Mia POV

After talking with sir I went to the washroom to do my daily routine and went to out of my room to eat food “dear your breakfast is on the table eat it after that we will go out to buy something’s” mom said in a week voice she came with breakfast and kept it on the table she got a cup of coffee at kept it in front of me then she sat on the head chair by looking at the mug I suddenly remembered about Alex sir Oh s**t I have to go out with sir and I also have to tell Mom about the marriage thing what do I do now and how do I tell her I was just thinking about it.

Just then I felt like someone was shaking me so I looked on my left side and there I saw Mary was standing “sis what is wrong with you mom is calling you” Mary said to me "yes mom" I said “Mia I think you should get married now how long are you going to stay single” mom said in a worried tone “Mom I was about to talk about this” I said in a serious tone “Is there anyone who you like” mom asked me with a smile “yes mom” I said in a low tone with a small smile

“oh dear then why don`t you call him here we can talk to him about the marriage and then we can meet his parents also what do you think about that but first tell me what is his name? what work does he do? Is he from your office?” mom asked me with so much happiness in her voice I just felt like telling her the truth “Mom calm down today I am going to meet his family and then when he will be free he will come to our place” I said

“ok dear but what is his name and what work does he do at least tell me that much”

mom asked me in a serious tone “Mom his name is Alex. Alex knight" I said “dear isn`t that your boss name" mom asked in a serious tone “yes Mom he is my boss the CEO of the company where I work" I replied

“Mia how is that possible you have been working in his company only for 2 months” mom asked mom don't ask too many questions please because I will say the truth and also don't get suspicious that why I suddenly started to like my boss I thought

“I know that Mom but. You know when he said he likes me I was shocked I took my time to answer him and even I think I like him Mom” I said in a nervous tone “ok dear if that`s what you want” thank God she believed me “thanks mom” I said with a smile and mom smiled neck. I started to sip my coffee while thinking that

Wow because of him I had to lie to my mom I think I need to tell sir to make some story up because I feel that his family is going to ask the same question from me oh God plz help me.

After breakfast, I went to my room and messaged sir "Hello sir it`s me, Mia. Sir, I just informed my parents about the marriage and my parents want to meet you and sir I think we should make a story so that your family and my family can believe that we really like each other". After messaging sir I went and took out some clothes while doing so I got a message from my best friend. O s**t I have to tell her everything.

I picked up my phone and dial her number.“hey Mia where have you been you didn’t call me yesterday” Ava answered me in a cheerful voice “hey I was just little busy" "Ava are you busy right now” I asked her “no why are you asking that and what is wrong with you why do you sound so low is everything did your dad again do a new drama” she asked me in a worried tone

“Ava can you plz come to my place I need to talk to someone I can’t do this I can’t lie anymore" I was crying by now “babe it's ok I am coming I will be there in 10 mins now don’t cry ok” she said in a tensed tone and O replied "Hmm”

After 10 mins I heard a knock on the door

"Dear plz check who is on the door" mom said from the kitchen and I ran from my room to the door I knew who it was I didn’t even have to check it. It was Ava and as soon as I open the door she hugged and so did I. “Mia who is it” mom asked from the kitchen and Ava answer “ hello aunty it`s me Ava” she said in a happy tone and I took her to the living room mom also came there “dear how are you?" mom asked her "I am fine aunty" Ava replied "how are you aunty" Ava asked "I am fine come sit I will bring something to eat" mom said with a smile mom consider Ava as her daughter

“Mom I will come and take it you don’t come ok and then just go to your room and rest ok" I said to her “ok dear" mom replied. Then I took Ava to my room we both sat on my bed “what`s wrong with you why were you sounding so low on the phone” Ava asked and I tears started to flow from my eyes “Mia you better tell me what is wrong with you did anyone said to you? something happened in the office?” I nodded my head in no.

“then tell me what happened" she asked me but I didn’t said anything "ok calm down first then we will talk ok chill”. After crying my eyes out I said “I am getting married” Ava was shocked after hearing that “what, with whom and when this is the reason you are crying are your parents forcing you” she asked in an anger tone and I nodded my head in no "Then what is the problem tell me so that I can help you” she said in a pleading tone.

Then I started to tell her about the kidnapping, the contract marriage, and that I am going to meet Alex's parents today and the main thing is I am getting married for a year to my boss. After listening to me Ava was shocked “how dare him he is just taking advantage of you. You know what I am going to kill him I can’t see my best friend living a life in which she not happy” Ava said angrily “I feel so much better after talking to you” I said with a small smile “and now we can`t do anything I needed money to safe Mary and he helped me Ava I can't forget Alex did a big favour on me because of him I was able to safe Mary" I said in a low tone its true and I can’t forget that he helped me

and now its my turn to help him" I said in a determined tone "it`s better if we just go with the flow” I said “We can do one thing in one year you are going to make him fall in love with you,” Ava said “what the hell are you speaking he is my boss I can`t do that Ava” I shouted on her and Ava looked at me with a disappointment on her face. I got up from the bed and opened my cupboard to see which dress should I wear as I was going to meet Alex family “where are you going?” Ava asked

“I have to meet Alex family, today” I told her “and are you going to wear this jeans and t-shirt wow are you going meet your friend" she asked in a sarcastic tone I turned to face her and nodded my head in no "no right you are going to meet his family right then wear something more nice something beautiful” she said “I think what you are saying is right I should try something good” I was thinking what to wear “wear my dress it's better from your jeans" Ava suggested

“if I will wear your dress what about you" I asked her “i***t you forgot I always keep an extra dress in my car wait I will go and get it” Ava went to her car to get the dress. Ava always keeps an extra dress in her car so that if any time her dress gets ruined she has a spare dress which can wear.

After Ava got the dress I went to the washroom to change I wore the dress and came out of the washroom and went to the dress table I stood in front of the mirror. The dress reaches till my knee-length and its color is dark blue with yellow flowers on it but it was off-shoulder and was showing my cleavage which was making me uncomfortable so I said to Ava “Ava don’t you think this dress is showing too much” I asked her in a nervous tone “rich people wear these kinds of clothes” Ava said “I think I should change it” I told Ava and I was about to go to the washroom to change

“NO u will not” Ava shouted “what time is it,” I asked "its 1:35 pm” Ava answered

“I think I will go and change quickly” just when I was about to enter the bathroom my phone started to ring “oh s**t is it sir plz check Ava” I said “yes it is” she said “s**t I don’t think I can change now I will just leave bye” with that I when out of my room, said bye to mom and told her not to wait for me and I left my house.

The moment I exit my home people were staring at me I was not feeling good with this stare thing I saw sir's car which was parked near my house I sat in his car and I saw he was scowling at me and I knew something was wrong I greeted him “hello sir” I said in a low tone and with a small smile “what the hell are you wearing you are going to meet my parents not going to some bar or some party” sir shouted on me I knew it this was not the right dress and at this moment I was thinking to go to Ava and kill her

“I thought you rich people like this kind of dresses and you only said to dress nicely” I said in a small voice “what who the hell told you this I knew you wear something shitty that`s why I called you early” sir said in an anger tone “sir so should I go and change” I said “no need I will take you to my friend she will help you out" sir said that and I just nodded my head in ok as I can't even do anything else
