“What the hell he wants me to marry him that too for a year wow just wow” I went to my cabin and sat on my chair and got lost in my thoughts how will I save Mary now just then my phone started to ring.

As soon as I saw who was calling I got worried because it was my mom what if she has something to say about Mary or what if they did something to Mary no that’s not possible. I answered the call "hello dear" mom said "yes mom what’s wrong did they call again and said anything" I asked in a tensed tone “no dear they did not call yet but I called you to ask if you have arranged the money or not" Mom asked me "we don’t have much time left“ mom said in a worried tone

As mom was sounding very worried I said to her “yes mom I have arranged the money don’t worry” “Really dear oh thank God” mom said in a happy tone "ok mom I have some work to do I will talk to you later bye” I said to her “yea ok bye“ mom said and she cut the call What have I done I just said I have arranged the money but I haven’t. Now this is the only option I got up from my place and then I again sat back.

How can I go back now say yes it's just been two minutes when I said no and left his cabin ugg I should wait for some time yea at least an hour but what if he found someone else by that time, oh Mia run I started to run to sir`s office and said to myself ok Mia calm down and don’t stutter in front of him after saying this to myself I knock on the door 3 times and waited for the answer then I heard him saying come in.

”yes Miss Mia” Alex said in his bossy voice with a smirk on his face. “S-sir,” I thought to myself why did I stutter again forget that Mia talk about the main thing for which you came here and then I said “I agree for the contract marriage,” I said in a shy and nervous voice suddenly Alex look at me with a smirk and said “I knew it you will agree that’s why I have made the contract ready for you so that you can sign it now and then by next week we will get married and in one year we will get a divorce and you can live your life,” sir said that to me (more like ordered me) "sir I need money that's why I am marrying you but why are you marrying me" I asked him "because my father said that if I didn't got married then he will make" he was taking in normal tone but when he said "my cousin the CEO" when sir said my cousin I don't know why but I felt like his tone was laced with anger "ok" I said

“but sir I have one condition,” I said .“what is it?” Alex asked. "sir I need the money now I have some family problem," I said that. “No that’s not possible first you have to sign the contract then you will get the money” Alex said “ok sir then can I have the contract papers now I will sign it and you will give me the amount now”

As soon as he gives me the papers I sign on it without thinking about anything. ”I think you should read first then you should sign you know somethings can be hard for you,” Alex said that too scares me. “No need sir it`s ok as long as you will give me the money I am ready to do anything”. I said in a strong and determined voice.

"ok good then but remember one thing in this one year you can’t interfere in my life and I will not interfere in your life second thing you can’t go out with boys ok” Alex said “yes sir“ I replied and I also wanted to say that even you can't go out girls but I didn’t as he the boss “ok then what are you waiting for sign” Alex said

Then I sign the contract and gave the papers back to Alex and he also signed the contract Alex then looked at me “ok so this weekend you are going to meet my parents then on Monday we will go to meet your family ok" he said that and I was shocked after hearing that but I didn’t said anything and just agreed as I signed the contract and right now he is the only one who can give me the money to save Mary “yea ok but sir can I get the money right now,” I said while looking down

“yeah I will just call my manager to get the money" Alex said "how much is the amount you need" he asked "500,000" I said in a low he looked at me with a shocked expression but he didn't said anything "hello manager come to my cabin with $500,000" he said in a bossy tone and cut the call "the manager is coming" he said to me and I thought that I should leave his cabin as if the manager came then "so I should go and come back ones he leaves the cabin" I said "why" he asked me in a confused tone "because then he will get to know that your going to give me the money and" before I could complete my sentence Alex said "your are not making any sense Mia" in an anger tone

"you didn’t let me complete my sentence I was saying that he will come to know that your going to give me the money and then in one week we will also get married" I said to him "you know what as I am not able to understand you do what you want" Alex said in an irritated tone "there is a possibility that he will get suspicious if you gave me money in front of him because you will me money today and next week we are getting married suddenly" I said to him and he thought for sometime "ok fine go" Alex said in a clear tone. I went back to my cabin and I stood near the door I saw the manager went in and then after few seconds he left

When the manager left after few minutes I knocked on Alex door "come in" he said I went inside and stood in front of me "take the money" he passed me the money and I took it from his hand "ok sir then I will get going thank you so much bye" I said in a normal tone with a smile "hmmm go“ Alex said and I went out of Alex cabin and then I went to my cabin

