SACRED LOVE : 49 2/2 [6] The noisy dining room had already started to make Cia a nervous mess while she tried to be as calm as possible. As she exhaled deeply since no one was paying attention, she soon glanced aside to notice his gaze falling over at her here and there. Blinking, she looked away and glanced back within him, looking back at her, and his face holding such a cold yet intimidating expression was something she just could not ignore. Looking away even though nothing interrupted him, he laughed it off as she softly looked down at her lap. A glance at her while he took another bite of the bacon, he blinked while noticing her silence. It’s not that she was always noisy, but at least, she would try to help his mother or either smile when someone looked at her, but now she looked so distressed and he could not just ignore the fact that it may be because of him acting cold and ignorant towards her.  Damn, Was i? “Ms. Li? Are you not hungry?” As she weakly stood up, Mrs. Franziska spoke with a hint of surprise in her tone. Cia hesitantly left the place as she bowed. “I-Ah-” she tried to speak but then, watching Cia leave the dining hall, Mrs. Franziska gasped. “How impolite!” As Zal’s gaze fell upon her within himself, freezing in the middle of licking his lips. Eyes blinking, his stern gaze turned to the colorful window glasses that showed her shadow, which seemed to bend as if she was getting weaker with every step she took. "This is why I told you to not let young kids lead the house. It just gets worse, Mrs. Xin. It would" Cia's hand rubbing her head and he had enough.  He rolled his eyes as a deep exhale left his lips and soon he slammed the chopsticks beside the plate, making everyone look up at him. Standing up, he left the dining hall and Mrs. Franziska's mouth hung open.  Hearing the doors being slammed, Mrs. Franziska dramatically cussed under her breath. "Holy heavens, what's wrong with your son?" Mr. Xin glanced up as he noticed Zal's back disappearing afar. Noticing him walking upstairs, right where Cia had left him, Mr. Xin blinked. Looking down at his plate, he continued to talk about the call he had made. "Yes, I already took care of it." Mrs. Franziska glared at the door and soon everyone continued to eat.  Walking while the long curtains led the way through the large hall, he took a turn and his hand gripped the door handle. Stepping in, he slammed it close.  Sitting upon his own bed, he seemed to have lost his breath. Breathing heavily, he rubbed his head as his back laid upon the soft mattress. Cold wind brushing away the hair strands from his face, the t-shirt he wore under the button shirt stuck to his body ever so smoothly. A frown upon his face and he looked so stressed. Indeed, there was a reason for everything and for the stress and distance that pushed them far had a reason too. But he could not understand or find what that was. Frustrated, he threw the book off the bed before he groaned. "Fxck this!" He groaned before he heard a thud. Eyes blinking, his back straight raised within himself sitting up. Realizing it was the bedroom beside his, his eyes wandered around while a realization started to hit him.  Cia! ____________________________________________________________________________ The night had arrived earlier than ever and her fingers fidgeted with the threads of her jacket while the groan from her colleague made her sigh heavily. Turning her head away, her eyes still hung low while the staff members laughed and talked along with the soju and food upon the table in front of them. The restaurant is about to close but they did not plan to finish their drinks yet. Ordering more bottles, her friend wrapped her arm around Ara as Ara smiled at her as if she was paying attention to whatever she was babbling. But then, the silence took over her mind even though the noisy surroundings got louder. Checking the watch which was wrapped around her wrist, she bit her lip. It was already past midnight and she was sure that she had missed the final train today. Sighing deep, she forced a smile when her friend nudged her arm while giggling.  