Brooke “Sounds like something Vidal would do. You know he likes to be a hero.” “Is it not possible he just wanted to help that little girl have a better life?” Hawk rolls his eyes and wraps his arms around me, bringing me into his tight embrace. “I love you more than anything in this world, Brooke. Your beautiful heart amazes me.” I giggle and snuggle into him. “I love you, too, Hawk.” I look up at my man, stroking his beautiful face with my fingertips. Being as good-looking as my man should be illegal. “I can’t wait to marry you. I can’t wait to have your baby.” “You already had my baby.” I slap his chest and laugh. “You know what I mean.” “I do, and I can’t wait either.” He leans in and kisses me. He kisses me so passionately; I know we’ll be fuckin.g any moment. Hawk grabs my ass in his hands, pulling me against his erection, and I feel my clit swell. “We can’t do this right now, Gabe is in the room.” Hawk smirks at me while looking over my shoulder. “He’s sound asleep, and we’ll be quiet.” I open my mouth to protest. I’m not comfortable having se.x with my son in the room, but Hawk shuts me up with a kiss worthy of an Oscar. God, how am I ever meant to say no to this man? I slide my fingers into his long hair and pull him closer. His hands slide under my shirt, hands heading towards my aching breasts. Maybe we shouldn’t be doing this here at the clubhouse, but neither of us seems to be able to stop this. Since the first time we were together after the six weeks were up, we haven’t gone a day where we’ve not made love and fucke.d all at the same time. No matter where we are, we can’t seem to stop ourselves. It was always like this with us. We never could keep our hands to ourselves. Hawk pops the button on my jeans just as the door knocks. The spell is broken, and I want to strangle whoever the fuc.k it is! It was stupid to think we wouldn’t be interrupted when the place was packed full of people. “Who the fuc.k is it?!” Hawk yells. “Aidan!” I groan as Hawk kisses my head. Then I giggle as he adjusts himself in his jeans. Poor guy must be so uncomfortable. I know how big his dic.k is, and I can only imagine how his erection is aching right now. “Come in!” He yells. Aidan walks through the door like he owns the place. I stand in front of Hawk with my arms wrapped around his waist and my head on his chest. He holds me protectively and asks Aidan, “What the fuc.k do you want?” “I know you guys were busy; I can smell it,” I startle as Hawk growls at Aidan. Inside, I’m laughing that the man can smell the hormones in the air. “But there’s some woman here asking for Brooke.” “What woman?” Hawk asks Aidan. “Some blonde. We checked her for weapons and wires, but she was clean, so Jett told us to let her through. She’s in the main room waiting and said she’s not leaving until she sees Brooke.” I swallow hard. I’m not scared as such, but I have no clue who would have come here looking for me. I haven’t spoken to my best friend in longer than I can imagine. She moved away while I was locked up at the farm all those months. She hasn’t “Did she give her name?” I ask while wrapping my arm tighter around Hawk’s waist and turning to look at Aidan. Hawk wraps his arm over my shoulder. I always feel safer when his arm is around me. “She said her name was Marnie.” I’m pushing past Aidan and running through the corridor faster than anyone can blink. Hawk doesn’t have the chance to stop me. Nothing could stop me right now. I can’t believe this; my heart is pounding so hard I feel a little sick. My stomach is tightening, but I’m not scared. There’s no way Marnie would ever come here to hurt me. Even if Hank forced her, she would come and tell me exactly what he wanted with the intention of keeping me safe. I know she would lay her very life on the line for me, that I will never doubt. But I cannot believe she’s here! All the thinking and planning for a way to see my sister, and here she is, wanting to see me. I could just cry with happiness! I rush into the main room and instantly spot her standing with her back to me. Her long blonde hair is braided down her back. Her curves are covered in denim jeans, and a black jacket covers her arms. I can smell her expensive perfume from here. “Marnie!” She turns just in time to catch me. Arms wrapped tightly around each other as we cry. I never thought I’d see her again, and I don’t care what brought her here; I just know that she is here — my beautiful big sister. “I’ve missed you so much!” I sob down her ear. “Shh.” She rubs my back and kisses my cheek. I pull away from her and giggle as she wipes the tears from my eyes with her thumbs. “Did Hank send you here looking for me?” “No, sweetheart. I came here looking for you to make sure you’re okay. I knew this is where you would be after Hank yelled about the man you’d fallen in love with and how you’d run off to shack up with him with the child you gave birth to. I can’t believe you had a baby, and I am so proud of you for fighting for your little boy, Brooke.” I blink, emotion burning my nose. She’s proud of me. My big sister is proud of me. “I could do it because of all the lessons you taught me in life, Marnie. I could do it because you showed me that we’re all the same inside.” She cups my face with a proud smile on hers. “That’s because we are. You look amazing, Brooke. Motherhood suits you.” “Thank you.” I laugh. “Does Paul know you’re here?” I know that Paul doesn’t know Marnie is here. He would never have allowed her to come anywhere near this place. He would have killed her first. So, I don’t know why I asked the question. Marnie shakes her head with a slight smile on her face. She need say no more, I know why she said nothing to that pig. “Would you like to meet my family?” “Oh, I would love to!” I take Marnie’s hand in mine and lead her over to where Hawk is watching us. He’s standing beside the bar with his father and his brother. Some of the others are watching us, but they don’t approach us. This has nothing to do with them; this is between my sister and me and her meeting my new family. We come to a stop in front of Hawk, a smile on my face. He smiles at me. “Hawk,” I grab his hand with my free hand, and he squeezes gently. He knows there’s no threat here; my sister and I look too much alike for him not to recognize her. “This is my big sister. Marnie, this is Hawk, my fiancé.” “It’s nice to meet you.” My sister shakes Hawk’s hand. “Pleasure to me you, Marnie. I’ve heard a lot about you.” “Oh, my goodness,” She chuckles. “Nothing bad, I hope.” “Not a thing,” Hawk assures her. “Brooke speaks highly of you.” She looks at me with a smile on her face. I smile back and introduce her to Jack. “This is BlackJack, Hawk's father.” Jack winks at her with a smile, and Marnie blushes. She blushes a lot when men wink at her. Sometimes, I wonder if it frightens her in case her husband finds out. He’d beat the hell out of her because he’s a pig like that. One day, I will get her away from that man, or I’ll die trying. “And this is Wrench, Hawk’s younger brother.” Wrench takes my sister’s hand and kisses her knuckles. “Pleasure to meet you.” I can’t help the laughter escaping me. He’s flirting with my sister! “Back off, Wrench,” I laugh. “She’s a married woman.” “One who is dying to meet her nephew.” She’s so excited. Well, until CueBall leans over the bar and puts his two cents in, which he has no right to do!
