He's crazy!

The next day… Julian's pov I had an important meeting with one of our authors to discuss her illustration. Tris kissed my cheek and wrapped his small arms around my neck. “Mommy” “Take me to the amusement park.” My lips pecked his forehead and I lifted him in my arms. “Amusement park?” He nodded his head with a smile. “Then how about Sunday?” “Yay!” He was way too excited. My feet stepped out of the room carrying Tris in my arms only to see him standing next to the couch. “Oh! Tenant!” Tris waved at him. Kyren smiled and walked over to us. “Hey, champ!” His deep voice muttered. “Mommy…why is he so handsome?” I started coughing. “Keep quiet, Tris.” My timid voice whispered. All of a sudden, Kyren took Tris from my hold and kissed his cheek. Seeing them together my heart clenched with a strange emotion that I had never felt before. “Your red hair is pretty,” Tris mumbled in his cute voice. Kyren chuckled. “Is that so?” Tris focused his gaze on Kyren's face and started observing every feature of his. “Mommy” “Our eyes have the same colors, right?” A wide smile flashed on his small mouth. Fear crawled over my skin. Even though Tris resembled my appearance, his hazel eyes were the only thing he inherited from Kyren. I immediately pulled back Tris From Kyren's hold and lowered my gaze to the shining floor. “You shouldn't say such things.” “Why? Our eyes are similar.” Tris rolled his lower lip, making a sad face. His long fingers reached Tris' hair and he bent to his height. He didn't seem to be bothered by it. “Of course, we have similar eyes.” He whispered. Tris smiled and clapped. “Where are you going?” He asked, shifting his gaze to me. “I have an important meeting with a client.” My eyes looked up at him. “Mommy will take me to the amusement park this Sunday. Would you come with us, Mr. Tenant?” Tris uttered the words with utmost respect. “No, he can't come!” My soul panicked. “Why, Mommy?” His innocent eyes turned doleful again. “Mr.Tenant is very busy!” “When did I say that?” He interrupted. My eyes glared at him. Let's just say my memories with the amusement park weren't a happy one. It was the same place where Kyren rejected my feelings and the last place we met each other four years ago. “We're going together, little one.” Words came out of his mouth. Rage ramped up inside me. I put down Tris on the floor, grabbed Kyren's wrist, and dragged him to a corner. “You’re not coming with us, brother.” “Why not?” His brow twitched. “I want to spend time with Tris…alone.” His face moved closer to mine and adrenaline rushed down my stream. “Are you refusing because of what happened four years ago?” He said in a playful tone as if he was teasing me. “What? No!” “Then I am coming with you.” He smirked. “Mommy” “Let him come, please.” Tris requested with his puppy eyes. “See? Tris wants me to come.” He crossed his arms on his chest and mumbled with arrogance. “Fine!” I couldn't argue anymore. Tris started jumping like a monkey on the floor with excitement. He really liked Kyren, his daddy. The truth will never come out. My feet turned around, and I was about to leave, yet he interrupted again. “Call me if you're going to be late.” “Don't worry about my security.” My fingers cupped the doorknob but before they could unlock it, his palm rested on the door and startled my eyes. His chest pressed against my back. “Call me if you’re going to be late…otherwise, I am going to end up in your office and make a huge fuss about my sister going missing without a word.” “Are you crazy?” “Maybe!” He whispered. I opened the door in a hurry and gushed out of his strong presence. Day by day he was becoming bolder. Something was different about him. *** Later in the evening… Kyren's pov I was waiting for Julian's call at a nearby cafe and working on my laptop. There were three men next to my table, making too much noise for some girl. My ears could hear them perfectly. “She's a b*tch!” “I should have just f*cked her.” “If only that night her boss hadn't interrupted us…that ba*tard Rhett Green!” My eyes widened. “Who told you to go for a single mom?” His friend scoffed. I closed my laptop and focused my attention on their conversation. “She's beautiful but all she worries about is her son, Tris.” His name rolled down his vulgar tongue. “Are they talking about my little one?” “Ethan” “Find some other girl.” “No, I will make Julian spread her legs for me and record everything on my camera to blackmail her later.” My fingers clutched his hair and yanked his head back with force. He screamed in pain and everyone in the cafe was shocked. “Who the f*ck are you?” His two friends tried to pull me away, but I couldn't even move my toe. “Who are you?” Ethan growled. “Julian's brother!” My lips answered. Fear shrouded his eyes and his two friends ran away from the cafe, leaving him behind. “But she only has one brother, Noah.” I freed his hair, removed my watch from my wrist, and rolled up my sleeves. “Wh-at are you plan-ning?” He was shaking. My hand grabbed his neck whereas my free hand broke the fingers of his left hand within seconds. His painful scream shook the cafe. One of the waiters immediately called the cops whereas the rest were silent. “How dare a motherf*cker talk about my little one like that?” I dragged him down on the floor from his chair and started punching his face…till his filthy mouth started bleeding. His one tooth came out of his bloody mouth and either of his eyes turned blue. All of a sudden… The cops arrived at the cafe, grabbed my arms, and pulled me away from him. “Take him out, he's crazy!” Ethan pleaded with the cops in fear. “Take him out.” The corner of my mouth curved. “If I see you again, I will kill you.” My words threatened him bluntly.