Time passed by as the restaurant closed and they left. Hand in hand, Seona looked at the guy she had just met in the restaurant before glancing at Ara. Guilty feelings slowly clouded her dirty mind, but then, his hand pulled her waist and soon, she felt his smirk against her nose. “What are you waiting for? Let’s go.” he whispered under his breath as her face leaned closer. Feeling her cheeks flush red, she looked over at Ara, who glanced at her. Pushing his hands gently off her waist, Seona sighed as she turned towards Ara. Walking closer, she looked back at the guy who stood there with his hands in his pants pockets. Wearing all black, he looked almost like a demon but, with dark pitch black eyes and pale skin, he looked like the perfect guy to hook up with at that moment. Something in him pulled her closer and closer and she couldn’t even remember how she ended up making out with him in one of the restrooms. Biting her lip, she watched his tall figure from afar before a hand on her shoulder startled her. She turned her head in front immediately before a smile of relief left her lips. “Oh, Ara.” Ara smiled softly as she held her wrist. “So, Let’s go? I have to leave early, Tom-” Ara got cut off when Seona built up her courage and spoke out the words she was hesitating to say. “You.. You stay with Tae.” she spoke, making Ara turn completely to her. “Seona..” Ara bit her lip as she looked into her eyes to see if she was joking, but her drunk and guilty gaze that met the floor made Ara blink while her trembling hand balled into a fist of nervousness. “A-Ara i-i-” “It’s fine.” Ara’s soft tone made Seona look up before her eyes met Ara’s. “You are not upset!?” she yelled as Ara softly chuckled before patting Seona’s shoulder. Turning around, Seona reached the guy before he held her hand. “Let’s go?” he asked with a smile, making her shy nod. Ara sighed as she stared at Seona who had already walked past the dark alleys. Giggles echoed and Tae-yun’s gaze fell upon her. Gaping at her eyes that looked so tired, he excused himself before reaching for his hands that trembled in sudden nervousness. Pushing them inside his hoodie’s pockets, he cleared his throat, making her turn her head around only to be startled by him who still stood a bit far,. “So, Uhm, I booked a cab.” he scratched the back of his neck as he spoke before she bluntly He with no expression upon her face. “No, I am actually taking the train so it’s fine.” She walked past him as he turned around the second he built up his courage. “But, the last train was at 11 o’clock.” he stated aloud but she didn’t stop her feet from leading her through the streets. Wearing nothing but a pair of sweatshirt and trousers, she seemed harmless, but he was not sure if it was safe to let her go somewhere alone. “Tae-yun!” He turned his head towards his friends who called him over. “C’mon, Man! We have only a few hours left!” sighing, he yelled back. “Go without me!,” he stared at her back before he completed his sentence. “I got something to do.” He watched her fade into the dark streets of Seoul and he left out a heavy sigh within his heart beat that had picked up–slowing down.  Looking around, she had no nervousness about everything she did. Handing the debit card to the receptionist, she bit her lips while her feet tapped on the surface of the floor—feeling impatience as the receptionist took longer than ever. Glancing back, the receptionist who continued to waste her time by staring at Ara made her sigh in defeat. “Is there any problem?-” she tried to ask when the receptionist dropped the car on the table, right in front of Ara. “Y-You card, Mam.” She spoke before nervously running towards the personal restrooms. Ara frowned before taking the key card for the room she booked. As she glanced back at the neon letters on the wall that said ‘ Berry Motel ’ she exhaled before walking towards the lift.  As she stood inside the lift, her eyes stared at the dark sky and gloomy sight of Seoul city. As she reached the 13th floor, her hand held the key before getting out of the lift. Looking around, she slowly checked the room numbers until she found hers. A sigh of relief, she pressed the key card to the scanner and soon the door opened, making her get inside, but as she was getting inside, someone’s eyes seemed to fall right upon her in concern. Hands getting out of his hoodie pockets, he excused himself from the manager and his bandmates and soon, he ran across the hall of the 13th floor to reach the door of her room. Her ruffly soft hair, her bright red lips and her weak and tired posture were a sure thing he used to see daily and now seeing her in a motel made his heart burst in confusion and astonishment. Feet speeding up its steps, he froze in front of her door. Heavy breaths left his lips and soon, he realized he was too tense and was already breathless. For a few seconds, he calms down his breath before his hand hesitantly knocks on the door. Stepping slightly back in hesitation, his breath stuck as he heard his own heart rapidly beating against his chest. As he bit his lip, feeling his body losing all energy, he huffed out heavily. But then, the door opened. His head shot up and her–I didn't know–gaze met his.  Breath heavy, he stepped closer as her eyes widened. “Ara?”  ____________________________________________________________________________
