SELENE'S POV
"Are you sure you're alright, Selene?" Dela said as we sat in the back of the car, heading to Moonlight Pack.
That's right, you heard correctly. We are currently on our way to Moonlight Pack, and by we, I mean myself included. I had no way of escaping it, not after that meeting with Maryce. Or should I say meeting with Maryce and Amber.
"I'm fine, Dela, thanks," I replied to her question with as much of a smile as I could muster at this moment. Believe me, it wasn't much.
I didn't want to be here. I would have preferred to stay back at Night Crescent, waiting for everyone to be done and return. I'm not even an actual member of the pack, for goodness' sake. Why am I here?
