Beryl's POV Someone was knocking on my door and I felt my heart pulsate. The wicked really runneth when no one pursueth! I wondered where I heard that from though, but it really rhymed with my situation at the moment. I walked up to the door and tried to peep through the hole but, unfortunately, there was no hole in my door. I made a mental note to call for a sophisticated one layer on, so I could use it to view those that are outside from inside my room. “Who's there?” I asked when the knock came again, but soon realized that I wasn't going to be heard by the person outside the door.
