I looked down at my phone as Marcus stood at my stove cooking us breakfast.  Louis had texted me and I couldn’t help but be excited that he wanted to come over for dinner tonight.  I bit my lower lip as I sat my phone down and went to the fridge, pulling the chicken to thaw.   I could feel Marcus’ eyes on me and glanced over to him. Would he think it was strange that I was excited about spending time with Louis? “Are you excited about tonight?”  He asked the skin around his eyes crinkled as he smiled at me. “I am, is it strange that I am?” “No, I would be worried if you weren’t.  I want you to want Louis, it wouldn’t be fair to him if you didn’t.”  Marcus said, and I let out a breath that I hadn’t realized I had been holding.
