(Caspian POV)
Ok, I hate changing my name but it was suggested by my Viceroy, Abel. He said it is better to keep my real name a secret.
He said my name sounds a bit weird for humans according to research he made. If anything Abel was good at, it is gathering resources and planning. He was the best in my kingdom.
Besides the film industry is known to change the original name a lot.
Adapting to the human world is kind of hard. There are many things they have which I find very complex.
The technology and all other things on Earth are a bit weird but also very interesting.
Phone for instance. It is a great invention they have made since they are incapable of sending fire or spirit messages. Although not as fast and efficient as teleportation, the so call vehicles to take them to places at a faster pace.
There are also flying vehicles that replace our wings.
I must say humans are clever to find alternative solutions for what they don't have as natural.
But I love every moment I am here.
I walked out of the bathroom after a hot shower. My body was tensed from all the work.
Being a model is not easy work. I was completely blank when I was asked to pose especially when they started giving me objects. Nut once again Abel came to my rescue and took care of it. The guy who came to help me was very knowledgeable on the field.
I had to absorb his talent. I didn't want to. I mean absorbing talent doesn't harm the human in any way but it will make me lose a lot of energy.
"Your dinner is ready, Sire," Abel said as I nod and walked to the closet. I put on my dress and went to the dining room where the food is perfectly laid on the table.
After dinner, I went to the room following Abel.
I took out the phone and opened her number. Abel has helped me learn basics so I know how to call and message.
I frowned again. She has sent no message. Did I send it to the wrong number? Is she getting my messages?
'Hello? Are you getting my message?'
I messaged again and waited for a few minutes.
"Abel. Am I doing it correctly? She hasn’t replied to me" I said as I handed my phone to him. He nodded and gave it back to me.
"Yes, it is correct, sire. Don’t worry. She must be busy. I am sure she will message soon" he said as I frown and nod.
"You can go rest, Abel. You have worked so hard for me these past 2 days. As soon as my queen is in my hand, we will go back to Oregon" I said as he smiled.
"I am happy to help. Both as your viceroy and as your best friend" he said as I grinned.
Abel is my childhood friend since we were little dragons. While I was training to be a king, he was being trained to be my viceroy. He is spontaneous, skillful, and reliable.
These past 2 days, he was having a hectic schedule since living in the human world is a bit new for me. Abel on the other hand occasionally stayed on earth from time to time for meetings and other purposes.
"Abel, Update me on my kingdom and bring me my work," I said as he nodded and bowed his head before walking out.
The work went through a whole 3 hours of pure concentration but since I was keeping on looking at my phone for her message I was slowed down. Abel had to take my phone away so I won't look at it.
But after work when I got my phone, it was 0 messages.
I lie on my bed and sigh and I kept looking at the phone. I feel so frustrated…. I want to see her now. I wanted to hear her voice.
Suddenly my phone dinged and I quickly grabbed it. Opening the phone I saw a notification making a smile appear on my face.
'Hey, Chris. This is Sophia! Sorry about the late reply. I just got home from the meeting'
With that, I started to talk to her. We messaged throughout the entire night. We talked about life, interest, and work. It was a bit hard to speak to her since my interest is a bit different from her but I loved the moment.
She taught me how to use stickers and download more. She also sent me a video of her singing. Well, it was a long word which has no particular meaning. She called it a link. When I clicked on it, I was sent to another place where I saw her singing.
My heart was jumping hearing her beautiful voice as she sings. I could see by the way she closes her eyes and smiles that she loves the feeling of singing.
I smiled as I found more of her videos. But then the videos stopped and I didn't know what to do. I looked at the clock and found it was 6.00 am.
I yawned and switched my phone off before going to bed. I need to get at least a few hours of rest.

"Sire? It is time to wake up. You have to get ready for the shoot" Abel's voice rang my ear as I groaned.
"I want to sleep, Abel. I didn’t sleep yesterday" I said as I turned my head to the other side.
"Why, Sire. Is the bed not comfortable?" Abel asked as I sighed and sat up.
"I was talking to her the whole night," I said as a smile made way to my face.
"Well, you better get ready, sire. You are going to see her soon and this time you both hang out in the same hotel" he said as I stand and walk to the bathroom as he went to the closet.
"It is a perfect opportunity to impress your mate, sire. Talk to her more on lunch time; take her out for dinner and all." He said as I brushed my teeth.
"Oh yes. I asked her to join me for dinner today. Forgot to mention it to you yesterday night" I said as he said a "Yes".
I walked out of the bathroom to see Abel with my dress in his hand.
"You know I can pick on my own," I said as he shook his head.
"No offense, sire but you have a horrible dressing sense," he said as he walked out.
He is not wrong about that. I am never interested in what I wear. I wear what I see first. No combination or anything.
I put on the black shirt and white pants along with a silver watch and black shoes. I took my sunglasses, phone, and my wallet before making my way down.
I always need my glasses since I tend to get uncontrollable around her- Like what happened in the photo shoot. She was so close to me that my eyes changed to that of my dragons.
Reaching the resort, I was welcomed by the director and manager of the resort. They led me to my new room and gave me 1 hour to settle the things before going down to change for the shooting.
The room was red and white themed and beautiful. There was a sit out and a bedroom along with a balcony.
I went out of the balcony and my eyes widen in surprise as I saw Sophia look out the balcony.
"What a surprise," I said as she turned around shocked.
"Oh. It's you. Sorry, you scared me a little" she said as I smiled and walked to her. There was a gap between us but if both of us reach our hands then I guess it will touch.
"What are you doing here?" I said as she sighed and looked at the beach.
"Just looking at the beautiful scenery. I love the beach." She said as I nod.
"I love it too. I always remember going playing on the beach with my parents and sibling. It was bliss" I said smiling at the memory.
"Oh you have siblings?" she asks as I nod.
"A younger brother and sister," I said as she smiled.
"Must be fun." She said and I noticed the sadness laced in her voice.
"Well I have always heard being a single child is also good. Your parents will love you unconditionally" I said as she huffed.
"Yes sure," she said as I frowned.
"Is everything alright?" I asked as she nods.
She looked at me and as her eyes met mine, my heart skipped a beat. We stared more deeply into my eyes and I could hear her heartbeat sink with mine.
It was the first step of bonding. A mate bond will cause effects on both the partners. Since she is a human it will be very less but it's still there.
As we acknowledge and accept the bond between each other we become even more stranger…. More sane…
Slowly the bond becomes, even more, stronger as we progress.
Suddenly her eyes widen as she cleared her throat and moved back looking away.
"Yes. Everything is alright…. They are just busy with their work but they love me" she said and somehow I knew she was hiding something.
"Let's go. We have to go get ready for the shoot" she said as I nod.
