I am supposed to die?!

Story 8

I told him from when i was with terresa until i became a maid.

Luckily the duke supressed his emotion but the plates did broke....

The duke was silent for a moment when i was done telling my story and i was eating the food that arrived.

'Man, food of nobility really are delicious this is the first time i ate this'

I was enjoying the food and acted for the first time like a child while the duke was silent and didnt even touch his food and so i was worried

"Um duke you should eat, it will be a waste.."

i said shyly but the duke was back and replied "Im sorry okay i will eat, you should too"

Even if he said that i was still worried but i keep quiet.

Not to long when we finished breakfast but me and the duke had walks at the garden and we also chatted along the way.

"Annalise did you know that the person who you call gramps is actually my teacher" the duke said

"Oh really! No wonder you are good at managing mana"

i said "What do you mean? You can see mana" he said and i replied "Well um yeah, i kinda see mana or like auras from humans or any race."

"You really are ny daughter" the duke said and i saw his smile that was kinda refreshing to look at since he was handsome. "you have the same ability, duke?"i asked "Yes, it is an ability that was passed down to generations from my mother side." he said "Oh, i thought it was gonna be from you father side" i said and then we arrived at my room, i just realized that the duke was escorting me and so i thanked him. the duke said to stay at the room i am currently staying and that he has buisness to take care but he said not to anywhere and that eh will invite me to dinner but we all know i will not follow but it seems the duke gave me guards....

"Sigh*"

I glanced at the guard and the high rank mage and then i kept walking then arrived at the garden.

'Tsk.i shouldnt have told that i know magic, s**t now i cant properly escape'

I look around in the garden but i eventually got bored, so i ran.

"Oh for f**k sake i rather die than be bored."

as i said that i threw my umbrella at the knight and the mage as i casted acceleration spell on my boots and flicked my finger at the both of them and throw water canons then teleported.

"PfftHahaha that was fun."
