(Tyler's POV) It had only been three months but I knew the mistake I had made, not having Natalia with me was driving me insane, Esmeralda had tried to get into bed with me, but as much as I was in need she just seemed to turn me right off, she wasn't Natalia. Her father somehow was getting into my head, but that was because of all the things I was missing, the voice of reason, and caution. Joshua had been replaced by one of Dean's men, so I couldn't even confide in anyone, my businesses were up in the air, because something always came up. so the little I could do, was half assed. Slowly I could feel it, I wasn't caring about anything more then what was going on right in front of me, which wasn't much. Then like a breath of fresh air, the dancer in front of me suddenly made me FEEL, something I just couldn't ignore, but she didn't come when I asked her, and nobody could find her, then the next thing I was so tired and asleep. Then my wolf took over and he could smell her, and followed her scent, my heart jumped in my chest when we found her sleeping, but she ran from us and said she wouldn't take us back, that broke my heart, but then again I had done that to her. Broke her trust and her heart, but she saved my life in more ways then just one. She was truly my one and only mate, and I had just walked away from her, too chicken s**t to face the troubles head on As I watched her the men respected her as their Luna, but it made me mad she was flirting back with them. Once I was walking again, I joined training again, and this really helped me get back to the normal stuff, and soon Natalia just handled the business part of things just like before, but not completely. She wasn't my mate, and this was making me nervous, I didn't want any other male claiming her, I'd heard she had gone on a few dates with some of the guys, but they never talked about it, With Christmas around the corner, she organized a big dinner for the pack, about six glazed hams and mashed potatoes, and vegetables, with dessert. She even did a secret Santa for the kids, and gave a little extra clothes and food to the others. She really had a big heart, a heart that was broken not just because of me, I had over heard Nora say there was a bigger reason to Jasmine, but I never heard what. Then Christmas day we did the present thing, and when Jasmine went to check on Natalia, she wouldn't open the door. "What's wrong did she say?" "NO, and it's scaring me." We both went up and I noticed that even the crack between the door and the floor was covered, I knocked softly. "Go away, I'm not coming out!" "Honey what's the matter?' called Jasmine but no answer, I moved the towel Nat had place on the floor and a little of a smell hit me. I quickly pulled Jasmine away from there, as I tried to keep myself under control. "We better leave her alone, for now." "Why?" "Jas, she's in heat." "Oh, right, it took her a while even after..." She slammed her hands over her mouth not letting herself finish. "What, After what?' She looked at me with big eyes, and she walked away. I stood there stumped what was she about to say? "Go back, I want to smell her beautiful scent." "Weirdo." I said to my wolf as he replayed those times when Natalia and I were together, but I had to respect her, if I walked in there who knew what would happen. I went back to check on how things were going, mostly everyone was gone, and then I went to check on the women, I heard Jasmine, explaining something to Nora, and happened to hear my name, but what got my attention was the word baby. Then I really turned and listened closely to what was being said. "Jas, I know you want her to tell him, but it's not our place to say, poor girl just doesn't seem to catch a break." "Yeah, but he needs to know, that way he knows what his stupid decisions have gotten my best friend." I walked in and they both looked up at me. "What do I need to know?" Neither of them said anything, and wouldn't look at me. "I think you should ask Natalia that question." I glared at them and turned to go up stairs to talk to Natalia. (Natalia's POV) I slowly lowered myself into the cold water in the tub, I woke up this morning, over heating and aching like crazy down in my private area. Every graze with things had my body bursting with lust and need. I had a feeling that if I let Tyler in here, I would jump on him, so fast, and I so wasn't doing it if I could help it. I was in the water no less then a minute when I heard someone storm into my room closing the door tightly behind them, from the scent I was picking up it was Tyler. Soon he followed the scent around the corner into the bathroom where I was completely naked in the tub, but he wasn't distracted. "What is it that I need to know, what happened to you while you were gone?" My insides twisted in discomfort at his question, but I had to answer. "Give me a minute, I'll get out and explain." He walked away and I got out of the tub, slowly feeling myself going hot again, I grabbed my rob and followed him out to my room. "So, what do I need to know?' I sat on the bed closing my legs tightly that seemed to help a little. "I um...I was pregnant a few months ago, but I lost the baby." He froze on the spot, then came close to me, which I wish he wouldn't it was too much of a temptation. "When did you find out?" "Just after you kicked me out." Regret shone on his face, and he looked away. "You weren't going to tell me were you?' "Why should I Tyler, we broke up I was willing to have my baby to myself, you could have all the babies with whoever else you picked." "It was our Baby, Natalia, I would've wanted to be there for everything." "Yeah, a baby that would see his or her father every once in a blue moon, because there would've been more important things then him or her." "That's not fair." "That's what you said to me, Tyler, duty is more important to you then anything else more then me and if the baby would've lived, more then it!" He just looked at me, what I said hurt him but