Mist’s P.O.V.
“You are looking beautiful, really”, I looked at Kane nervously and tried to smile but failed miserably. I didn’t know why I was so nervous right now. This was not the first time that I came to Kane’s parents’ house but something was really strange with me tonight. We were standing outside the garden where the party was going on right now. Chris was yet to arrive and Lucas had also not arrived which made me more nervous than I was already. Kane put his hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I glared at him when I heard him chuckling. “Why are you nervous, huh?” he asked me in an amusing tone and I huffed.
“I am worried that I would be eaten alive by all those jealous girls there who want to have a piece of you for themselves”, I mocked at him and he laughed harde
