“I will arrange for a meeting with His majesty” I told them walking out of the room without thinking twice.
It was early morning and I could hear the birds chirping in the trees, I hardly slept through the night I woke up and went straight to the Throne room and requested to see the king, I hadn’t even had my breakfast cause I lost my appetite since I came here
The doors slowly opened as they allowed me to pass through,
“Greetings Your Majesty, I would like to have a word with you” I said looking at his son, it seemed like they were discussing something very important,
“you may excuse us” he told everyone who was in the room, I saw Charles Bow his head and everyone was leaving,
“Your majesty, it seems I will be going back to my kingdom earlier than I expected” I said after seeing there was no one else apart from the two of us in the room,
“Is Everything alright Prince Aiden” He asked
“Yes, everything is perfectly fine. I just have something urgent to attend to. May I please plea with you that you move up the date of the wedding?” I asked him,
“Well, Prince Aiden I do not think I have any objection to that seeing that you were the one who decided on when the ceremony would take place” He answered me
“If I may your majesty, Princess Katherine might not be too happy about his if you could please speak to her as it seems we got off on a bad note with her” I added
“When would you like the wedding to take place? He asked
“In two days’, time, as I will need to plan my trip back on the third day” I told him,
“Very well, I shall speak with Princess Katherine” He said
“Am very grateful your majesty” I bowed my head and walked away
I found Neil and asked him to organise a meeting with Ella I needed to see her,
“If I may your highness, I would advise against that” Neil said, I looked at him without saying a word and he simply nodded, showing that he would do it.
Thinking about Ella I wanted to know why she could not show up that day, I waited for her looking like a fool but she dared not show up. I waited 7 years just so I would hear the reason I was not going to let this pass me by, I walked to my guest bed chamber which was assigned to me and found Billy waiting for me.
“Your Highness I have been waiting for you” He said
Aiden: Make it quick am not here for long.
Billy: It looks like there is a reason why King Madsen desperately wants the wedding to take place.
Aiden: Go on>
Billy: It looks to me that the king is aware of the golden mountain treasure and this marriage is a passage for him to have access to the treasure.
Aiden: Is the princess aware?
Billy: It might seem so. That’s the reason why he requested that part of the Princess’s royal guard will come from his finest knights.
Aiden: Make sure you find out more about the king’s intention and let me know. Have Conor trail prince Charles, see what he is up to. Assign another person for princess Katherine, I want to know what they do, talk about or dream about. Are we clear?
Billy: Yes, your highness,
He bowed his head and walked out of the room

“Father I hear you called for me” Princess Katherine asked
“Yes, my dear Katherine. Take a sit” King Madsen said
I looked blankly at him not knowing what he was about to say to me.
“You look exactly like her when I first met her” He began,
“Oh! She was so beautiful! I remember her like it was yesterday, she had a pure and kind heart, many people never believed when they heard of our marriage, some said it was because of the wealth and power she possessed that I was after, they could not believe that a cruel man like me would be loved by a kind woman” he said,
“But I thought it was an arranged marriage?” I said
“Many people said that it was just arranged as I was the opposite of what she was, I promised your mother before she died that I could protect you but because of my Thirsty for power and greediness am marrying you to the wrong person” King Madsen said very emotional
“Father I do not understand you” she said looking confused
“this marriage is just for us to get the treasure that lies in the Golden Mountain, it was never about us helping the Irish, our kingdom is not doing so well with Prince Aiden as King and you as queen we will be stronger together, with the darkness that has be fallen us we will need you to be there. I believe no harm will come to you because I will be assigning highly trained knights to accompany you” he said,
“This is the only way to defeat Great Britain, with that treasure we will be able to get weapons and have enough for everyone, we will get more people join the royal guard” he said
“So, this was never about what prophesy?” I asked with tears rolling down my face
“The Prophesy is true, but for it to be fulfilled we also to have enough treasure to create weapons in readiness for the war ahead of us” He said
I Sat down there tearing rolling down my face, I could not believe that he planned things like this, I knew very well that the knights he said were coming with me were trained to assassinate
“Are you going to kill Aiden once he becomes king” I asked
“That is the only way, if you become Queen everyone will bow down to you” he said
I stood up and headed for the door, “This is for your own good” He added on
I just walked away without saying anything.
How was I walk down the aisle knowing too well the man am getting married to was going to be killed once his crowned king,
I could not disobey my father neither betray him, I liked him since we were young and what I felt for him I knew it was love.
