(Natalia POV)

As I sat in the check up room, now in a serious tone, the doctor sat down and waited for things to sink in. I was pregnant but I haven't...the reality hit me hard, but the doctor didn't offer hope.

"I know a baby is a huge blessing especially for our kind, but the sad truth is that with you being wolf, that baby isn't going to late, I'm surprised it's still alive even after this past full moon."

I took a deep breath and looked at him.

"I fought off the change, it hurt but now I realize why my wolf did it."

He looked impressed.

"That means you're strong, but you're just fighting the inevitable, if you were human I would much better give you hope for your baby but..."

"I've been a wolf for a little bit other three months, and I haven't phased why?"

He sat there thinking for a minute.

"Your mate, is he higher up on the chain of command?"

"He's...I mean he was an Alpha."

"Mmm, well, Alpha's can fight off the change with the help of their pack as can their mates, but for whatever the reason, now your body will be just like any other wolf, I suggest you make peace with this and next time be a little safer about things."

I took a deep breath, this wasn't what I was here to hear but I guess it was better then him sugar coating it. I thanked him and headed out to my car, and refused to cry for him, but I couldn't help crying for my baby, I would lose him/her by next month and there was nothing I could do to stop it.When I got back to the apartment, my aunt didn't push but by dinner I guess she couldn't hold it down any more.

"So what did the doctor say?"

I took my time to answer and chewed my food slowly and carefully then swallowed.

"I'm um..I'm pregnant."

She froze.

"Natalia how far did you jump into this?"

I very carefully let my wolf peek out at her, she jumped to her feet, but I didn't move even when my wolf wanted to pounce, she looked at me like she was seeing me for the first time.

"You're one of them."

"Yeah, Christen attacked me and I wish somewhat that's the only thing that happened that night but, then a rouge saved me killing Christen, but he didn't spare me, the guy I got involved with, he's werewolf too and he turned me, so I didn't die."

"Victor's son?"

That made me turn to look at her this was the first time she mentioned any of the Whites by name.

"Yeah, he had claimed me before so then he turned me."

Julie came back to the table and dropped on the chair, in disbelief.

"So if you two were together what happened, why aren't you with him?"

I chuckled bitterly, but I decided to come clean.

"Some stupid deal was made with an other pack, Victor arranged a marriage for his son, they came to make good on the deal, and he dumped me, to save his men from being killed."

 Julie now looked calm and understanding, then leaned over the table taking my hand in hers.

"I know that feeling, but at least he let you go, Um....Victot didn't want me to leave , he actually asked me to be his mistress, I was so close to saying yes, but then I realized what that would mean, for me as a whole and I ran, I never told Mom I just up and left, as far as I know he searched high and low, but they never found me, I also found out I was pregnant with his baby, but...I couldn't have that baby, so I did what I thought was best..But  now I wish I hadn't."

"You still loved him didn't you?"

"Yeah, I did, you should've seen me when I found out his new mate died, I wanted to come running back to him, but by then I knew I didn't belong in that world, so I stayed away, until Mom's funeral, I left that same day, because I knew he was watching to see if I came, thank God he didn't, then i heard he had died and I decided to come home, or close to."

"I bet if Joshua saw you he recognize you right away."

She laughed.

"Yeah, it was thanks to him I got away, he was the one that lead the search he found me, but never told Victor, he said he wanted to see his best friend happy but he had made the choice, now he had to live with it."

"Is that why you haven't married or anything?"

"The feeling of finding the one and then having them rip you out of their life, is so painful, I really didn't want to face that again, human or otherwise."

I held on tighter to her hand, as I tried not to cry, damn hormones.

"So what are you thinking, are you going to keep the baby?"

"I would love nothing more."

"Don't worry I'm here, sweetheart."

I nodded and she came around to give me a hug, I couldn't tell her that in a another months time this baby wouldn't be anymore, it sounds cold to just let the process to happen on it's own, but I can't bring myself to do an abortion, I wanted to hold on to the small piece of Tyler even if it's for a while.

As the days slowly went into the following month, I was scared and sad, at work I would apologize to my baby over and over, for being such a cold hearted b***h, then one day as I was getting out of work, I was walking toward my car one night, it was cold outside, so I didn't even bother looking around me who in their right mind would be out here at this time or in this cold, but all of a sudden I felt someone come up behind me and put a knife to my throat.

"give me your wallet, nice and easy."

Slowly I started to raise my purse up, when I turned and pushed him in the stomach, but at the same time I felt something in my stomach, and to my horror it was silver knife, I pulled it out as the ass hole ran off, empty handed. I fell to the ground as I could feel a ripping feeling in my abdomen, and then I felt a big amount of fluid, like when your period came, but with a lot of cramping, and pain.

"My baby." I whimpered and cried on the ground, then I heard someone walking toward me, then felt the person carefully pick me up. Before I could do anything they put me in a truck, and I was out.

When I woke up I was cramping really bad, and I could smell a lot of blood, I sat up when I saw the rags next to the bed, but then I heard the yelling and arguing.For some reason I knew I was safe.

"Hello?"

The arguing stopped and to my big surprise Nora came in.

"Nora?" She came to give me a hug and I hugged her back.

"I'm so sorry, Natalia but..."

I looked over at the rags and I gasped as the realization hit me hard, I tried to hold in my cries, but I couldn't. Nora hugged me tightly, as I cried. After a while Joshua walked in, so did Colby.

