“Thank you so much for coming guys,” Bianca said once we were all standing around the kitchen island. I couldn’t take my eyes off the feline she held in her arms. It was late and I had been busy all day in preparation for the possibility of war. When Bianca had called, inviting me over, I hadn’t been all that interested.
