"Will everyone from this pack really be attending the party and ceremony in a few days' time?" I asked Allison, who snorted loudly.
"Of course not, Selene. That's just plain ridiculous. Do you have any idea how large this pack is? Do you know how many we are? It's literally impossible for the entire pack to travel to Moonlight pack just for some stupid birthday and swearing-in ceremony. Maryce normally just says that because she can't help herself, but in the end, she wouldn't even be able to tell who came and who didn't. There are just a couple handfuls of people she keeps an extra eye on during times like this, and those are the people who get in trouble when they don't show up. Like me, for example. Unfortunately," Allison explained, and I nodded in understanding.
