Maddies Day
Finally, i got a day off. These past few weeks have been killers. I have been in court three out of my five day week. But I must say it has paid off. Nathan has no idea how much bonus money I have made this month. That house fund is growing rapidly. Someday, I will have a small, quiet house. And no, I don't want a white picket fence as it crosses my mind, and I laugh out loud.Maybe today I will treat myself to a day out.
" Maddie, Nathan hollers as he enters the bedroom. Good morning, my sweet wife. What's on the menu for today? "
" I think I will do a spoil me day. Do you want to join me. Maybe even go to the spa. "
" Nathan laughs, no thank you. You won't catch me running around in those little towels with green goop on my face. I will pass. "
