| 11 | What’s your call, Boss?

Oro and Cartelli lead the assault and fire at anything that isn't them.

Bodies drop at the entrance of the mansion before they can even get the opportunity to fire at the enemy. Emeliana remains close to Luca as per his instructions, knowing that they all want to protect her, and though she doesn't believe she is, she is the most important person here. They advance stepping over the bodies of the men they just killed and proceed into the large house along with all the other men.

"Search the place..." Oro orders as their men begin to spread out, leaving only about 6 of them behind, including Emeliana, Luca, Oro and. Cartelli. They continue glancing around to see if they can spot any more people, and soon they begin to hear commotion in the house, letting them know they need to prepare for the second wave of their attack...

Out of a corner comes a group of men, ready to spray gunfire in their direction. But the Delassaros act fast and counter their attack, firing before their enemies have the chance.

Emeliana fires in their direction along with everyone else, each bullet firing out of her gun landing on a target in front of her. But before she can carry on, her instincts tell her to turn around immediately. She does exactly that, her eyes soon landing on two men sneaking up behind them. Emeliana wastes no time and fires at both of them without a second thought. The first bullet strikes the man at his side, making him yell out and fall to the ground. His cry grabs the attention of the men around them, making them turn around and rush to Emeliana's aid, but she doesn't seem like she needs it...

Emeliana fires at the last man, shooting both of his legs, making the man scream out as well, being seconds away from falling to the ground, but Emeliana rushes up to him instead

and shoves him up against a nearby wall.

She immediately points the gun at the bottom of his chin, staring up at him with nothing but a cold deadly expression on her face. She hears the man behind her continue to scream in agony, and he is seconds away from lifting an arm to fire at Emeliana, but he is quickly silenced when Luca steps forward quickly and aims at the man's head. A single bullet pierces through his skull and silences the man forever, his screams going completely mute as his limp body falls to the side.

"Hold him still..." Emeliana then orders just as Oro and Cartelli step forward and do as she's said while Luca and the other 3 men remain on guard.

"Where are Emelio and Franky Delassaro...?" Emeliana gets straight to the point as she looks the man in the eye, not caring for how much agony he is in. All she wants right now are her brothers, and she'll do anything to get them back.

"I don't know who you're talking about lady, please..." The man begs and Emeliana is not entirely sure if she believes him, and so she brings her gun back up and points it right at his head, hoping that will give him a little motivation.

"The two boys you are keeping here, where are they? We know you have them." She asks him and notices how nervous he becomes at the mention of her brothers. Emeliana then tilts her head slightly at the man before she points her gun at one of his legs once again, firing without a second thought, not even having to look at where she's firing to know she's made a bull's-eye.

"Arrrghhhh!!!" The man lurches forward in agony, but Oro and Cartelli hold him up against the wall, making sure he doesn't go anywhere, and instead answers the Boss' questions.

"WHERE ARE THEY?!" Emeliana shouts at the top of her voice and Luca glances over at her warily, not realising how furious she would become, how coldhearted she would act in relentless pursuit of her brothers. But at the same time, she understands exactly how she's feeling...

"Okay okay! We got a call from one of our bosses telling us to transfer the boys... that their location has been breached at there will be people coming after them..." The man answers desperately, sounding as if he is on the verge of tears and that's when Emeliana can tell that he must be telling the truth.

"You can search the house if you don't believe me but I promise you they're not here... I swear just please don't kill me, please..." The man continues to beg and he appeals to Emeliana's humanity for a few seconds. But it doesn't change how angry she is. She glances at Luca, unsure of what to do after what they've heard.

"Our people are still searching the place..." Luca tries to give Emeliana hope but she knows that the more time they waste here, the chances of her

"Why have so many guards if they're not here huh?" Emeliana then questions him, not finding a good enough reason as to why the house would be so heavily guarded what they're meant to be guarding isn't even here.

"We were meant to hold you off while the boys were transported to another location..." He answers and that's enough to set Emeliana over the edge, making her lose hope completely about finding her brothers here.

"They're not here..." Emeliana says defeatedly, her eyebrows creasing as she steps away and takes a few breaths to try and keep herself from losing it.

"I say we still check Emeliana...." Cartelli insists, glancing over at her while he still maintains a death grip against the man in front of him.

"I don't think that's a good idea..." Oro shakes his head, wary of how many people are coming after them as they speak.

They soon hear hurried footsteps, and they are immediately on high alert, pointing their guns in the direction of all the commotion and being ready to fire.

Eventually, they are met with the other team of men they arrived with and from the looks of it, it seems like they are unsuccessful...

"We searched everywhere boss, closets, bathrooms, all the rooms, they're not here..." one of the men informs the group and it feels like there is absolutely no hope at all for finding her brothers.

"Emeliana... they must've known we were coming, we have to get out of here..." Luca is now the one to advise her and that's when she looks at him warily, frustration written on her face as she struggles to come to terms with the fact that she's lost them again, and she'll have to start from square one all over again...

"What's your call boss ... should we keep looking...?" One of the men from the other team questions and Emeliana remains silent for a few seconds, contemplating her answer...

And finally, when she is about to inform them of her decision, something else grabs all their attention...

"Keep them distracted for a few more minutes, we're almost out of the basement with the boys..." They hear a voice speak over a set of comes, coming from the clothes of the man they are detaining. Everyone freezes as they all narrow their eyes at him, the man's face growing cold as if he's seen a ghost, realising the horrible mistake he's just made... one that will cost him his life...
