"Seriously, Selene, how long do you plan to stand there? Come on, let's go in. It's getting dark outside, and this is new territory for you. You can't just stand out here alone while everyone else is inside at the party," Dela said, and I nodded.
"Yes, Dela, I know. I know it's just... I just need a moment. Just a few more minutes to put myself in order."
I said, and Dela rolled her eyes as she huffed.
"You said that an hour or so ago, Selene. That's exactly what you said when we first arrived, remember? It's been over an hour, and you're still here. Is there something else happening that I don't know about? Is there someone in this pack that you're trying to hide from?"
