SAVAGE AFFAIRS EPISODE SIX

When Matasi left, Dru followed him along the corridors and pulled him in the washrooms that were just along the same corridor then closed the door after checking around and making sure no one saw him..

Matasi: what are you doing man?

Dru: we have less than 5 minutes so tell me what happened back there.

Matasi: it doesn't work like that man, Mike warned me about associating with you here because it would give Eddy the wrong idea and it wouldn't end well for me. I need the money.

Dru: I don't give s**t about Eddy. I got you a job and i expect my cut. Besides that I need to know what you told them, I need all the info.

Matasi: you will get your cut but I'm not playing that game man. I need my life intact.

Dru grabbed his neck and pushed him to wall squeezing his throat abit harder. Matasi slapped his hands to let him know that he was choking. Dru let go and Matasi started to cough.

Dru: you do one task for him and you feel like you've made it?

Matasi: I don't know how you guys roll here but I don't want to die. I give you the information and Eddy finds out I will be dead!

Dru: you don't get to pick who you take orders from. When I say blink you do so without asking questions. Its not Eddy you should be scared of but me so I will ask again. What did you tell them?

Matasi told him everything he had told Eddy and Leo and after that he walked out of washrooms and headed for his car..

As Eddy and leo got to the main road they realized one tire was getting flat and so they had to find a petrol station and get the tire fixed before they proceeded..

Eddy: when did this even happen?

Leo: maybe you drove over a nail or something.

Eddy: I don't even think we will get to the petrol station.

Leo: you have a spare, we can fix it real fast. We still have some time.

Eddy pulled over by the side of the road and they both got out.

Leo got the tools as Eddy followed him with the extra tire..

Leo: are you going under the car?

Eddy: in my suit, hell no..

Venessa had stepped out to go look for some painkillers for Robert as she shopped for a few things and she took quite sometime to get all the things she needed to prepare Dru his favorite meal hoping he would stay that evening.

She was driving back to the house but before she reached the gate she saw two people with black hoodies and ski mask on their faces both hanging Robert's arms on their shoulders and helping him to the car. She wanted to get down and run towards the house but she could not for the fear of her life...

"No no no venessa, this is not happening" she told herself as she tried to reach for her phone but she realized she had left it in the house when she left in a hurry.

Venessa: Damn you Robert, how did they even find you?

She bent her head down when the guys drove past her and she tried catching a glimpse of who they were but she couldn't see their faces.

Venessa drove to the house got off the car and rushed inside to find her phone but it had been shot and the screen shattered. The room in which Robert was had been kicked in and since venessa didn't know what to do she hurriedly picked her few clothes, got back in her car and drove off..

At exactly 2:00pm I got to the restaurant and since I was the first one to get there, I ordered for a drink as i waited for sean to show up. He had texted and told me he was going to be around ten minutes late. That was not alot of time so I could actually wait. I had mixed feelings about meeting Sean first I was nervous because I didn't know what the meeting was about and second I didn't know if I could handle staring at him across the table before making a fool out of myself. The guy was so damn hot, Eddy kind of hot only that he was a little more charming and gentle than Eddy was.. Eddy was a bad boy and bad boys are generally rough and rude but this one, took me time to get off my mind after the embarrassing fall..

A few minutes after my drink was brought Sean checked in and walked right up to the table where I was seated so I got up and shook his hand then we both sat.

Sean: sorry I'm late, got caught up with some work related stuff.

Me: it's all good, you are here.

He smiled then signalled the waiter.

Sean: it's good to see you again, I'm sorry you were not considered for the post.

Me: yeah such stuff happen. I guess it was not meant for me.

The waiter came and took our orders then left.

Sean: you didn't get the job because you failed the interview but because I wouldn't let you work there.

I looked up at him surprised.

Me: why not?

Sean: because I didn't want to bump into you along the corridors and pin you to the walls and kiss the hell out of you.

I almost choked on my drink, what did he just say?

Me: umm, sorry about that.

I said picking a napkin and wiping my mouth.

Sean: i like you, I have since that day I bumped into you and I haven't rested easy since then.

Me: well you are attractive but I needed the job more.

Sean: that's not a problem, i can always put in a good word for you in the company of your choice.

Me: that will not be necessary.

Sean: are you seeing someone?

Me: no I'm not seeing someone.

Sean: good, so can we go out sometime?

I didn't even know what to tell him. I showed up for that meeting having very different expectations and him asking to date me wasn't part of it. The waiter brought our foods and he sat there waiting for an answer.

Me: I don't know if I'm really ready for any commitments.

Sean: it doesn't have to be a commitment, I just want to get to know you.

Me: okay, we can go out sometime but that's all it is. Two people getting to know each other.

Sean: I can work with that.

Now I didn't know who i was fooling because watching his lips move made me feel stuff too then he had this smile that caused confusion and his eyes, damn!. The mere thought of going out with Sean gave me butterflies but what had I to loose, i was single and maybe that's what I needed to add some life into my already boring life.

After changing the tyres Eddy and Leo got to the place where matasi had said Robert would be so they parked their car at a distance but didnt take long before they saw two policemen walking out of some house.

Leo: are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Eddy: i don't know what you are thinking but why would they be here?

Leo: could it be that they found out about Roberts k********g?

Eddy: but why don't they have him with them?

The police got in their car and drove off so Eddy and Leo got out of the car and walked towards the house. They saw some lady who had a watering can with her standing opposite the gate where the police had come from.

Leo: hello, do you know who lives there?