I sat on the chair and kept the money in my bag OMG, what have I done? did I do the right thing? yea I did the right thing if not this then how should I have got the money. It`s already 6 pm I can only leave after sir leaves why is he not leaving. So I picked up a file and went to sir office to make it sign and tell him that I have some emergency and I need to leave now

Alex P O V

I told Mia about the contract marriage she didn’t agree but it doesn’t matter to me because I was sure that she will agree at the end somehow. Not even an hour passed she came to my office “s-sir I agree for the contract marriage” with that I had an evil smile on my face. But when we were about to sign the contract she said that she has a condition and that was she needs the money now. For a sec I thought that she was going to ask for many things but she only needs $500,000 this amount is nothing for me. it’s just a small amount for me. So I said to her, ok you sign the contract I will give you the money and she did as I told her and then I told her about the plan about meeting our families and just said yes.

Then I called my manger to get the money and Mia said that she will leave from my cabin at first I didn’t got her point but when she said that if the manger came and she stayed in my cabin the manager will come to know or maybe he will get suspicious that I gave Mia the money and then we got married straight after this incident so to avoid complications I agreed to her plan. Mia went to her cabin the manger came with the money to my cabin he gave the money to me and left. After few minutes Mia came I gave her the money and then she left

After signing this contract I don’t why but I am not able to focus on anything so I just relaxed on the chair and I closed my eyes to take a nap. I think after 10 -15 mins I heard a knock on my door "come in" I said in a bossy tone that person enter it was Mia "Sir this file needs your sign,” Mia said to me in a normal tone “hmm what time is it” I asked while signing the papers "sir it 8 pm” Mia said I looked at her "you can go to your home now,” I told Mia. "ok sir bye” with that she left my office and I also started to pack my things and left for my home.

The moment I entered my home I saw my dad was looking at me with a disappointment I don’t know what happened so I went and said to my dad “give me the number” in an irritated tone “whose number” dad asked.“the one who took my sister” I said while trying my best to control my anger.

Suddenly dad stood up and said “no you just give me the money I will go and give them you will not do anything do you get that” dad said in an angry voice what is wrong with him,

”mom tell your husband to give me the number we don’t have much time we only have three hours now give me the number” I said in an anger tone "the place where those goons stay is not good for girls what of they did something to you and Mary so just give me the money I will take it and bring Mary back" dad said in a serious tone does he cares about me no I don't believe that

I heard mom's voice who was sitting on the sofa “dear plz give him the money why are you doing this I don't want anything to happen to my daughters plz stop this just give your dad the money so that he brings Mary back". mom said while crying. “ok mom stop crying I will give dad the money” I gave dad the money and he picked up his phone and went out. “mom why do you always emotionally blackmail me by crying” I shouted and sat on the sofa beside mom and I hugged her "don't worry nothing wrong will happen now" I said to mom with a smile "I know because you solved all the problems" mom said with a smile.

Mom and I were sitting on the sofa and waiting for Mary. After one hour the door bell rang mom went to open the door

and I followed her “Mom" Mary said and she hugged mom tightly and tears were flowing from her eyes mom hugged her back "Mary you came back are you ok did they do anything to you” mom asked while patting her head "I thought I will never see my family again I thought I will never come back home" Mary said in a low tone “but now Mom I am ok and they did nothing to me dad came on the right time,” Mary said in a happy voice Mary broke the hug thank God Mary is fine.

Then Mary hugged me and said "thank you so much I know you must have arranged the money to save me" Mary said in a low tone with a smile "leave that I am just happy that I was able to arrange the money and your back home" I said to her "I am going to sleep now good night" Mary and I went to our rooms to sleep

At night as I was sitting on my bed and started to think about my life where have I reached. First this $500,000 then this contract marriage while thinking about all this I fall asleep and then I heard my dad shouting not again why is shouting now I thought. “WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS FAMILY I JUST WANT TO GO AND TALK TO MIA FROM WHERE DID SHE GOT THIS MONEY” dad shouted that “plz lower your voice Mia and Mary will wake up,” mom said that in pleading voice I got up from the bed and went out “What is going on here,” I asked both of them “who gave you this money?” dad asked me “does it matter no right everything is solved then why are you asking this now,” I said this to dad in an irritated tone

“Mia you better tell me who gave you the money,” dad asked again in an anger tone “Mia why don’t you just tell your dad from where did you got this money” mom said I just felt like telling them I signed a contract marriage but I controlled myself “what did you kill someone or did you just sell yourself” I was shocked after listening to that how can he just say that. Suddenly someone slapped dad….

Who was it?

Was it Mia or her mother who slapped?