he knew I was right. "I'm a leader Nat, I can't just walk away from those that follow me." I looked up at him in disbelieve, was I being inconsiderate for wanting him to myself? I didn't think so but I guess only time will tell me if I was right. "And that's why i wasn't going to say anything, in the end it was just my problem, not yours." He took a deep breath, but nodded and walked out of my room, like nothing. I don't think anything between us was ever going to be the same, and right now it was just to help the pack back on it's feet. I went back to the tub and sat in there for a while. As if things couldn't get any worse, one day while Joshua looked in on the pack owned businesses a woman walked up to him out of no where. "Good, I thought I had missed you." "Excuse me?' "Joshua, right second to the Alpha Tyler White." Joshua looked around and lowered his voice as he spoke to the strange woman. "I don't know who you are but I'm not interested in what you're selling." "No, silly, I'm not selling anything but I do have a message for your Alpha." Joshua looked suspiciously at her, but told her to follow him out to the truck and he took her out to the village. "Wow, it looks spooky around here." "Everyone is gone to work, hardly anyone stays put." "Oh, I know it's a good thing, Tyler gave that chance to the women, to start working, it does help them find their own footing." "So what is it you need to tell our Alpha?" "Oh, it's no big deal, it's just that I have it understood that, there's still a pact to be dealt with and times a ticking." Joshua stopped the truck and he jumped out, to open the door for her, she was worse then a hyper school girl as they walked inside, she waited in the living room, as Joshua walked up to get Tyler from the office. (Tyler's POV) "Just come in Joshua!" "Tyler, there's someone here to see you." I looked up at him and I could smell a slight female smell. "What does she want?" "I'm not sure but I really think you should take it, she seems to know things." "Like what?" "Names and things that have changed in the village." That got my attention, nobody really knew about us, unless they were really digging. I got up and headed down stairs. The woman was looking at a picture of Natalia on the wall, as we walked in. She wasn't breath takingly beautiful, but she had a sense of power over her. "Witch." I said as I walked over to the sofa. She laughed in a giggly way. "You give me too much credit, Tyler, I'm psychic that's the only power I carry." "Let me guess you'll tell me the message in exchange for a generous donation." "Oh, no, I came of my own, the great spirits sent me a message, for you and..." "Natalia!" I called as she walked past us to go up stairs, she turned and saw the woman that was smiling from ear to ear. Natalia came back down an into the living room with us, taking a seat a bit away from me. "What's going on?" "We're about to find out I'm guessing?" "There are many endings to a s********e times ones we write and others, fate just made for it's self." My anger started to flare, what the hell was she getting at. "How do you know about the pact?" asked Joshua, that made me really pay attention. "They told me, you Whites were definitely in a hurry to close that deal, unfortunately a few things went wrong." "Like?" "Well, if your father had done it, Natalia would've been your cousin, not your love, and Natalia, hers was a peculiar thing the fall when she got hurt by her ex, should've killed her you wouldn't of seen her again, but the spirits have an other plan, they are giving you the chance Tyler." My anger was really going up now, who the hell did she think she was? "So What do you want besides pissing me off?" "Mmm, just to get things on the right track, you see your case isn't extraordinary but it messes with other things of the future, so I'm here to tell you that you haven't found your mate yet, Tyler, she's still out there and it's not too late to fix the end of this pact you made." Natalia got to her feet and we both glared at her. "I have my mate and if you continue with this nonsense then i will have you killed!" I was about to walk away when I felt my body freeze. I felt my brain telling my body to move but I didn't. Then I sat down, and I realized what was happening. "What the hell is your problem?" I thought to my wolf, he ignored me and looked at Natalia then back at the psychic. "I've kinda of always known there was something... off." "No Natalia is our mate, you f*****g traitor!" I thought to him as he said what he said." "NO, I like Natalia and accepted her because she's great but she wasn't my mate, Tyler." "You felt when I broke the bond!" "Yes, because I felt her loss, BUT she wasn't my mate, it didn't hurt the same as if she were our real mate!" My wolf turned to look at the psychic and she looked impressed. "Wow talk about having an internal crisis." "Who is my mate what is she like?' "It still takes a Gomez member of the family, or in this case a distant family member." We were all interested now.Natalia sat down and relaxed a little, but she seemed tense, I forced myself to relax and sat quiet. "What do you mean distant family?" asked Natalia genuinely curious. "Penelope had a young sister, once she took over the house, your eyes stayed on the Gomez in the house and forgot about the little Gomez outside of it. Anyway the sister had two kids one died at a young age and the other had only one daughter, they died a while back, while the girl was still in high School, the rest of the family never wanted anything to do with her so as far as she knows she has no other family, and Penelope never told her kids about their aunt." "What's the girl's name?" My wolf asked almost breathlessly. "Angela Cruz, I wouldn't tell you usually but, like I said times a ticking." "Where is she at a college or..." "Yeah, actually she was working and going to collage she hasn't decided what she wants to do yet, oh and she's a wolf." "What?!" we all said, or rather Natalia, Joshua, and