

Venessa: on the night of my birthday I was in communication with Dru and the deal was to drag Robert and take him to someplace where he would be waiting. We stayed there for a few days with Dru out of sight then when some guys came they took him away.

Me: was it Dru?

Venessa: no. Some other guys and I have no idea who they are.

Eva: venessa what did you do?

Venessa: I'm so scared right now.

Me: you said you were taken by Eddy, how are you even here?

Venessa: Eddy and Dru bumped into each other at some place Eddy was taking me, they have probably killed each other by now.

They both looked at her quite shocked.

Dru went to Eva's place to find her but she was not there. He had warned her about talking but she didn't listen. He did not even know that Eddy had no idea about him being the mole when he asked Matasi to look into him, instead he thought Eva had opened her mouth which she actually did even after the warning.

Dru: I will find you b***h,

He got back in his car and drove off.

Eddy knocked and I opened and he walked in hurriedly just to find venessa seated on the couch as Eva and I had been cooking.

Me: you didn't kill each other?

He looked at me then at Vanessa.

Me: she filled us in.

Eddy: he got away and you guys are not safe here. Dru will come after you now that i know who he really is.

Anderson had driven Naomi home late. It was around 11:00pm by then and even though Niki was in her room she had not slept yet. She heard the car pull over and her room had the view of the parking lot and the gate so she switched off the lights and peeped through the window and watched her mother talk to Anderson for a while before they started kissing inside her car. She was surprised and covered her mouth in shock...

"Anderson and mum?" She asked letting go of the curtain and sitting on her bed...

"No it can't be" she said getting up again and peeping again and she was now sure it was him since they had both gotten out of the car and she watched them sneak into the house after kissing some more..

She tiptoed to the door, heard them climb up the stairs and she quickly got in her bed and pretended to be asleep as she knew Naomi's next step was to go to her room and check on her before she got to sleep. Naomi showed Anderson to her room as she made her way to Niki's room.

She walked up to her, covered her with her blanket and walked out shutting the door behind her and walking into her room.

Anderson was seated on the bed and when Naomi got in, she locked the door and undressed then walked up to Anderson.

Anderson: i don't think this is a good idea.

Naomi: shhhhh!

She put her finger on Anderson's mouth and started unbuttoning his shirt as she kissed him..

Sean called me at around 11:30pm and when I looked at Eddy he was catching up with Eva as they were eating. Venessa was already asleep on the couch so i excused myself to pick Sean's call.

Me: hey Sean?

Sean: hey beautiful, did i wake you up?

Me: not at all. I'm still very much awake. Are you okay?

Sean: yes, I miss that beautiful smile so I thought I should call and check on you before I slept.

Me: that's very thoughtful of you. Thank you.

Sean: can we have breakfast tomorrow morning, just you and I?

Me: uuummh! Tomorrow is a bit hectic as I have a few things to do very early in the morning.

Sean: ooh okay, then maybe we can do lunch?

Me: yes, lunch will be good.

Sean: okay. You sleep well beautiful, talk to you tomorrow.

Me: okay. Goodnight.

I ended the call and smiled to myself just to turn and find Eddy leaning by the door staring at me.

Eddy: sorry for interrupting, i just came to let you know I was leaving.

Me: you can crush here if you want.

Eddy: no thanks. I will go to my place. There are a few things I need to put in order for tomorrow.

Me: okay, thanks for being here and thanks for not killing my friend.

Eddy: is that the impression you have of me, a murderer?

Me: no, i didn't mean it like that...

Eddy: I will take my leave. Be careful and incase of anything give me a call.

I felt like Eddy had been hurt by what I said so before he walked out, I quickly walked to him and hugged him and told him I was sorry but he didn't say much. He walked out, said goodbye to Eva and asked her to lock the doors.

Eva: what did you do to him?

Me: i insinuated that he is a killer.

Eva: really now, you are really screwing up chances with Eddy Anwar. Someone should give him to me for just one day.

Eva locked the door as I got a blanket and threw it over venessa who was fast asleep then Eva and I went to sleep in my room.

We talked for a while then eventually slept but not so long into our sleep when we heard screams from the living room. Eva and i quickly jumped out of bed.Eva was so shaken that she dived under the bed as I was left slowly making my way towards the living room......
