Third Person POV "Ma'am, I have found her." "Great, well done. Send me the address and what you found about her." She said delighted that her detective has been able to locate the young lady with the little information she gave him. "Sure I will send them right away." She nodded, knowing very well he can't see her. She ended the call with a smirk on her face, her plans playing perfectly well in her head, ready to be put into action. Her phone binged alerting her of a receipt of a message. She wasted no time in opening it. She was impressed with what she saw.  What made her overjoyed was the fact that her supposed rival is not as smart and educated as her, making her believe that the young lady is lying. Because the Pharrell she married will never have anything to do with an illiterate. "Oh an orphan too, that's interesting."  She glanced through the background information she has been given one last time before she placed her phone onto her bedside table. Liana's POV The bell rang making me question who will be at the door. Velma has gone out earlier today, Louisa has gone to the supermarket and I wasn't expecting any visitors. The bell rang a second time, forcing me to trudge downstairs to see who it was. I was confused but nothing prepared me for what or who I saw at our doorstep.  I stepped aside to give her access to enter. But there were no words spoken.  I lead her to the living room where I offered her a seat. "Can I get you anything?" She nodded in the negative. Her face held no emotion hence I couldn't read her mood or get a Headstart to why she was here. I took a seat opposite hers waiting for her to speak. To which she spoke after a whole five minutes of being silent. "I know you are wondering why I am here. I am here for many reasons but cutting your head off isn't one of them so relax and quit acting like I have held a gun against your head."  She blurted  "So why are you here if you don't mind me asking?" "Umm. First and foremost, I will like to apologize for my behavior the other time. I know I was not kind to you but who would when an unknown woman comes out of nowhere and accuse her husband of getting her pregnant. I hope you understand." I nodded yet I didn't understand it. I didn't know he was married. For Jeez's sake, I initially thought she was his sister. "So why are you here? If you are not here to rain more insult on me why are you here then?" "I would like to discuss something that will be of interest to you. You said the bas...baby you are carrying is for my husband right?" "Yes it is." "Okay good, I will love to invite you for breakfast tomorrow at my house. The reason being that I would want my husband to be around when we make this discussion." She stated and I didn't fail to notice how she didn't use Pharrell's name but rather used husband sarcastically. "He might be your husband but I am the love of his life. I a carrying his child." I mentally said.  I really wanted to hear what she wanted to discuss but in order not to look eager, I accepted the invitation knowing very well I wouldn't be able to sleep. "Okay, I will be there at 8:00 am tomorrow," I said, my face devoid of any emotion. I was excited within but I didn't let it show. "Great, I should get going. I am a busy woman who works and doesn't seduce other women's husbands."  She said bluntly, intending to hurt me with her words.  I escorted her to the door but just when she was about to step out, we were met by Velma, who looked from me to the woman. She was using her eyes to question me about what she is doing here. I know she already knows her since she and Pharrell are sworn enemies. The look Velma was giving her was enough to tell her that I have people protecting me if she tries anything stupid.  "Hey Carmine, my house was the last place I expected to see you." She didn't speak but just scoffed and forced her way past Velma. When I returned to the house, Velma was impatiently waiting for me with her hands on her hips and in deep thought. "What does she want. Why was she here?" "Ermm, she said she has something to discuss with me and has invited me to have breakfast with them tomorrow at their house." I truthfully answered, finding no need to lie to Velma. She knows everything and wouldn't appreciate it if I lied. "You are not going anywhere!" She sternly voiced out then picked up her bag from the sofa and started walking towards the stairs. "But this can be the chance to speak with Pharrell and make him remember our love. I am sure that woman is holding him against his will. I know he wants to be with me. He told me so." "Yeah he told you, yet he is the one denying you now. You are not going anywhere. I dare you to move an inch out of this house tomorrow and that would be it.. You wouldn't be stepping your feet here ever again!"  She said with finality. This was the first time she has ever spoken to me with authority and anger. She looked furious with her red eyes being the evidence. How am I going to convince her in this state she is in?. "Vel......." "Look Liana what I said is final. I am very tired. I am going to rest. I will appreciate it if you don't bother me." "Louisa! Louisa! please bring me some water." "She is not home yet. I will get you the water." I offered but she ignored me and walked into the kitchen to get the bottle of water herself. Velma's POV What is wrong with Liana? Is she really that blinded by her love for the fool that's she can't reason and see what's going on around her? She is pleading to see him and discuss whatever stupid thing it is after all that he did to her? No I will never allow that. I will never allow her dine with those demons. Come on, they can even poison her. I was tired but I couldn't sleep. I kept turning on my bed, with my mind filled with the thoughts of Liana and how to make her see life for what it truly is. She seems so naive and trusting. That woman came to extend an invitation to her and she didn't think twice before she accepted it. This is ridiculous or is he using voodoo on her? Her behavior is beyond my understanding and if this is how foolish love is then I don't want to ever fall in love. I don't want to be crazy because of it. I heard the door to be room open "Louisa?" "No, its me." The voice was faint more like a whisper. "If you are here to talk about Pharrell I am not interested. I don't want to hear it." "But it's important that we talk about it. I know you will be thinking that I am stupid but I am not. I am doing all this for my baby. I want him to have his daddy around. I want him to have a nice family where his mother and father are together, not separated." "But Liana he is married!" "I know but what if this thing they want to talk about will help me get closer to him so I win him back. You won't understand but I need this. I need this to work. I need the support from him." "Hmm you won't listen will you? Okay, you can go but on condition I come along." She was taken aback for a moment. "Okay if it means you will let me go. But please promise you wouldn't get into a fight with both of them." "That I can't promise you but I will try." "You are the best." She smiled and hugged me before leaving my room.
