Charlotte got a few thugs from the underworld with the help of a new friend she has made in Boston. “Look, I want a perfect job, if you get caught you’re on your own,” she told the leader of the gang and gave him the half p*****t.

“Ma’am, you should ask around. We’re known for neat jobs, there is nothing to worry about, just chill and wait for the result” he mumbled as he checked the money which was given to him by Charlotte. Realizing that half of the money was complete, he turned to his minions and gestured to them to leave. Charlotte let out a deep sigh and hopefully prayed that the plan was successful. She hummed happily and strolled home as the hideout for the thugs was just a few miles away from Andrew's house.

I’ve made up my mind to begin the process of sending Audrey out of my villa, I couldn’t stand the fact that I see her every day in my villa but she was not within my reach, that’s a punishment that I can’t bear. I gritted my teeth pacing around the banister while waiting for Audrey to step out of her room, I had planned to make the banister rise and move to another site, but unfortunately, she came out with a serious face and ambled down the stairs, she gave me no chance to perform my stunts. “How could you not let me know about this?” She let out as she strode out of the house without having breakfast, that was not like Audrey. She would make sure to eat enough before leaving for work. “I can sense something is wrong” I quickly made up my mind to follow her to work and shoved the thought of getting her frightened aside then stormed out of the house. It wasn’t long before we reached the store, I sat at the corner taking in everything. It was in a few minutes that I realized that I was just overthinking the whole situation. She was worried that the models arrived earlier before the appointed time and they hadn't planned out anything for the photoshoot.

“This is absurd. I can’t believe that I’m acting like a clown because of a woman” I thought with a hiss and was about to leave when I noticed a sly movement in the store. I held back and decided to look through to see what was going on, but nothing happened. Audrey made a quick call and took the model that was sent by DX to the studio for an editorial shoot.

“This is a mess, I should have stayed back than lurking in the dark,” I thought to myself and sighed deeply. “Well, since I’m here I’ll just look around” I nodded to my thoughts and locked my eyes.

“Mara, pack up and leave when you’re done,” One of the workers said to the girl at the countertop and left. She nodded in accordance. I opened my eyes and was stunned that I had completely dozed off for a long time. I could barely sleep when I’m the villa, now I fell into a slumber while trying to get some rest. I got up from the sofa and stretched myself, I watched one of the workers leave and wondered what was taking Audrey too long to return? and stood up from the seat. I gazed around and found out it was dark and I needed to head back home.

“Hey!” I heard a voice from behind me and turned slowly as I thought I might have exposed myself to a human but rather got stunned when I saw the girl at the countertop motioning three guys into the store.

“I’ll leave it to you guys.” She muttered, packed her things, and ran out of the store. At first, I was confused, I had no idea what they were up to. I just stood at the corner watching their move.

“Come on, we have to be quick. Make sure no one sees you” a bully man said to the other two guys standing in front of him. They nodded tremendously and immediately stepped outside. Shortly they came back with gallons filled with diesel. “You! Go this way. And you! This way” he ordered pointing in different directions. My face darkened as I understood what they wanted to do. How could someone be so vicious as to burn down a store of another? Without thinking much I turned to my real form and approached the three guys who were about to start the dirty work they came for.

“What the heck do you think you’re doing?” I inquired with a raised brow. The trio shuddered and swirled towards me. Shock was written visibly on their faces as they weren’t expecting someone to show up at this moment.

“Hey! Who are you and what are you doing here?” The bulky man asked with a husky tone.

“I’m your nightmare!” I responded and immediately appeared in front of him with my super speed. I gripped his throat and pulled him up. “I’ll ask you for the last time, what are you doing here with these?” I inquired with my eyes slowly turning shades of red. The minions became scared when they saw their leader being held by the neck, they attempted to run out through the door. I acted fast and slammed the door leaving them no way to escape. I turned to the bulky man and tightened my grip on his neck. Slowly he turned pale as he was losing breath and pleaded to be released. I scoffed and released him, “bang!” He landed on the ground like a sack of garbage, he held his neck while gasping for air. I smirked and turned away from him, the bulky man signaled to his minions to attack me from behind as I was focusing my gaze outside the store.
