As soon as dad said those words I was shocked. So I turn my back to him to control my tears and then I heard a sound I turn around and there I see my dad's face was turned to the left side and mom was standing right in front of me.“how dare you to say this kind of thing to my daughter she did everything for us and now you are talking s**t to her” Mom said in an angry voice.

“what the hell is wrong with you how could you slap me because of her” dad said while pointing at me and making a disgusting face. Saying so he was about to slap mom but mom hold his hand “enough is enough because of you they took Mary with them. Because of you Mia has to do everything because of you she couldn’t enjoy her childhood it’s always because of you that we suffer” Mom said while trying to make him realize his mistake.

“what do you mean even I use to earn before she was born we were so rich but after she was born everything went in hell I lost my business just because of her she is a curse to our family” dad shouted that in an anger tone and I was trying to control my tears as I didn’t wanted to shed“she is not a curse to my family do you get that. And you know what I can’t live with you get out of my house now”. Mom shouted at dad. For a sec dad was shocked but then he left the house in angry and mom sat on the sofa and started to cry.“mom don't cry" I sat beside her and side hugged her.

“I am ok I just need some rest and you should also sleep now” mom went to her room and I even went to my room and slept it was a tiring day.

Next Morning

keeping my problems aside I was sleeping peacefully when I heard my phone rang who is calling me now it's weekend let me sleep but this i***t phone didn`t stop ringing I started to searched for my phone on the bed once I found the phone without looking who is calling I picked up the call “who the hell is it that’s disturbing me so early,” I said in a sleepy tone “it’s me” I heard the caller's reply “who me??” I asked in an irritated tone

“it’s me Alex knight your boss" the moment I heard I sat upright on my bed

“sorry sir ummm.. why did you call so early” I tired to keep my tone polite “early it already 10:00 am” sir said “yea so” I said in a normal tone and I also wanted to add that its weekend so its my wish when I want to wake up but I didn’t as I didn’t wanted him to get angry “yea so. YOU TODAY HAVE TO MEET MY FAMILY” he suddenly shouted that I took the away from my ear

After Alex sir was done with his shouting I said “oh ok sir so can you send me the address I will reach there “no it's ok I will come to pick you up at 2 and dress up properly wear something good" he said “ok sir anything else" I asked him "no bye" he said and cut the the call without letting me say bye

Alex POV

Last night after doing my work in the office I went home over there I saw my family over there as soon as I entered Mom came and hugged me and I was taken aback what just happened here. Why was everyone here just when I was thinking about it and then I saw Max coming down from the stairs with my cousins there I got the answers of my question.

I think he told Mom and Mom went and told everyone and here they are.“Alex what Max told us is it true” Mom asked me in a happy tone. “Mom what did he said,” I asked mom and glared at Max and I asked him “what the hell did you say why did you say it I was going to tell her”. “Alex chill your mom was asking me, again and again, do you have a girlfriend so I told her you do" Max replied to me and I just kept staring at him

“Alex are you listening to me,” mom said to me “yes Mom what is it,” I asked her “when are you going to bring her home I want to meet her" she was smiling brightly “Mom this weekend you can meet her,” I told her “you mean tomorrow omg I don’t believe it” Mom got really happy and excited after hearing that she would meet my girlfriend tomorrow “Yes Mom she is coming and if you are done so can I go to my room I need to change” I said "yeah yeah go and change quickly we will set the table and then we all will have dinner together” mom said “ok” I said to her

After talking to mom I was about to go to my room but first I went to Max who was standing alone near the bar and drinking "how could just tell mom that I found a girlfriend without even asking me that did I found a girl who is ready to pretend in front of my parents" I asked Max and he replied very calmly "I knew you found the girl as you didn`t call me back to find a girl for you" he said with a smile he knows me so well "now hurry up get changed and come quickly as I am starving" Max said to me "I will try to come early" with that I climbed the stairs tk go to my room

I reached my room changed my clothes and then I went to the dinner table. When I reached the dinner table there I saw everyone was sitting on the table and waiting for me. Dad was sitting on the head chair and when I reached the dining table dad suddenly got up from his chair and everyone’s attention went on him he made me stand with him and he was holding a wine glass in his hand “I am happy to announce that finally Alex has found a girl for himself to get married” and I just kept standing while my cousins and everyone present starting hooting and smiling

and he further continued “with this, I also announce that I am getting retired and making Alex the new CEO”. After dad`s announcement everyone started to congratulate me I hugged dad and then when I saw my mom she was looking proudly at me “congratulation son” mom said that while smiling “thanks mom and thanks to everyone for coming here thanks guys” I said to mom and everyone “ok man stop being so emotional let’s eat the food I am hungry” Max said “yea” I agreed with him and all started to eat food while eating mom said,

"what is the name of your girlfriend". mom asked "her name is Mia" and with that, we ate the food and everyone went back home. we were standingin living room and I said "good night" "Alex don`t forget tomorrow your girlfriend is coming tomorrow to meet us" mom said that more like reminded me that "yes mom and dad you will meet her tomorrow promise" I said to her with a small smile "now I am going to sleep goodnight mom and dad" I said "good night" they both said that together and went to their room. I also went to my room and slept.

Next morning

I woke up at eight I went to the washroom changed my clothes and then I went down for breakfast. As soon as I was done with my breakfast I went to my room and I called Mia that I will pick her because I know she is going to wear something which I won't like so its better if I call her now so that she gets ready and I will see if she needs to change her dress or not

As soon as she picked up the call she said who the hell is disturbing her sleep wow she is still sleeping. So I said it's me I thought she will remember me my voice but she didn’t so I said Alex and with that she was shocked and she was scared I could sense that in her voice and I liked that.

She said yea sir why did u call wow did she forget about our deal after she got the money just by thinking that she forgot the favor I did on her it made me angry so I said in an angry voice TODAY YOU HAVE TO MEET MY PARENTS and she said that should send the address and she will reach my parents house there wow Mia thought that I will send the address just because she was asking. No, I told her I will come to pick her up by two. "Ok, sir anything else" she asked me "no bye" I said and before she could say anything I cut the call
