*Francine* Luna Rosa patted her on the head and that little bit of affection made her happy. She stepped away from Samuels mother and everyone found everyone staring. She shrugged and went back to her seat. Luna Rosa told them all to stand down. Francine looked up as Samuels mother. She had pulled out her chair and was watching her eat. She crossed her left leg over her right and crossed her arms. "So... Samuel, why did you want to see me?" Francine coxked her head to the side. "Because your my mummy, and I had an accident at school, oh and I also missed you." Luna Rosa sighed. "Samuel, you must have hit your head pretty hard. You haven't called me mummy in a few years, and you also know how important mine and your father's work is to the survival of the pack." Francine looked down at her plate, and was holding back tears. She asked Alaric, how does Samuel live like that, when his mother treats him like that? And Alaric whimpered. Francine clenched her hand around her fork. She defiantly looked up at Samuels mother and growled. "You are my mother! That's what you are! Your supposed to care about me!" It was Luna Rosa's turn to growl. "And you are my son! You do as your told!" The combined Alpha growls of Francine and Luna Rosa had everyone around on edge. Luna Rosa clenched her jaw. "Samuel, after you've finished your dinner, you are here by confined to your tent untill school on Monday." With a final gesture, Samuels mother stood up and stormed out of the mess tent. Francine was surprised by how much power she could now weild in Samuels body. Was this what being a real Alpha felt like? She then went back to thoughts of the argument with Samuels mother, huffed and crossed her arms. "And I thought my grandpa's a stiff one...geez." Alarics ears pricked up. "Who is your grandpa?" Francine put her fork down and began to explain. "Oh he's a grumpy old man, now that he's retired. My daddy took over as the Alpha of the moonlight pack. Many people are scared of him because of his grumpy moods." She giggled. "Mummy told me she wanted to run away the first time she met him." She pushed her plate away then stood up. The other warrior wolves also stood up and saluted her. She paid them no mind, just waved them off. "Guess we'll go back to Samuels' room then. Hey Alaric, what do you think we can do about Samuels parents? My mummy and daddy love me and are around whenever I need them. Samuel should have the same thing. We all need our mummies and daddies to be happy. I feel sad for Samuel." Alaric pranced around in her head. "You are very smart for a five year old." Francine giggled. "Why thankyou, and your a cute Wolfy." She skipped back to Samuels' tent. The packs Beta was following along behind. Francine rolled her eyes. As she stepped into Samuels tent, she shut the flap and zipped it up, poking her tongue out at the beta while doing so. "Poor man, he's like a babysitter." Alaric shrugged. "To him, it's an important duty looking after the packs future Alpha." Now it was Francines turn to shrug. "Ok Alaric, I get the saluting part. What else do I have to do to fit in around here?" She suddenly became very determined. She was going to change the packs attitude towards Samuel so she was working on a plan. Alaric wagged his tail in interest. "Well Samuel usually keeps to himself. If he needs anything he usually asks the Beta. As you can see it's quite tiring if you wander around the camp, it's all salutes and stiff greetings..." Francine scratched her head. "Let's write them a letter!" Alaric suddenly got a feeling of foreboding but he had no choice but to follow the little human. Francine took out a piece of paper and a black pencil. "Alaric, what does Samuel call his parents? Clearly not mummy and daddy.." Alaric sat and tucked his tail behind him. "He calls them Alpha and Luna, line all the other warriors do." Francine sighed. "It's so...cold. but ok." She picked up the pencil in her right hand. It felt weird because the muscle memory had her holding the pencil in the correct way. With her usual little hands, her crayons could only be held in a fist type grasp whenever she wrote, and her writing was always clumsy. She cleared her throat. "To Alpha and Luna. As the future Alpha I want more love and care from you. I feel like you don't love me at all. If this continues, I'm running away and joining my...." Francine stopped. "Alaric, what did you call me when we first met?" He wagged his tail in happiness. "Mate?" Francine nodded. "Yes that it!" She continued her letter. "Joining my future mates pack, the moonlight pack. Love Samuel. X X" she proudly looked at her letter. Samuels handwriting was very neat, not like hers at all. She folded the letter in half and gave it and the roll of sticky tape to the Beta. "Mr Beta Sir, As your future Alpha, I command you to stick this on Alpha and Lunas tent, and do not look at what is written in it!" She crossed her arms for emphasis. The beta bowed and ran off to do as he was told. Francine looked down at Samuels body. "Wow, he has so much power as an Alpha. My little body can't do that." She pouted. "Maybe Grandpa was right. I'm going to be a useless human..."
