Chapter - 10

(3rd person P.O.V.)

Ronnie gets inside the car and follows Collen while calling Olivia to inform her about his plan.

"Hello, ma'am, you are right. Collen is the one who is smuggling drugs and weapons in Mr. Adams's company, and now he is planning to kill Mr. Adams to take him out of his way. He had ordered one of his men to find a snipper for him. And he is not the only one who is involved in this matter; other employees are involved in this," he informed her.

"Do you have any idea when he is planning to kill Mr. Adams?" Olivia asks him.

"No, ma'am," he said to her.

"Okay, then keep following him. Update me if you found out any other information about him, and send me the photos of every person who comes in contact with him," Olivia said to him.

"Okay, ma'am," Ronnie said to her.

"Where is he now?" Olivia asks him.

"I think he is heading towards the port. I think," Ronnie said to him.

"Okay, inform me if he had back to his house," Olivia said to him and hung upon him.

"Hello, Aman, I want you to send all the contact information of Collen Adams and all the contact information of the person he called and received calls from within a day. Do you think you can do that from me?" Olivia asks after calling one of her colleges.

"Sure," Aman said on the other side of the phone.

"Thank you, Aman," Olivia said and hung upon him. Olivia grabbed her car keys, phone, g*n, and master keys from her case and drove to Collins's apartment. It took 15 minutes for her to get there because she didn't live far away from him.

I get inside the building, press his floor no in the elevator. After a few seconds, Olivia reached the 10th floor and looked around her surroundings to ensure no one watched her.

*I am a detective, and I feel like a thief for sneaking inside someone's house like this. I will double my charges for doing this case* Olivia thought while unlocking the lock with her master. Olivia checked her surroundings once again before entering his apartment.

After entering the apartment, Olivia first checked for cameras and made sure no one was home.

*Thank goodness; there are no cameras in the house; it would take a good amount of time to disable time if there were any, and I would not have much time to search for other evidence and information. * Olivia thought while looking around the living room. It was a spacious apartment, as expected from the spoiled brat, walls were decorated with soft grey damask wallpapers, an 80" inch T.V. was on the right-hand side of me, with stairs going upstairs in the corner of the room.

Olivia climbed the stairs and checked every room, trying to find his office, and after going through 4 rooms, she finally found it and walked inside it. First, she goes through all the files on his computer to find anything valuable but all in vain. It almost takes 15 minutes for her to break the password on his computer.

*Of course, he didn't keep anything here in his office, just in case one of his family members decided to visit him find about his deeds, he must have stored all the information on his personal laptop, I will look into it after I arrest him* Olivia thought while going through the drawers of this office.

* It's almost an hour since I invaded his apartment. I better leave before he decided to come home,* Olivia thought while looking at the clock. She made sure nothing was out of place so that the apartment owner didn't suspect anything was amiss and leave the apartment.

After reaching her apartment, Olivia calls his boss to inform him of everything she found about Collen.

"So, what are you planning to do?" David asks her.

"First, I was planning to appoint someone to guard him 24/7, without informing him about it, and wait for Collen to make his move, and then arrest him on the spot," Olivia said to him.

"Don't you think we should tell Roy that his life is in danger?" David asks her.

"No, if we tell him, he would ask too many questions and tighten his security, which will arouse suspicion in Collens mind, and put him in even more danger. We don't know when he is planning to make his move, and it would be safe to gather more information on what he is planning to do and then make our move," Olivia said to his boss.

"Okay, do as you please but make sure nothing happens to him. If his father found out that we didn't do anything to protect his son even after knowing his life was in danger, then both of our life would be destroyed by him." David warned her.

"I promise that I won't let anything to him," Olivia said to him.

"Good, update me if you find something else," David said and hung up on her. After talking with her boss, Olivia called another security agency and told them to guard Roy in the shadows.

While at the same time, Ronnie follows Collen to the port and takes photos of all the people who come in contact with him. While doing it, he also found out his secret office, where he is keeping all the information regarding the people involved in the illegal information, and called Olivia to inform her.

"Good, email me all the pictures and send someone to keep an eye on the port to finds out when the port is empty. I will go there and raid his office," Olivia said to him.

"Yes, ma'am," Ronnie said and followed her instruction. After receiving the email from him, Olivia opened the mail and checked it. Feeling tired, she closed the laptop, ordered pizza for herself, took a hot shower, then fell asleep after eating her Dinner.