"What are you three doing here?" I asked in a raspy voice, and tears still falling down my face.

"We're here for you." said Colby.

"What for, I'm not of your pack anymore remember."

Joshua came and sat next to me, as Nora pulled away and sat on the floor.

"You've been more of a Luna to us then the doll that is siting in your place, Natalia we need you back."

"That's not my call, Joshua, Tyler made a choice, he wanted what was best for you, well..."

"But it isn't, Nat, that b***h has her daddy's men replacing us all, of the eight only like four of us are still in place!"

"Why is that my problem, Colby, I was kicked out!"

"But we all know that was wrong, Natalia, we couldn't stand up against Tyler's choice."

"But will now that he's slowly dying because of that choice?"

They all went quiet but didn't say anything else.

"Natalia, you're not heartless like this, why are you fighting it?" asked Colby, Nora gave him a dirty look.

"Oh, I don't know, he was on my case about us being together working s**t out, and how I was the best for the pack, then kicks me out like I was nothing, and just a few hours ago I had my BABY ripped out of me, so am I heartless, to not be a sucker for punishment, I don't think so!"

I yelled at Colby he ducked his head, my body was shaking from anger, tiredness, and anxiety.

"Let's let her rest." said Nora taking the rags with her and a bowl of something, I swallowed the whimper was about to make, who the hell was that guy, it was too much of a consequence for all of this to happen.

"Think about it..."

"Shut your mouth already, boy, before that woman rips your tongue out."

Joshua pushed Colby out of the room, and I had no choice but to lay down, and rest. All the while feeling the cramps and emptiness in my abdomen.

The next morning when I woke up I still hurt, but found some food and a note with a number. They had left me, I ate a little and when I got out of the place I was in, I realized it was just outside of the city, and there was my car too. Carefully I got in my car and headed back to my aunts apartment. When I got there, I took a warm shower watching the blood run down the drain. My thoughts on what they had said last night.

How bad were things really, that hey wanted me to help them? They considered me more of a leader then the barbie next the Tyler, I felt proud that I had touched them that much, but what could I really do? Once the water was running cold, I got out, and dried off, and got dressed. I took some painkillers and headed to work.

At the end of the day when I got back, I went straight to my room. My aunt came in and looked at me.

"Joshua called you didn't he?"

She nodded and walked all the way in and sat on the bed.

"How are you feeling?"

"Awful, I just want to sleep and never wake up."

"I know the feeling, but I imagine, they'd have nobody to lead them."

I looked at her.

"You can't be serious."

"Nat, you were turned, they learned from you, they liked how you lead them, they're willing to step over him and turn to you for guidance."

"So what?"

"From what Joshua told me, Tyler is going through the same thing his father did, he doesn't have you to keep him sane, he needs you even if he thought he didn't."

I looked at her, but didn't say anything.

"They are your people too, hon, they need someone."

I took a deep breath, but didn't say anything anymore. After a while she got up and left me alone.

THe next few days I was running into Joshua or Colby all over the place, from work to when I went to the grocery store, and so forth, until the day before full moon, Colby walked into the store where I worked, he was really flirting with the girl at the register, and soon he walked over to where I was folding clothes, like an ass he started looking through things and making a mess, I bit down, trying not to scream at him. Until He picked out some items to try and I pushed him into one of the changing rooms.

"OOO, this is one of my fantasies, but not with you, but we can make it work."

"In your dreams!"

"No in that case it would be in my nightmares, because if I ever went anywhere near you either Josh or Tyler are going to skin me alive."

"Do you ever shut up?"

He looked at me almost daring me.

"Shut me up."

I wanted to punch his teeth in, but right when i was, my manger knocked on the door.

"Natalia?!"

"Shit." I whispered and as the key turned, I grabbed Colby and kissed him, to my surprise he kissed me back.

"Natalia, what is the meaning of this?!"

"Oh, God, I'm so sorry ma'am, this is my boyfriend, and..and."

"I will not have this kind of behavior in my store, get out and don't come back!"

"The one time I'm doing it, you fire me but the ten times Lucy does it with your husband, she gets to stay, well, fine."

My manger stood mouth open and we walked past her, and Lucy at the register had gone two shades lighter. As Colby and I left the store.

"Hmm, that was fun, when are we doing it again?"

"When I get home, I'm washing my mouth out with battery acid." I said getting into my car and he in the passenger seat.

"Hey, it wasn't that bad!"

"I can see why Lily doesn't want to get anywhere near you."

He looked at me, and he turned his whole body toward me.

"What did she say something, is my breath really that bad?"

I had to grin, he just admitted he likes her, he seemed to realize it too, because he fell back on the seat.

"You say anything..."

"I don't think anyone would believe me."

We drove off to an address he gave me. It was a big house it looked run down on the outside, but in the inside it was somewhat well, kept, I called my aunt and told her, I guess I had made a choice, she wished me luck, after thanking her for everything I hung up and took the battery out of my phone, and in my pocket, then headed inside. Inside was all four pack members that had been kicked out, them and their mates. The woman saw me and ran to hug me, I hugged all of them back. Two of which were pregnant at least three months along, they both told me they had found out just after I had been kicked out of the house. I congratulated them both then turned to find, Joshua in the door way, with a proud look on his face and gave me a small bow.

"Where do we start?" I said ready for what was ahead.
