SACRED LOVE : 59 1/2
As the glowing moon met her eyes, she couldn't help but hide her excitement. She slowly smiled away but then, her body jolted when he pulled her up in his arms. His grunt against her ear made her blink vigorously with her cheeks flushing red. Gulping, she secretly bit her lip and her eyes searched around the forest they were walking through. Another gulp, she looked up at him. His eyes didn't even glance at her. Cold and stern, he looked like an ice that could slit her apart if she dared to get any near. She heard his breath quickening and she knew that it was already been an hour since he was carrying her. As her lips poured at the thought, she soon brushed them off by shaking her head. Her injured arm was resting on his shoulder while the other one was wrapped around his neck. Shyly, she rewrapped her arm around his neck but it didn't budge his gaze from the path they were walking through. Sighing, she looked around again until his eyes fell on her. Her eyes glanced back. Hesitant, she continued to look around once again before he threw her in the air to hold her more comfortably and that got her heart almost dropping down her stomach. A yelp, both her arms clung onto his neck. His gaze over her face made her glare up at him. "Y–y-you-" She gave up as soon as her stutters worsened. Cheeks flushing red in embarrassment, she forced her small arms to wrap around his neck while his lips curved into a thin smile. Trailing his gaze off her face, he looked away while he tried his best not to smile. Just a glimpse of her flustered and boiling expression washed the anger off his mind just like that.
A small smirk on his face, he pulled her up into more of his arms, making her yelp once again before unconsciously yelling at him. "S…s..stop…i-i-it!" She exclaimed, but then he kept his serious act infront of her. "Then, stop wiggling around like a pup." Her ears blasted with red tint as she blinked vigorously—looking away in an instant. "I-i-i a-am n-n-not." As he watched her blush with that angry expression on her face, he grinned before doing the only thing she told him not to. Another yelp with and whimper, she glared at him. "D-don't…" as Zal took another second to tease her by adjusting her in his arms, she yelped and the next action she did startled him. Her arms unwrapped around his neck and her head hid in his chest. Fingertips on his chest got his breath pretty heavy and he felt his feet slowly trailing off to stop walking. The cold wind brushed the strands off her face and her hand was holding his shirt, which was unbuttoned till down his chest. Her head inside his shirt got his breath stopped for a moment. Her breath against his bare chest made his ears and cheeks flush with red heat. Biting his lip, he felt his organs dance like there's no tomorrow. "A-alright I-I will." His stuttery words made her peek out of his shirt she was clutching—enough apart for her face to hide in. His Adam's apple jumped up and sank down, indicating his nervous yet hesitant self. A blink, she smiled. "T-thanks." She got out of his shirt's space and wrapped her arms back within her legs kicking the air with a little joy.
His eyes averted from her face and he just wanted to bite her.
What the Fick are you? A dog now?
He internally whined at his thoughts and walked forward without wasting another minute.
If she keeps being my wife, I might. One day.
He wanted to slap off his thoughts but he bit his lip. The urge to scream and cry on the floor built from his tip to toe.
God, just shut the f**k up you p-pervert!
Her repeated taps on his shoulder made him hiss. "What, what what?" He said as he looked over at her face. A bright smile on her face, her lips looked so tempting for a second that he licked his own.
As the cat meowed somewhere, she glanced back at him with a smile but his gaze over her lips made her blink, confused. "O-oh, yes that's true." Cia frowned. "W-what i-is t-true?" Zal blinked. Once again, and his ears turned bright red in embarrassment. "Uh nothing!" He looked around to take another turn, but then, she stopped him. "N-No!" She held his collar, making him blink in shock. "A-ah my neck my neck!" She hesitantly let it go, making him look at her in an instant.
God, what's with her being so cute all of a sudden?
"We need to go home. Now." He breathed out, ignoring the dirty thoughts that were clouding his mind. Cia pointed at something before looking into his eyes. Her doe eyes made his heart stop beating like a normal one. Now, it has turned into beast mode.
"T-the p-pal-palace!" Her hand slapped his shoulder in frustration that raised with every stutter that formed in the words she spoke. Zal's eyes widened and he froze there. For a minute he wanted to cry, but then his crazy mind screamed in joy. For no reason, he smiled like a dumb and walked where she pointed. "P-palace? W..what palace?" He breathed against her ear, making her blush all over again. Zal couldn't help but realise it the next second and scream internally. The amount of embarrassment that took place today wasn't going to give any energy to his body. Biting his lip, he hid his flushed face and took quick steps. "T…the old p-palace, w-w-we-" she sighed but then, Zal hummed in realization. His humming voice made her glance at him from the palace. "Hmm! Now I remember it. Let's go there." His soft words made her stare at him. Gaping at him without even taking a second to blink got him hesitantly glance at her. Her sudden burst of soft laugh made his eyes freeze—not able to blink. Ears almost about to blast, he shyly laughed along. His hesitant laugh made her laugh even more. Her cheeks got rosy pink from laughing aloud. "Hey, what's so funny.." he nervously said when his feet reached the palace.
"N-n–n-n-"
She burst into more laughter when she heard her own stutters. They sounded like she was singing and Zal couldn't help but laugh along. "Wow, nice song." She laughed as her hand unconsciously grazed up his neck only to land on his cheek. His eyes averted and that's when he realised it. Her skin against his, the hand that was caressing his cheek was more than enough to be the reason why his heart dropped down deep to the corner. Within every breath she took while trying to control her laughter was admirable. Zal's cheeks flushed red when he saw her head lying against his chest while laughing aloud. Even after carrying her for more than two hours, his arms didn't ache due to how much warmth she sent to his body. The way she breathed, laughed and even the movement of her feet made his heart skip a beat. It was something he never felt,
And he hoped with all his might for it to be not what he thinks it is.
