Apollo

“I have somewhere I need to be.” Athena mumbles and disappears from view.

My mate, she’s here! We stare at each other for eternity before I rush over to her.

“Where have you been? I’ve been searching the entire pack house for you.” I pull her into a desperate hug, terrified that if I let her go she will disappear.

Her body stiffens in my embrace. “I’ve been right here.” Her voice is void of any emotion.

“I’m so sorry that I ran off. Will you give me a chance to explain?” I pull her back down to the lounge with me and grip her hands in mine.

Violet sighs. “Sure.” Except she sounds the opposite of sure.

I run a hand through my hair. “Everything happened so fast between us and I freaked out. I don’t want you to think that I regret marking and mating with you because I’ve been waiting for you for so long. The last thing I expected today was to find you, especially after the invasion earlier. I only recently became Beta so I’m under a lot of stress and pressure. It’s no excuse for my actions but maybe you’ll understand why. My mind is all over the place but my wolf Levi is already feeling more at ease just being near you.”

“Levi is … happy … about me?” She asks tentatively and I nod enthusiastically. “Can I … meet him?”

Levi immediately pushes for control and takes over my body. I allow him to have his time with our mate.

“Violet.” He whispers before placing my hands on her rosy cheeks and kissing her mouth softly.

Unexpectedly, she grips my shirt and pulls me closer. Our embrace quickly turns heated and Levi pulls Violet onto my lap so that she’s straddling me. He slides my hands down her pants and palms her ass cheeks. I think to myself how thin she is. Those rogues mustn’t have fed her much while she was captured.

“Take her back to my room. Don’t disrespect our Luna’s living space.” I instruct Levi.

He does as I request and picks up Violet, moving swiftly out of the room. She wraps her legs around my waist and kisses my neck sensually.

Levi deposits her softly onto my bed before he drops to my knees. Pulling down her tights, I realise she’s not wearing any underwear.

“Let me taste her then you can have her back.” Levi says to me before he places kisses from her knee up to her core.

“Oh.” Violet whimpers and her upper body falls to the bed.

Levi uses my tongue expertly sucking and nipping at her clit causing Violet to contract her muscles tightly every time. He teases her entrance with my finger then slips it inside. Violet grips the bed sheets tightly and her back arches with pleasure.

“Apollo, please come back.” She whimpers softly and Levi looks up to see her staring down at us.

Levi releases control, allowing me to come forward. I immediately move closer to her face, cupping her cheeks gently and stroking them with my thumbs.

“Are you okay?” I ask, worried that I did something wrong.

“Would it be okay if … um … could you make love to me?”

I blow out a relieved breath. “Yeah baby, I think I can do that.”

I settle myself between her legs and slowly push myself inside of her. My entire body ripples with pleasure from being inside my mate once more.

“Oh.” She moans softly.

I’ll take things slow this time. I’ll make love to her all night if it proves to her how sorry I am. After all, I need my mate. I need her to feel how much I love her.