Woman: not really but I saw a lady drove in and out severally, there was also a young man whom i saw once.

Leo: can you describe how the man looked like?

Woman: no, I was too busy to notice details.

Eddy: so where is the lady?

Woman: she left a few minutes after some guys came to the house and took someone with them. He looked injured. I thought it was fishy so I called the police.

Eddy walked out on Leo and woman and walked back to the car, Leo thanked the lady for her time then joined Eddy in the car and he drove off..

Dru was headed to the house where he had Robert kept but was on time to see Eddy and Leo drive off so he called venessa instead but she did not answer her phone.

"Damn you venessa you couldn't do something as simple as keeping your eye on someone"

He said driving off still trying to reach venessa.

Eddy took his phone and called Matasi asking to meet him in the next twenty minutes at a place Eddy had picked.

Matasi: is there a problem?

Eddy: no, I just decided to pay you cash instead of making a deposit.

Matasi: you found your boss?

Eddy: yes, he is safe now.

Matasi: I'm on my way.

Eddy ended the call and increased the speed.

Leo: are you going to kill him?

Eddy: he lied to us.

Leo: i think there is more to it. He gave us the location.

Eddy: but some guy got there ahead of us so he either played us or gave someone else the information. I think we are about to find out who the mole is.

Venessa stormed into Eva's house panting and asking her to help her. Eva looked outside and locked the door after she confirmed no one was after her then she rushed towards her.

Eva: what's going on?

Vanessa: they have him.. they took him and I'm in trouble.

Eva: who is they?

Venessa: you have to help me get out of here.

Eva: calm down venessa I can't help you if you can't construct complete sentences.what is going on?

Venessa: they kidnapped him and Dru will kill me for that.

Eva: who is Dru, i thought you were on vacation.

Venessa: I lied..

Dru called matasi and asked him to trace venessa on a number he gave him. Matasi told him he had a meeting but Dru threatened to tell Eddy that he was the reason why their plan to save Robert didn't work out. He said he would tell Eddy that he listened in on matasi giving some other guys the same information about where Robert was. When he heard that, he pulled over by the side of the road and traced venessa before he got to Eddy.

A few minutes later he sent Dru the address to where he had traced venessa and shortly after Dru was on his way.

Sean and I talked about alot of things after I had gotten a little comfortable and I found him to be a little more interesting than I thought. He had a meeting at around 5:00pm so he had to leave. He walked me to my car and I leaned on it as he stood in front of me with both hands in the pocket.

Sean: I hope my company wasn't so horrible. It's been a while since i took a beautiful lady out.

Me: it wasn't horrible at all. I enjoyed spending time with you.

Sean: so when do I see you again?

Me: soon.

Sean: okay, I will be waiting..

He smiled then opened the door to my car and I got in then he stepped back to watched me drive away.

Matasi drove towards Eddy's car and parked his just behind Eddy's then he got out and walked towards Eddy and Leo. Leo had his back towards the wall with his arms crossed to his chest while Eddy leaned on the front side of the car.

Eddy: did anyone follow you here?

Matasi: no.

Eddy: good.

He grabbed him and pushed him to the wall putting a under his chin and Matasi put his hands up in utmost shock.

Eddy: you had us fooled.

Matasi: I don't understand.

Eddy: when we got to that place, someone else had already gotten there and took him. You have five seconds to tell me who you have been talking to.

Matasi: i swear i have no idea what you are talking about.

Leo: maybe he is right. Wait!

Leo said pushing Eddy away and searching matasi.

Eddy: what are you doing?

Leo: checking if he could have been bagged. Are you wearing wires?

Matasi: not that I know of..

Leo checked his laptop and laptop bag and in the process found a pen stuck in one of the pockets. He checked the pen and found wires in it.

Matasi: i swear that is not mine, i don't even know how it got there..

Eddy: that is how they got ahead of us but who are they?

Mike walked into the building where Robert was being held hostage but since he didn't want Robert to see him or know he was part of whatever was going on there, he walked to the office and met the mysterious guy.

Voice: job well done Mike, how did you pull that off?

Mike: I have my ways. No one still suspects me but we need to move real fast. I think we are two moles only that I don't know who the other is working for.

Voice: how do you know that?

Mike: when I was recording the conversation between the IT guy and the other guy, I was in the washrooms doing my business until they stormed in. The IT guy told the other guy about where Robert was and they had no idea i was there. What do I do with the other mole do i take him out?

Voice: no. Him being there is protecting your cover, they will never know who is calling what shots. That will buy us some time. I need you to do something.

Mike: what?

Voice: get in Eddy's computer and steal a file. It has some information I need to bring not only him but the entire Anwar clan down.

Mike: i thought getting a hold of Robert was all you wanted.

Voice: no. I don't need Robert but holding on to him makes Eddy less powerful. I'm waiting for them to come looking for him then I will kill him..

Mike: you can't kill him.

Voice: get the files. Leave the action bit to me. You will have enough money in your account to keep this low profile...

Mike: how much time do I have?

Voice: 42 hours tops...

Mike: two days, how the hell do you expect me to get into Eddy's laptop when we are not even that close. The guy has a way of sniffing out wrong motive and I don't want to end up dead. Eddy never thinks twice before pulling a trigger and it does not matter who it is. With him it's clean the mess and talk about it later.

Mike: I picked you because you are smart. Voice: You always have a way... so do it before I find something to motivate you by...I don't give a damn about what Eddy can or cannot do..
