The Werewolf Next Door

(Natalia's POV)

The next two months was training and refreshing my memory of things, I had asked what had happened to Jasmine, Joshua explained she was one of the few on the inside, but nelson was reporting to one of our men here, so far they've been good.

I've had to prove myself for the position of their Luna, and over and over I proved to them what I was made of, Joshua taught me to phase and the first time it was super painful, but it was so liberating at the same time, running and hunting was a freedom I never thought I was missing, being naked in front of the guys got old quick, but I didn't make it a habit of walking right in the middle of them with no clothes, but if they saw me it wasn't a shock anymore. I also did it out of respect for the other women. I watched as the two that were pregnant grew and eventually had their babies, I felt so envious of them, but I supported them, and was over joyed for them.

One night I was looking out, when i felt Joshua come up behind me,  he has taught me so much in these two almost three months, my senses have been clearer and my instincts more at the ready.

"I just got some good news we might have the chance to move in, Tyler demanded a party for his in-laws and it's Jasmine's job to get the entertainment."

"I can only imagine, what that will be."

I said looking out at the night sky.

"You have exceeded my expectations, Natalia, I couldn't be prouder."

"I had a great teacher, thank you Joshua for not giving up on me."

He nodded and gave my shoulder a fatherly squeeze, more then my own father ever gave me, we were headed in two days. The excitement and nervousness was growing as we got things ready.

The day of we snuck into the extra bunkers, at the edge of the village, and meet up with Nelson.

"What's the news?'

"I don't know what exactly is going on but Jasmine, over heard the maids saying they were putting something in Tyler's food and drink tonight, I'm not sure what for exactly, but I don't think it's anything good."

"Okay, that will be Natalia's job to find out."

Nelson looked at me and offered a fist at me, I bumped it, we've never been big in hugging but he was glad I was here. The others were going to wait for the signal Nelson took me to where the women were and where Jasmine was getting things ready, when she saw me she ran to me and hugged me tightly.

"I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, Jas, but we better get moving, that's going to happen?"

I looked around and found a bunch of belly dancers.

"You've got to be kidding me."

"What, junior year  high school talent show, I thought i was a good idea, I want to see if Tyler still recognizes you."

"I doubt it but whatever, what am I wearing?'

She handed me a glimmery bustier, and a flowy long skirt with slits high along the legs and the fabric so see through, the skirt was pointless, it was a deep red and black chains and beads, she helped me into it and finished by putting a long blond wig on me and blue contacts. she then sprayed me with something, I couldn't smell anything for a minute. Then she finished by putting a small vale over my mouth and nose.

I moved with the rhythm of the music and Jas was impressed, then they called for us to go out, we all spread out and along the big hall of visitors and the music was booming, it wasn't hard to go with if, I rubbed up on a few guests and some getting a little grabby but otherwise the show was fun and entertaining. I could suddenly feel Tyler's eyes on me, as I moved my hips and all, Slowly I moved toward the high and mighty of them, the comments I could hear from Daddy dearest, was nasty. Both of them were looking in my direction, he was dismissing his daughter as a woman, and told Tyler if she wasn't enough then having a mistress wouldn't hurt, as I danced around them i felt their hands on me, but only Tyler's hands made me erupt in goosebumps, even when I was mad at him, I still loved him.

Suddenly he pulled my arm and we were face to face with each other. I could see the craziness in his eyes, he was still in there but only barely. His next words brought me back to reality.

"In my room right after this, or I'll have my men drag you there."

"Of course my lord." I whispered sensually and danced away, really getting him worked up by rubbing up on some other men, it the end I even went up to Nelson and gave him a peck on the lips, he froze but nothing more. Then when the dance was over all the women went back to the dressing rooms, before they came for me, I ducked out.  I could hear them ripping up the dressing room to find me, but I was already out side waiting for the right time,  all too soon Lily was singing on the way to her home, which was my sign that Tyler was already out cold, I quickly climbed up to his bedroom window, had to stop a couple times, so they didn't hear me, and when I got to the top I peeked in and found what's her face, ready to plummet a dagger into Tyler's chest, I pushed the window open fast and jumped at her, quickly knocking her out, she didn't put up a fight at all, then the signal was given the others could be heard in the distance, as screams and other sounds rang out through the village,  I took care of the door to Tyler's room and ran down stairs to help the other get in, soon we had a lot of the men either dead or under control, all the innocent were let go, to our surprise when they killed Dean the other Alpha, Rebecca begged not to be killed, for now they kept her and her daughter confined to a room.

