Zaira had practically never seen a dead body before. She had always lived in a relatively safe environment. In the Shadowmoon pack, unless you walked with the wrong crowd and ended up at the wrong place to witness the wrong thing, or you worked in the hospital, you probably would never encounter a dead body ever in your life.
It might not be the same in other packs but in the Shadowmoon Pack, most people lived a perfect bubble life. Free from danger or adversity.
