Chapter 15 awaken

  David's P.O.V 

  The next few days were filled with nothing but training, resting and then more training, on the third day dad announced to everyone that they didn't have to do any training, to just relax and be with their loved ones. Mom and dad sat in the living room watching a movie, the Croods and I was with Trish, talking to her softly. 

  "Trish baby please wake up, many people here miss seeing your bright smile. They love you Trish, I miss your smile, your laughter, I miss the way you playfully roll your eyes at me. Come back to me, love, please." I whispered to her, holding her hand.

  Trish's P.O.V 

  I could hear David talking to me, but I couldn't reply and it seemed like I was in some sort of dream state. I was dreaming that I was standing in a beautiful garden, when suddenly there was a woman sitting on a bench in the flower garden. I walked towards her, just as the woman turned and looked at me.

  "Well hello child, I was wondering when you were going to find a way here." The woman said, smiling and making me feel confused. 

  "Where am I?" I asked, looking at my surroundings and then back to the woman.

  "Well you are here in my garden, I've been waiting for you for sometime now. You are a lycan now, but you need to find your way back, there's going to be a war soon. Greg is going to capture you and you need to be strong, you're going to go through a rough time, but you're going to come out stronger and tougher. Your body will transform into something beautiful and you will have several powers, but to use them you must reach deep inside of you. The first power is the gift of truth, you will be able to make someone tell the truth right away. The second power is being able to read minds, but you will be able to block it out. The third power is the gift of strength, it's a controllable power once you've mastered it." The woman said, I nodded. 

  "When will I get these powers?" I asked her, stunned by what she had just told me.

  "You will get them at your darkest time, it starts when the attack happens and when you're captured. Remember you have to reach deep down, now you need to get back child, everyone is waiting for you." The woman said, smiling and standing up.

  "Will I remember any of this?" I asked her, but she just smiled calmly at me.

  "You will, but only when you're in the deepest need, now get back your ready." The woman replied, I nodded, then took off towards the huge light. I started to hear David's voice and felt him kissing my hand, I took a deep breath, then slightly moved my hand.

  David's P.O.V 

  She moved her hand again and this time I didn't just feel it I saw it, I looked up, watching her closely. 

  "Mom, dad, Gary, I think Trish is waking up, get in here." I mind-linked them and they all hurried into the room after a few seconds.

   "Trish if you can hear me baby, move your hand again." I said and this time she moved her right hand from mine, but I picked it up, placing it back in my hand again.

  "Come on baby, open your beautiful eyes." I said, she tried to open them and her eyes started to flutter, then she blinked a few times and slowly opened them. My mom hurried to close the curtains, so it wouldn't be so bright in the room.

  Trish's P.O.V 

  I opened my eyes and it was amazing, it was like I could see the tiniest speck of dust on the desk. David gently helped me sit up, in a way I felt weak from lying here, but in a way I also felt strong, like a part of me had been awakened.

  "How are you feeling?" David asked me, worry spread across his face. I looked around the room slowly, until my eyes landed on a female she hadn't seen before.

  "I'm feeling alright, but who is this?" I asked, not taking my eyes off the female, they all turned to look at the woman and Gary smiled brightly.

  "This is my mate, the moon goddess granted me a second chance mate." Gary said, puffing his chest out with pride.

  "Well are you going to tell me her name, brother or am I supposed to call her mate?" I asked and they all laughed at my statement. 

  "Her name is Rachel." Gary replied, laughing.

  "Hi Rachel, I'm sure you were told this already but welcome to the family." I said, smiling at her. 

  "Thank you." Rachel said, giggling, I turned my gaze to David.

  "David, are you just going to keep staring at me or help me get out of the bed." I asked him, he hurried over, helping me get up. My legs were a little wobbly, but with the help of David I was able to walk. 

  "So how long was I out?" I asked, leaning on David for support.

  "You were only out for a few days." David answered, I nodded. 

  "And what have I missed out on?" I asked, David opened his mouth to speak, but Gary answered this time.

  "Oh nothing much, the Alpha King and Queen will be here next week, Seth and Skyler will be here with their pack, so we're going to have a full castle soon." Gary said, catching me up. Trish eyes went wide, 

  "Wow, we're going to have a lot of wolves and bears here real soon, when? Has anyone been training? I need to get my strength back, so tomorrow I'll join everyone and start to train." I said, my eyes going wide, David cleared his throat and I looked at my mate. 

  "And don't tell me no, I need to do this, this is my family too." I said, before he could object.

  "I'm not saying anything, I have come to realize that I can't say no to you, because you will just show me different." David chuckled, holding his hands up in surrender, everyone laughed and just then Gary's eyes glazed over and he just stood there. We all knew that look, he was getting a mind link.

  Gary's P.O.V 

  "Gary man, where have you been, I haven't heard from you, you still want to do this with us?" Greg mind-linked me.

  "Yeah man, I'm just with some fellow rogues, I've been busy. Hell yeah I'm still joining you on this, no doubt about it." I replied.

  "Alright man, just keep me informed on where you're at, so I can count on you dude." Greg said.

  "No problem man will do." I replied and cut the link off, my eyes returning to normal.

  "That was Greg, he was wanting to know where I was and to keep him informed so he could call on me when it's time. I told him I was with some fellow rogues, I'm going to need to go there tomorrow. I don't want to, but to keep the charade up, I have to." I said and they all nodded, except for Rachel who squeezed my hand.

  Greg's P.O.V

  It's been awhile since I heard from Gary, after he took that b***h, I didn't hear from him. What the hell is going on? I mind-linked him and he told him he was with some fellow rogues. I shook my head after the link was cut, something was wrong and I could feel it, just then my toy for the week walked into my room. She was scared and didn't want to be here with me, but I was forcing her, if she didn't her family would die. 

  "Come here." I ordered. She shakily walked over to me and I snatched her up, pinning her up against the wall and turning her so she would be facing the wall. I tore her skirt off and had my way with her, all the time she was crying and begging me to stop, but that just made me do it even more. When I was done, I threw her to the floor. 

  "Get up b***h, go wash yourself off, and yet your ass back in here." I ordered her and she left my room.

  The woman's P.O.V

  I left his room and ran straight out of the house, I didn't know where I was going, but I didn't want to stay there. I would rather live my life as a rogue, than to ever be with that man again. I ran for so long and so far, that I didn't know where I was going or where I was at. After a while I stopped and saw that I was by a lake, I needed to wash him off of me and so I dived into the lake. When my head came above the water, I heard tree branches break. 

  "Oh no, he already found me." I thought to myself, but it wasn't him, it was a woman. Who is this she-wolf? Suddenly there was a bear beside her, I had heard stories about this and got out of the lake and quickly got dressed. I dropped down to my knees, submitting to them and the woman walked up to me.

  "Child, what is your name?" The woman asked me, she looked down and saw blood dripping down me. Her eyes went wide as she gasped and then she looked at the bear. 

  Skyler's P.O.V

  "Oh my god, Seth she needs our help." I said, mind-linking him and he nodded his head as we both looked back to the young woman.

  "What's your name?" I asked her again.

  "My....My.... My....Name is Mandy, I ran from the Red Devil's pack and I never want to go back there again. Please don't make me." Mandy said, stuttering, while tears poured out of her eyes.

  "You never have to go back baby girl, you will be safe now." I softly said to her, she nodded just as she passed out. She had lost too much blood and was exhausted, I quickly hauled her onto Seth's back and we took off running with her to the pack doctors.
