The Rejection
Two days have gone by, and there is no word from Wendy. I kept looking at the paper she gave me with all the listing and pictures. There are some mighty beautiful homes. All sizes to fit any family's needs. My mind kept going back to the O'Malley house.
" Okay, Maddie, it's time to get your ass in motion. Pick a house and get over it."
Thank goodness the neighbors can't hear me. They would think I lost my mind. Candy has called several times to check up on me. I guess I need to make a decision. our new positions will be starting soon.
" Oh, why did I agree to this? Now I am having second thoughts. "
Packing up the items I don't need in my office occupied me for a while. Sitting at my desk deep in thought, my door opens.
