Beryl's POV
Today, I saw a different side to Alpha Aiden. He was the most loving host ever, making sure all the guests were good and comfortable. He served all the guests like he wasn't the host and I felt angered at the loving glances my mom and dad threw his way.
The guards and maids were as surprised as I was because they had never seen their Alpha in such an active mood. If he was pretending to impress the guests or my parents, I didn't know, all I knew is that whatever he was doing was working on the guests and elders because they seemed really impressed and convinced that he was a good person.
“What's with Alpha Aiden today?” Athena whispered to me and I shrugged.
“I'm as surprised as you are.” I whispered back and we both laughed.