Soon all the people that stood with Dean were killed and those willing to join us did, I told the others to keep a close eye on them, and I went to talk to the women in the guest room with Joshua right behind me.

Rebecca, just sat there watching her daughter, who hadn't come to yet, when she saw us walk in, she gave me a disgusted look. I hadn't changed out of my costume yet, but I took my seat and looked at her.

"So..what was the game plan here?"

"I don't know, he never told me anything."

"So your daughter stabbing her mate was a after thought?"

"No, I mean...Dean just wanted her to seduce him, and slowly take over, but the boy was too strong, as much as dean tried to push his own ideas, Tyler wouldn't have it, that's why he sent Esmeralda to kill him"

"I see, and what can you tell me about Mason?'

The women looked pale then at her daughter, I asked because when i tackled her she smelled just like Mason.

"I'm not sure."

"Mmm, well, I have a feeling he had a hand in what happened in this pack, he wants Tyler destroyed and your daughter smells like him which tells me he's involved with her."

I could hear Rebecca's heart beat pick up, and her hands started to get sweaty, I was right.She kept looking at her daughter.

"What's wrong with her, she should be reacting about now?"

I looked at Joshua and nodded he walked forward and checked Esmeralda's pulse.

"She's dead." Joshua said as looked at me then at Rebecca, she started to cry but didn't get anywhere near her daughter then suddenly she made a slow slicing motion across her neck, and she was bleeding. As I tried to put pressure on her neck, she just went still, both now dead.

"She rather die then face Mason alone."

"yeah, but that's because she knows he'll do worse."I said back to Joshua, as I closed Rebecca's eyes, told him to tell order a proper burial for them he left to do that, and I went to Tyler's room to check on him, he was still out cold.

I went to check what he had drank, it had been wolfs bane ironically, so he was going to be out for a while. I had Nora make a tea for him to counter the wolf's bane it was to help his body burn it faster. She did and we put it in a feeding tube and slowly poured it into his body, once done his skin was warm to the touch, so with Nora's help he had him down to his boxers and laid him uncovered.

"It would help if you slept next to him."commented Nora, I got to my feet and shook my head.

"No, I'll let him rest, I'm going into an other room to sleep, so thank you for your help."

She gave me a small nod and I followed her out, Jasmine was already walking toward me, with some clothes and I walked to one of the other rooms. Where I showered and sat on the bed. My part hadn't been big but I was tired so I laid back and soon was fast asleep. I have no idea how long I'd been asleep but it didn't feel long. I felt watched and then something heavy was over me, when I turned and looked up, I jumped.

"Tyler!"

"Mate." he said it wasn't Tyler it was his wolf, I ran out he tackled me to the floor, licking my neck.

"NO!" I screamed and pushed him off and ran out the door, he ran after me, where he tackled me again but right at the stairs, where we fell in a heap at the bottom. I didn't care I quickly got to my feet and ran but again he tripped me and jumped on top.

"Mate!"

"NO! I'm not your mate!"

He looked down at me, something must've clicked because he suddenly slumpted over and was still, then Joshua and the others ran out to see what was going on, when they saw me and Tyler, they guessed and carefully carried Tyler back to his room and I got back to mine, this time locking the door.

The next morning I got up and headed right to the office, there were papers everywhere, I organized everything and looked over somethings, when Joshua walked in.

"Hey."

"What's up?" I asked as I continued looking over some papers, a lot of this was wrong.

"Um, Tyler is down stairs and he wants to talk to you ."

I looked at Joshua and rolled my eyes, but put the papers down and walked out of the office. As we walked I asked if any sightings of Mason and to keep an eye out, right now was the best chance he had to attack. He agreed and explained  that all the men we spared were falling in line with the others, I liked the sound of that, by the time we got down stairs, I had given a little different orders which he agreed and left me to fill them. I walked into the same living room we had walked out  three months ago and he had broken up with me. I straightened my back and walked in.

He was sitting in a recliner.

"You wanted to speak to me?"

He didn't move, so I supposed he was asleep, but right when I was turning to walk out.

"You came back, even after everything."

I looked at him.

"I didn't do it for you, it was for my people."

He seemed to dis inflate, but when I was about to turn away he slammed into me. Pinning me to the wall, as he buried his face into my neck breathing in deeply.

"Is that your heart racing out of want or fear?"

I looked at him, his lips were inches from mine, but I pushed away.

"You made your bed now sleep in it."

" I rather have you in it with me."

I shook my head and walked away from him, and headed out side to take in some fresh air. He wasn't going to make it easy, but neither was I not this time.
