I desperately went looking for Prince Aiden, I looked all over and could not find him.
When I reached the back down where his knights were given shelter, I wanted to enter the room when I saw him having a conversation with Ella like they knew each other, he held both her hands I did not understand what they were saying but when he kissed her, I clearly knew what it was.
I saw Ella kiss him back and my heart was shattered into pieces, how could she? But why her? I asked myself questions.
“Am sorry Miss but you cannot be here” I heard a voice behind me, which startled Aiden and Ella,
When I turned around, he realised it was me, “Apologies my Lady I didn’t realise it was you” Sir Neil said whom I assumed was his close friend.
I looked at Ella and saw tearing rolling down her face, I hastily left the room and headed out, I could hear Ella rushing after me “My Lady it is not what you think please I can explain” I heard her say behind me.
I reached my room and I could still hear her plea out my bed chambers
“I can explain my lady” She said again and again with sobs in between. But how could she be the woman to come between me and Aiden. She knew very well about my feelings for him, even though I tried to make it look in front of everyone like i didn't care about him.

I opened the door with a pale looking face, i had cried enough now i needed to hear her say it,
She lifted her head up
“you have 2 minutes to explain and to get out of my sight” i said without aby emotions to my voice.
“I met him 7 years ago when you had sent me a to get herbs for making Martha's medicines” she narrated how they met and when she discovered years back she let go of him.
My ears couldn't believe what they were hearing,
She said she had moved on but here she was kissing with him.
“If all you are saying is true, why didn't you come to me when you found out?” I asked her
“I tried to, so many times but I just couldn't bring myself to do it” she said
“And now, do you love him?” I asked her, she only kept quiet.
“He asked that I meet him in person today, I swear I have only met him once since he came here” she said, I could see her sincerity in her eyes but I would not let her stay
Here I was worrying about him but he had someone else in his heart.
“Please forgive me” she said
“Forgive you? You betrayed me” I said
“I took you in when no one stood up for you, I fed you, treated you like a friend and you dare look at something that belongs to me?” I said not recognizing myself
“Am forever grateful to you, I would lay down my life for you” she said with
“Then leave and never return here, you are banished” I told her,
“My lady, please I have nowhere to go, I have no family to go to. My life is here” she said while sobbing, my heart ached hearing her sob, I walked away from there and went down stairs.
I needed to be alone, but where would I go?

Ella's POV
I was on the way to my quarters when I met Sir Neil i bowed my head and moved on.
“What did she tell you” he asked me
I looked at him before I answered
“She’s a very good person with a good heart and pure soul, but I, the person she trusted most has betrayed her, I will certainly miss her” I told him
“Did she banish you?” he asked
“I deserve this and more” I added
I further proceeded to my quarters to pack up my things”

I was having my dinner alone, “I may not know what exactly happened but don't you think you are being harsh on her” I heard Charles say as he joined me.
“Well I would have had her stoned to death but I only banished her, and I think I was being kind” I said to him,
“This is not you, my young sister would never act harshly like this” he said
“Well brother, I believe you don't know me well enough.” as I stood up, I bowed my head and before I started heading back to the garden.
“I see you are not as good as everyone else perceives you” I heard Aiden say in the corridor,
“My apologies for disappointing you, Prince Aiden it seems we are all who we thought of about each other” I told him as I turned around to face him
“Now if you could excuse me, I need to get back to where I was going “
I felt him pull my hand and pushed me against the wall,
“If she leaves, this wedding is not going to happen” he said,
I laughed at his threat.
“You dare threaten me because of a nobody? You need this marriage more than i do” i told him
He only chuckled at my statement.
“Is anything funny Prince Aiden?” I asked him surprised at his behaviour
“You need too this marriage just as much as I do. I know about your father's plan to steal our treasure, now Ella is not going anywhere” he told me more like a command,
"Let go of my hand" I told him and he let go of my hand and started to walk away.
“and another thing princess Katherine, she will be my personal helper. If you are not happy about it, I would advise you speak to your father the King because I already got his permission”he proudly said,
I could feel my ears fuming with fire.
How dare he threaten me because of a maid?
How could he still defend her in my presence?
What was wrong with me? I asked myself questions,
