SACRED LOVE : 59 2/2 The dark abandoned palace had its red curtains ripped but they still managed to cover the large windows from where the strong wind was coming through. As the stairs had its carpet dusty as hell, a gentle hand which held a blanket brushed the dust off the carpet. She sighed as the back of her hand wiped the sweat off her head. Glancing aside, she was surprised to see him walking in with his hand carrying a jug full of water. He glanced back, making her look away. Her nervous self slowly climbed up when a creak echoed in the halls. Zal's head shot up and he fumed with anger in an instant. Eyes closing, his hand on his waist and his fingers laid on his forehead. He raged towards her with such speed that she stumbled back. Picking her up in his arms, he immediately heard her squeal. "Eeek, W-w-what are y-you d-d-d-doing!?" She started to babble around until his gaze fell on her. Those cold eyes that held so much anger made her gulp. "I-i-i c-can w-walk-" "What, Are you gonna fall off the stairs now?" He softened as he exhaled deep. "Relax, you'll only hurt yourself." His mumbles made her head shot up to look at him before he placed her on the table. Her back leaned back as his breath fanned her cheek. His eyes averted towards her. His hands on her knees, he eyed her face. The sudden contraction got him intimidated until her feet made the heavy metal slip off the edge. Falling right on his feet, the metal had him almost scream. "F-fxck-" she gasped as she looked down at his feet. Immediately looking up at his face, she bit her nails. "s-sorry! I-i'm so-s-orry-" he hissed as he held his feet in his hands. Looking down, he huffed out while the pain worsened. Groaning, he let it go before standing straight. His back arched as he looked at her with his breath heavy. Taking a deep inhale, he pointed at her. "You." He breathed out, making her blink. "Don't you dare move a single muscle." He warned within his eyes, tearing up in pain once again. "Ah Fxck, why is she testing my patience?" He held his hair as he mumbled under his breath while her head hung low in guilt. Her lips pouted as she heard him walk off within himself cursing under his breath. Her pouted face soon became stern as she heard him cuss once again. She glared at his back as he took the blanket and kicked the carpet up the stairs. But after a few seconds, his feet were kicked against the rail of the stairs, making him let out a painful groan. Her eyes widened. Eyes wide, she blinked in shock. He held his feet once again while almost crying out, but then, his eyes widened. Glancing back at her in an instant, he found her back facing him ever so casually. Frowning, he bit his lip while she gulped down the lump in her throat. But then, she hid the laughter that was urging to burst out of her zipped lips. Keeping her hand against her mouth, she tried to control her laugh as he replaced the bad words with normal ones. Glancing back at him, she smiled. His hands on his waist, he searched around for something but her eyes were all over him. The way he just looked so handsome while doing literally anything or everything made her heart flutter. It wasn't something she could resist. Especially when he has his eyes off her. When he's not paying attention to her. When he's too busy to even take a glance at her. Her smile faded away as he glanced back at her and she looked away within her back, turning around, away from his sight. He breathed out heavily as he didn't hide the smile that slowly formed on his lips. He never failed to catch her eyes over him and this time, it was the same. He caught her. Right away. He shook his head as he noticed her fingers that fidgeted on her lap. I swear to god, her cuteness is responsible for my heart's death. Hiding his own smile, he cleared his throat as he kept his stern act out. "Cia." He called out, making her immediately get off the table. Running over towards him, her grin widened when he handed her the blanket. But when he took it back and adjusted it on the floor, her eyes blinked and the grin on her face? Well, it was nowhere to be found. She felt lost and didn't understand what he was doing. And that was also noticed right away. Zal let out a breathy smile. Sitting down on the blanket, he adjusted himself, making her stand there with her hands behind her. Her politeness made his heart pump out of the beats but then, he gently extended his hand. "Wanna take a seat?" His elegant behaviour made her eyes blink wide and she hesitantly extended her hand. Grabbing his hand, she sat down with her hands, pushing the dress down immediately. Her childish actions made him smile. "Comfortable?" He hesitantly asked as she looked around within her hands adjusting her dress. She immediately took a glance at him before a grin plastered on her lips. "I-t-s s-soft." She stated and she sighed in relief when her stutters got a little bit better. He hummed in response before taking her hand in his. Her head turned aside and her eyes met his. He slowly pulled up her sleeve, making her bite her lip to prevent any sound from slipping off. He glanced up from her hand. "Let it out." He mumbled as she blinked vigorously, feeling him blow on her wrist. "W…what?" She said within her eyes meeting his once again. Kiss me. No you pervert! Fighting over his own thoughts, Zal coughed with a slight hesitance. "You- ahem you shouldn't pressure it. If it hurts, you can…make a.." he scratched the back of his neck as a blush crept up his cheeks. "Sound." He finished and he was slapped on the face with another pair of dirty thoughts. God, leave me and my pure souk alone, you- "S-sure." She responded with a smile, making his eyes blink away from the dramatic tears. Wow, she actually didn't misunderstand. Thank god. He phewed and looked down at her wrist once again. Examining the cut, he breathed deeply. Taking her hair tie—which was a cotton ribbon, he slowly handed it to her. "Grab it. I'll clean your cut first. Or it might get infected." He mumbled, making her hesitantly nod. His eyes gazed deep at the cut while he cleaned the corners. Hesitating, he looked up. "Does it hurt?" She gulped and hesitantly shook her head. He sighed as he scooted closer. "If you don't tell me, how can I know?" He protested, making her look at the wrist. "u-uh… can I touch it?" "No." He immediately stated but she didn't seem to hear, and pointed out her finger making him blush. Her eyes gazed at her wrist as she slowly neared her finger to the cut, making his eyes go wide. "Hey, I said no!" She grinned like a child as her fingertip almost touched the cut until he grabbed it. "Hey I-i said no!" His hand shook the finger, making her eyes blink at him. "Why?" He eyed her face in shock. Hesitant yet angry, he furiously raised his voice. "Because I said so!"
