Chapter Twenty-Nine

1139 Words

Louis stepped closer to me and I backed up a step.  Bumping against the counter as he stepped closer bringing an arm to either side of me pinning me against the counter.  I looked at him through lowered lashes, my heart beating quicker. “I didn’t ask you how your night went,” he said.  Leaning closer to me and I felt like I would swoon as he brought his hand up to trail his fingertips along the marks that Marcus had left along my neck. “It, um it was a very enjoyable experience.”  I stammered out as a shiver ran up my spine. “Is there still room for me?”  he asked, bringing his face closer to mine.  I could feel the heat of his body through my clothing as I looked up into his violet eyes.  His long pale lashes catching the fading sunlight. Louis looked like something out of a fairytale.
