Chapter 13

1395 Words
Lana's POV We dropped the kids off to Sally and Tom, who were all too eager to watch them. From what I saw, they had games, junk food and movies galore ready and waiting. "They will be okay." Tyler was trying to reassure me. "I know, it's just hard to leave them with everything going on." We pulled up to the arcade restaurant. Tyler was bouncing like a little kid. "Okay, everyone on alert and don't leave any drinks unattended." We nodded and headed in. The "hostess" was one of our agents, so she seated us near where the apparent meeting was going to go down. Our waitress came over smiling sweetly at Grayson and Tyler and normal to me. Normally I am not a jealous person, but there was definitely venom in my stare. I don't like disrespect. She gave us her menu run down while smiling at touching Grayson and Tyler's arms. "So what can I get you handsome?" She asked Grayson making me tense a bit. Dammit Lana, he's not yours, calm down. Grayson moved his arm away from her. "I usually like to have my wife order first." He smiled at me and grabbed my hand on the table. Her face dropped while she looked at me. Ha take that. I ordered my drink and food. "That sounds good I'll take the same." Grayson smiled to me. "And you?" She sweetly asked TY, he was looking at someone at the bar. "I'll take him". We all laughed. She huffed "I'll have whatever they ordered, my sister has the same taste in food as me anyway." He broke eye contact with the waiter at the bar and nudged me. "Why so jealous L?" Ty asked. "I'm not, I don't like disrespect." I crossed my arms like a little kid making them laugh. "So while we wait, should we have some fun?" This place was crazy, half restaurant, half arcade, and it seemed like it was mainly adults here. "I don't see why not, I mean I don't recognize anyone yet." We ate our food and ordered a few more beers to have while we played. "Dammit really? You won again?" I laughed "What can I say hunny, I am highly competitive." Grayson rolled his eyes to me as he lost the third game in a row. The waiter Ty was eyeing came over with a couple more drinks for us. I slung my arm around Tys shoulders, feeling the alcohol kick in. "You know whiskey d**k isn't that fun, right? stop feeding my brother drinks, and maybe you have a shot at a good night." Tyler's face got all red. "Ad stop embarrassing your brother, can't you see he like likes him." Grayson rubbed his head. We both laughed "f**k off, you two suck" Tyler and the waiter laughed. Grayson and I sat back down at the table while Ty talked to the guy at the bar. "So Tyler likes both?" I took a sip of my beer and nodded, "yeah we bonded over both being bi. We call each other bi best friends." Grayson's face got all red. "Wait, you have been with a woman?" I laughed. " Yeah. A few. It's more connection for me though. If I connect with you, then great. It was mainly in school, between Tyler and right before Daniel actually got me to date him. After that though, it was just Daniel." He spit his drink out, "wait hold on, you were with him too?" "Just during our training school, more so to pass the time. I love Tyler to death, but like my brother. He actually introduced me to Daniel. He pushed me to date him. He knew Daniel would be my person. "Lana," Grayson sighed. I looked into his eyes "I am so, so, so sorry." I could tell how genually sorry he really was. I grabbed his hand. "I know, Grayson. But we can't change the past, so let's take care of the present for everyone's future." His eyes widened "woah down girl getting to serious." We both laughed. I held up my beer "to the future!" He clicked his to mine "to the future." He looked into my eyes with an almost longing look. I held his gaze as I took another sip. I was feeling the alcohol now. "I am starting to think this was a set up." Grayson looked around confused. "Why?" I looked at Tyler. "Unless it's the waiter, there hasn't been a single suspicious thing. Plus it's been three hours, and we are about 6 beers in, and I am feeling it." Sally's number popped up. "Sally? Is everything okay?" She laughed on the other end "everyhting is fine dear. The kids are sleeping soundly in the spare room, just wanted to call and check to see how your night has been?" She said that a bit too nice "Sally?" She sighed "I am sorry dear but we all agreed this needed to happen to get you all on the same page. You three need to work as a team, as one. Spending time together will help that."I looked at Grayson. He was just smiling an shaking his head. "Come over for breakfast in the morning and then the kids can tell you all about the fun they had." The line click and I sat there dumb founded. Tyler walked over "everything okay?" I looked up at him. "We have been played." He laughed "well then, lets have some fun shall we?" He pulled me up and walked towards the door. "What are you doing?" We met the waiter guy by the door "his shift just ended and said thees a fun dance bar a block away let's get going!" Grayson looked at me and shrugged. "Alright I guess so." He got more drinks and Tyler and the guys name was Trevor I think were busting up the dance floor. One of my favorite songs came on and I squealed a little. Grayson's hand was in front of me. "Come on, let's dance! I never actually got to do much of this." I took his hand. "Okay, let's dance." We made it over to Ty and Trevor. Ty started singing along and twirled me, spun me right into Grayson's chest. My back to his chest. I started moving to the music. He followed. Before I knew it, my arms were up around his neck and his hands on my waist. All tension was gone. I got lost in his body. When the song ended, I thought it best we all head home. Everyone agreed, and we made the walk back, slightly sobering up but still I was hyper aware of how the alcohol made me feel towards Grayson. It intensified my sober feelings towards him. We made it inside, and I beeline to my bathroom. I splashed cold water on my face and got into my silk pajamas. As I walked to my bed, I heard a knock. I opened it to Grayson standing there in nothing but gym shorts. Jesus help me. "Uhm Tyler kicked me out, he's in there with Trevor. I just wanted to let you know not to come guns blazing downstairs. If you hear something, it's just me." I opened the door wider, "you're not sleeping on that couch, it's not that comfortable." He took a step back "Grayson it's fine, please just get in here." He stepped in and I closed the door. He turned towards me and I bumped into his chest. My hands instinctively landed on his pecks. I looked into his eyes and lost all sense. I grabbed his face and kissed him. I felt him tense, but he gave in as well. Our tongues were fighting for dominance. I pushed him down onto the bed, and straddled him. His hands on my hips gripping them for dear life. "Lana, I" I cut him off by kissing him again, "no talking, these feelings have built up, and I need a release, please." I all but begged. He flipped me over and kissed my neck and made his way down my stomach until he reached my core. I arched and moaned. I grabbed his head and held him tight against me. I can figure out if I regret this in the morning, but right now I am all in.
