A Best Friends Advice

Andrew's POV

I could not help but sigh with relief hearing her reasons for wanting to avoid her mate. Mainly because I knew that she didn't really hate the idea of having a mate in her life but feared the meaning of the responsibilities that followed with finding your mate. I know together Devon and I can help her overcome her fears together so that she will fully accept him as her mate. While thinking about everything I decided to text him and ease some of his fears of her knowing once she shifts that he is her mate.

Me: Hey man. I talked to Kat after you headed home for dinner.

Me: Yes, I actually asked her why she was not excited about finding her mate. Though I think that we can overcome her fears easily together. She is worried that she will not be good enough to handle the responsibilities of what comes with finding a mate. Including the position that might come along with it exc. At least it is just her over thinking things as usual and not anything more. Just be prepared for her to bolt until she can face the facts brother. LOL.

Dev: How can she be worried about that? She is literally the most beautiful woman inside and out that I've ever met. I don't think that there is anything that she couldn't do in life.

Me: Good answer brother. I didn't want to have to kill my best friend after all. Life would be boring without you man. LOL.

Dev: LMFAO. Thank you brother. I appreciate breathing. See you tonight then? I hope that she won't hate me afterwards for not telling her right away.

Me: I will definitely see you tonight and I guess we will have to wait and see how it all plays out then. Should we take a bet brother?

Dev: LOL. No man. I don't want to tempt fate. Oh and my Father approved saturday night's plans. Also, Mom knew the moment I walked in the door. I will explain it all later.

Me: That's great! Though I didn't think that he'd turn down his Princess's birthday wish though either. LOL. Though Mom just knocked on my door. Ttul.

Dev: LOL! True. Later man!

Well I think that went well and hopefully she doesn't run off tonight. Fingers crossed though I could almost bet that she will bolt.