my wolf said. "How long has she been wolf?" asked Natalia. "Two years, she was attacked a while back, it's worse but she can tell you when she's ready." I could feel the excitement my wolf had in going to search for her. "Where can I find her?" My wolf asked, Natalia turned to look at me, and I could see the hurt in her eyes. "She just moved to the city, not where Natalia lived with her aunt but one of the cities close to here, it's at least a four hour drive." I had to reel in my wolf because he was ready to run out the door in search of her and I wasn't going to let him that easily. "Let me go, Tyler I need to find her!" "Will you stop, you're not going anywhere, our mate is Natalia!" "Tyler," Natalia came over my wolf giving me back control," she's my family and she's alone." "Natalia, we can work things our, you is who I love." "Go find her." she said looking at me.I could tell she was really fighting with her choice, but she has a good heart. I kissed her forehead and nodded, I gave the orders to have a room prepared, then we headed out, the one farthest from mine, and with clean sheets and towels, then with the psychic we headed to the city The moon Goddess only knew how long that was going to take. (Angela's POV) "Hey, can you move out of the way!?' "Oh, sorry." I moved out of the way, as the person walked out with a dozen pizzas, it made my stomach grumble as I smelled them. "We need to eat." "Yeah, Yeah, I know, I still can't believe I let you convince me to move out here." "It just felt right okay, and besides it beats the city you were in before, there was no place to go really for a run without being found on some camera or an other." "True, but we don't know anybody here and we're only staying in the motel for this week." "I think by then you can find us a place to stay right?" I rolled my eyes, it's been two years ago that I got attacked by some guy, he was high or something and he bit into my neck, I thought I would bleed out and die but woke up the next morning with a second voice in my head. The wolf told me that she was willing to help me and show me how to protect myself and up until now has helped. After years of being alone, it felt good to have someone even if it was inside my head, off and on sense I was turned, I'd have dreams of a guy and a girl, my wolf would growl at them and I could feel her jealousy, she kept telling me that we needed to find the guy, but had no clue where to start looking. Then about a year ago said it was time to move, she said she was pulled in this direction and I have come to find myself in this city. I wanted to find a job, but also  a place to live, so I was looking around, but was finding nothing, or at least nothing affordable. I bought a large pizza on my way back to the motel and sat down to eat, thanks to the temporary foster care system I never knew what a real home meal was like, my parents died when I was  sixteen, in a car crash, I would've gone to live with my grandparents but they were gone too before I was born apparently. Then my father's mother didn't have a matural bone in her body some how my father survived her, but she didn't want me either. I wouldn't even if I was desperate she had a different boyfriend every other week. So here I was surviving the best I could, having to learn what life was on my own. I sat watching T.V. and felt happy when I finished my last slice of pizza. I thought back to how my life has been. I finished high school by pure luck, went to collage for while until I got attacked, then couldn't handle the noise and smells inside the classrooms, but have worked hard to get my money and thank God, for never leaving me out on the street. Then I remembered I was turning twenty-seven here soon, yeah a couple months but yeah, I was going to be twenty-seven. I curled up, soon fell asleep, and this time my dreams were loud and clear the guy's face was gorgeous, he looked very dark and scary, but when i looked at him he seemed to be in pain. "Mate." he said to me as he reached out toward me, when his hand touched my cheek I felt a warmth spread through me, it was so comforting and safe feeling. After I was attacked I couldn't stand being touched by anyone, but with him I craved it. "Angie!" I sat up and looked around, my wolf was in a panic. "What's going on?" I thought to her as I felt her worry. She shushed me and we looked toward the door, it was jiggling like someone was picking the lock. Carefully I looked out of the window, and I could hear some guys saying that they had seen me come in here alone. Great, I grabbed my bag and jumped out of the window, and got out of there. I was just breathing a little more freely when I heard foot steps right behind me I tried not to freak out, but when I heard them pick up, I booked it away, they were right behind me, when I got to a bridge and found that someone else was coming from the other direction, so I jumped off the bridge, landing like a cat in the dried up river bed and ran, but whoever these guys were they caught up to me in no time, now I was scared and looked up at the buildings and did what my wolf had taught me, I jumped up on the roof and hopped from building to building. They kept pace right behind me, then right in front of me there was one that was way to far, but I ran and jumped into the air, I could've sworn i was gliding for a second then I tumbled on the other roof and looked back at the others, they had stopped so I kept going. I jumped down and ran into a sewer tube, so they couldn't find me, I sat down as I felt my wolf really hyped up and trying to get out, I was panting and breathing heavy. So I sat down, shaking slightly both from fear and the adrenaline coming down. Slowly I let the relief wash over me but it was cut short when a black wolf dropped right next to me, his teeth bared and his eyes showing aggressiveness, I scooted away and he growled as if to warn me not to run. I don't know if it was the fear or what exactly but I blacked out and fainted.
