Falling for a Lycan

The First day of School

I woke up hearing the loud sound of my alarm clock, I rubbed my eyes and just comfortably turned on the other side. I do not have to rush myself to prepare as I do not need to go to school today. I just looked through my phone, scrolling and looking what could I do for today. We are leaving in some hours and I just have to fix the other things in my room before we go. I stood up and went out from the room, I could smell the last aroma of breakfast roaming around in this house, mom was cooking and dad was already sitting by the dining table while reading a newspaper. 

I sat on the chair, and just stare on them. No one is speaking but I can see that dad was peeking on me while covering his face with the newspaper. 

"Dad, just spill it." I said to him and he slowly put down the newspaper. 

"Are you sure you can do well in that school? You know that we are not spending little dime here." dad said to me and I chuckles. 

"Of course, dad. It is your son you are talking to." I confidently answered to him and he nodded. 

"Right, of course you have to." he mumbled and I let out a deep sigh. I stood up and decided that I should just go out instead of staying inside this house. 

I went upstairs and stopped halfway when he called me and I looked back on him. 

"Aki, you are living in a boarding house there. Do not put us down." he seriously said to me and I just nodded. 

Boarding house means I have to make myself  known to everyone, did I already say that my parents were working in the government and when I say government, my dad is running for city representative and my mother was promoted to be the chief prosecutor. That is the main reason why the whole family is leaving this town, they had much better opportunity out there, the biggest reason compared to my own choice of being with my friends. 

I started walking around the neighborhood, I went to the place where we always go, the three of us. The place where we stare on the city lights downtown, the place where we always eat our lunch and the school where we started since we were young- this whole place is my life, the reason why I am still living happily. 

"Aki!" I looked back and I saw Lily holding plastic for the things she bought from the mart. 

"Lily, you are early." I said to her and she nodded. 

"Preparing my things." she answered and I was confused hearing that. 

"Why? Are you going somewhere?" I asked to her and she scoffed. 

"Your father did not say anything?" she said and I just shook my head. 

"Yuki and I were coming with you, in that elite school." she said and those words find it hard for me to sink everything in. 

"What?!" I yelled and she quickly covers my mouth. 

"Do you want to wake everyone up?" she exclaimed to me and I removed her hand. 

"But, how in the world did that happened?" I asked to her. 

"I have no idea but maybe your father and my father teamed up for that election." she answered and I nodded, so that is the main reason why. 

"What about Yuki?" I asked and she burst out laughing. 

"Are you seriously worried about that spoiled brat?" she exclaimed and right, that guy is the son of a businessman and he could do everything he wanted, he is really the real spoiled brat here. 

"But why are you not saying anything to me?" I asked in wonder and she patted my shoulder. 

"That is what you call a surprise, late birthday party." she whispered to me and left me in shocked. 

I stare on her walking away as she waved her hand as she leave. If that would be the case, then I could say that I am happy now. I huge smile went on my face and I leaped on my home, I entered the house with a huge smile and I saw dad sitting on the couch and looking on me. 

"Are you that happy?" he asked to me and I nodded. 

"Honey, why did you not tell Aki that Yuki and Lily would come with him?" mom asked to dad, and he only just scoffed. 

"That guy is too dependent to his friends, I do not know when he could stand on his own." dad said and I know that he is only joking so I chuckles. 

"Dad, you are the best." I plainly said to him and went upstairs. 

I am now packing my things, and I am much excited than before. I cannot wait to enter that new school with my friends, I want to see how is that different with the school I have been from. 

After hours of packing, I went down with my bag and I could see men coming and in out from the house, they were the moving company. They are now moving the boxes in the truck and we just have to go out and leave ahead from them. I get in the car and waited for them, mom get in the passenger's seat and dad get in the car. He started driving after some time. In the middle of the day, we arrived at the house where were are staying from now on, mom only get off as dad planned to take me directly to the boarding house where I would be staying. 

I arrived at the boarding house, dad said that my things would arrive in a bit so I just need to drop by the faculty room first to declare my attendance. I wanted to wait for Yuki and Lily but dad said that he already called the administration, so I got no choice but to go as soon as I get off and saw the car drives away. 

Now I know why they called this an elite university, it really looks different from my previous school. There are trees, huge buildings, huge green lawn and even a huge ground for all students to stay out and relax. The air is also different, it oozes wealth and evil at the same time. Yes, evil because the first thing I saw when I entered the school was a group of students bullying someone weak compared to them. Usually, I would run towards the bullied guy and beat these youngster until pulp, but I am a new student, I cannot make a scene in the first minutes I entered. I just looked on how they bullied the guy and finally looked on the leader, who is also looking on me. Our gazes cannot cut on its own so I am the one who got the urge to look away and continued walking. 

I reached the faculty room, talked to my homeroom teacher and told me that I could enter the class after lunch. She encourages me to have my own little tour around the campus but that was too boring for me. I said that I would just go to my boarding room and check if my things already arrived. I walked back towards the boarding house and I got the key from the woman at the front desk, she said that I will have a roommate and I should be careful from him. I just ignored her strange warning and went upstairs, my room is at the second floor, room 219. I looked on each room number and got myself in the end of the hallway. I put the key in the keyhole and realized that the door is not locked, so I entered and I heard the loud sound of the water running in the bathroom, a sign that there is someone inside and showering right now. 

I saw that my things were also here, so I went towards the empty bed and space, as I think that it would be my place. I started putting out my things and fixed them in the drawers and clothes in the closet. 

"So, you are my new roommate?" I heard a deep but somewhat an arrogant tone. 

"Yes, nice to meet you, I am Aki." I said and when I looked on his face, I realized that my life was doomed. 

"Nice to meet you too, I am Nicholas." he introduces himself but I already know him. 

He is the leader of that group who bullied the one student earlier in the corner.
