Chapter 18

“The reason I am coming to you for an alliance is because I see you three as a Class F threat.” I started. “Class F? That’s it? Then you must not have done your research.” Brandon laughed. I gave him a look that got him to shut up real quick. “No, we did do our research. But being thought of as a threat, by my organization, is something you don’t want. I am giving you a chance to become an ally, because all our threats, get eliminated.” They give each other looks, gauging how they were going to respond. “And as an ally, you will have more protection, more possible clients, and access to more weapons, whether it be guns and artillery, or a new, high-speed computer, that is specifically designed for taking down high-security firewalls and other things like that. I wouldn’t really know, because I’m not into the tech side of it and have other people create new tech and supervise this stuff.” This new revelation got their gears turning, coming up with ways that this would benefit them. “Alright, where’s the caught?” Shayla, a.k.a. Blackweb, asked, clearly suspicious. “The only thing that you have to do is not attack the organization in any way, shape, or form. We’ll let you know who we are so that no conflicts arise.” With one more glance around the table, Shayla stretched out her hand and said, “Deal.” We shook on it and I went back to eating what little food Zach left for me. “So just to let you know, someone will show up at Kay’s house this evening at 4 p.m. for you guys to officially accept the alliance. You can read through it, but I promise that I didn’t add anything or have anything to trick you guys. And I stand on my word.” The end of lunch bell rung and I gathered my stuff. I threw away my trash and gave Z a kiss on his cheek. We went on our separate ways, me to Calculus, and him to Biology. I was kinda hesitant to let him out of my sight. Ok, I was practically dragging myself away from him, but I knew that he would be alright and I was just being overprotective/possessive. I had to survive three periods without him. Separating a newly found mate from an alpha can never lead to anything good. This is starting to look like a really, really bad idea.
