Dealing Justice

1116 Words
I took Denny's arm to escort him out. I knew how to deal with him. It was Mina that I didn't expect to charge me. Attacking a ranked member of the court was a big no-no. Not that her attack would have done anything to me. "Ahhhhhhh," Mina screamed as she tipped her chair to charge me. I turned in time to see Mina get side-swiped by another. The young Calvo girl Adele had swept her to the ground. There she slapped Mina hard across her face. "Is he your mate?" She snarled down at the surprised Mina. "N-no." The tears still spilling out of the adolescent blonde. "Then don't challenge a ranked member of the royal line!" Adele glanced up at me with a worried gaze. "I am sorry for her outburst." I could see she meant it too. Realization hit Mina hard as she burst into tears. "It is understood." I nodded to Adele. "Mina I would suggest you think about who just saved your life. Know that Leon finishes dealing with you." I pulled Denny with me. "What are you going to do to me?" I heard Denny gulp as we stepped outside of the room. I said nothing. Mortou followed next to me on Denny's other side. Our silence was what I knew would bug him the most. Down the hall. I needed Jewel's input on this. I knew what I would do but I wasn't sure if it was my autism that was being cold or if it was something else. I stepped through the side door that lead to the chambers near the throne room. There is where Jewel and I would discuss matters privately. I entered the wooden office with Denny and Mortou. I clicked the little buzzer that was also near Jewel in the throne room so she knew I had something I needed to chat with. While we waited, I remained silent watching the door to the other room. Mortou also remained silent. "Why are we here?" Denny looked between us. "What is going to happen to me?" Again I think he was hopeful one of us would say something. "Why aren't you guys answering!?" He was working himself up into a tizzy. The panic coming from him is palliative. He began to ramble when the other door opened. My sister and Tau walked in. Tau nodded to us from behind her as she let her eyes land on the wolf who was freaking out. "Shut up." I heard Akasa announce. Denny's mouth snapped shut and silence once again walked the room. I looked at her, he has been sleeping with Mina Lobos. She is not yet 18 but also allowing or turning a blind eye to the bullying of Adele Calvo. My sister said nothing for a long moment. I could tell she was deciding in her head. "Do you make it a habit of sleeping with your students?" I watched her eyes look at the shivering wolf next to me. "I, I never have your Majesty." Denny's whole body shook. "Evidence suggests you and Mina Lobos have been." My sister raised her eyebrows as if to be surprised he would say that. "I, I am sorry that was said wrong. My thoughts are a bit scrambled at the moment." Denny paused closing his green eyes moment. Taking a few deep breaths he opened them again. "Mina is my first like that." He glanced at me then back to My sister Jewel. "I was taken by her confidence and charm. I have not met my mate nor do I think I ever will. I had some tingling sensations with Mina which I thought perhaps was the mate bond but as she is not 18 for several more months I am not sure." Denny lowered his head in defeat. What are your thoughts? My sister asked in our link. Mina did charge me when I was about to take him away. I honestly didn't care. I could just kill him and be done with it. Why don't we check if the mate bond is there? It was Mortou who threw in his two cents. How can that be done? My sister asked. Jakarta did the spell when the rogue went to grab Athena. Mortou winked at me. Ask her to come here. My sister looked at me. She then took a seat in the chair behind the old oak desk. Of course. I nodded and then entered Jakarta's mind. Angel can you come to the side office, please. We need to do a mate bond spell. We will be right there my wolf. Jakarta answered. I could hear the smile in her voice that made me smile in return. Mortou left to grab Mina Lobos. I stood waiting for the others to arrive when Jakarta's smell hit me without the door opening. I turned to see Athens disappearing again. Jakarta smiled As she kissed my cheek. "I am here wolf." she purred in my ear. Goddess this woman could tear my thoughts to naughty things faster than I could do it myself. "Where Mina goes I go!" A woman's raised voice announced just outside the door. "So be it." We heard Mortou grunt. He opened the door flinging Mina and the older Lobos woman I had seen earlier. The elder Lobos woman turned seeing Denny next to me she spoke, "why is he even still alive! That pack wolf defiled my granddaughter." She spoke with a growl. "I doubt it was like that," I grunted, not helping the words fall out of my mouth. It happened sometimes. I had gotten better for the most part. My sister giggled, as did Jakarta. "Jakarta if you would see if they are bonded?" My sister Jewel's words laced with humor from my outburst. Jakarta stepped forward. She quietly spoke in a different language. A thread from Denny began to materialize as it grew longer whipping back and forth. Suddenly it stopped moving jerked toward Mina and slammed into her. The cord was strong and thick. "They are mates." Jakarta's words confirm what we guessed. "Well, he doesn't die. Instead, I would suggest you get ready to welcome him into the Lobos family." My sister stood, winking at me she stepped past Tau who nodded going back into the throne room. "I will not have Mina mated to a warrior class pack wolf!" The elder Lobos woman screeched. "You will or I kill them both." I looked at her letting Tys flash his dominance. "Yes, of course, your majesty." The womAn cowed dropping her head. "You will also not plot to kill him or replace him." I added as an afterthought.
