The party continues and ever wolf in place, invited or not invited, member of the foxes of not, they are all here in this house doing some great party- like no one is dead. It feels like everything is just normal for all of them, they always see dead bodies, of course it is just a plain bloody meat in front of them. I looked on the watch on my wrist and decided to call it for a day, it was too late and I got to wake up early for class tomorrow. I put down the glass I am holding and tried to look on the faces of the people here if I knew them, and I guess I do not. So, I went towards the other parts of the house and tried to look just for one fox member, when I felt like this little mission of mine would not be successful with this thick crowd, I decided to went upstairs.

I see that the rooms were shut and there is no evidence of existence here, so I was about to leave when I heard someone was talking. I slowly and quietly walked in the middle of the hallway, trying to follow the source of that voice. It was the room at the end of the hallway and I guess this is their meeting room, that is what I am seeing right now.

They are all sitting in a circle table, with Nicholas is at the middle or top of the table. How could they have a serious meeting when the lower floor is full of people wasted and making out to every corner of the house? That was just some high skill I cannot have.

"Are you really sure that you will let that human stay?" I heard one member asked him and he looks on that 'human' seriously.

"What do you want to say?" Nicholas asked that person.

"We got an issue with that, are you sure you can trust that human? Our race is not that big compared to the past, we could be killed by those hunters." another member explained and I get their issues and problems with me- which is I directly addressed everything to them or just him.

"Aki is harmless. He will not do anything to harm us." Nicholas answered and I was surprised hearing those words from him. He looks so much of a bad boy to me, but here, his charisma is telling me otherwise.

"But you still cannot be sure." they argued and Nicholas stare on them.

"Are you questioning my decisions here? Me? The leader of this pack? Do you want to go back on being stray dogs?" he howls and everyone became timid and down.

"But that does not mean that we cannot challenge you." a strong member answered and the atmosphere became heavy and icy.

I tried walking away but that was a wrong and big mistake as I made a sound, I tried to look normal when they spotted me eavesdropping but I just walked out immediately.

"Aki!" I heard Nicholas is calling mw but I just continued walking out from the house.

"What do you want?" I asked to him while still walking through the road.

"I will explain." he said to me and I chuckles.

"You do not have to, I get your members' points and I would not blame them for being conscious with my existence. I am not like you." I answered.

"Aki, stay. Stay with me." he seriously said to me and I stopped walking and looked back on him.

"What?" I exclaimed to him.

"You need to stay with me." he repeated and walked towards me.

"I am not like everyone else, I cannot be any help with your plans." I said to him and he shook his head.

"That is why I will make you my Beta, you will have power." he said and I remembered that Lynn said to me about that Beta thing.

"That is not possible, your people will complain about it." I answered to him and I tried to walk away from him when he said something that would made me stop.

"Lily's death might not be made by a wolf." he exclaimed and I looked back on him.

"She might be killed my a human, a person who was trying to frame the wolves." he continued and walk back to him.

"You do not know what you are saying." I mumbled.

"That is why you have to stay in the circle, you cannot do this alone." he said and I went silent. I cannot answer anything now, so I just nodded and left him.

I entered the dormitory and I just felt the kick of the alcohols I drank earlier. I suddenly felt sleepy and I just lie on the bed immediately. My mind still works fine but my body is too tired to make any movements, so I stare at the ceiling and tried to think of what should I do next. I just cannot rely everything on Nicholas, if what he is telling me is true then the enemy is just near than I could ever expected. Should I stay with them? Will I ever be seen or just find my worth in there? Or should I just investigate on my own? But how, how would I do that if my parents or even Yuki is not helping me at all.

That is right, I have not yet seen Yuki again. I only know that he is in good hands but where is he? He would not just leave or hide from these things, it will only look like that he is guilty of what happen- which is not, it should not be. What should I do now? I really hate myself for being indecisive and weak, I got nothing to offer- that is why they are doubting my position in there.

I heard the door opens and I think it is just Nicholas so I did not say anything and continued to be silent.

"You do not have to decide now, or even give me an answer." I am right, he just enters and wanted to talk about this again.

"Actually, I wanted to be the Alpha, it is not for them but for myself." he started again and I was just listening.

"So, if you will not agree on my terms just remember that I could still get your life back in hell." he said and I scoffed. It is too funny, for him to say those words easily.

"I am already in hell. What more fire should I enter just to see me being in hell?" I asked to him and he did not answer.

"You are the leader in here, I am just a transferee, I definitely know that you could do that to me." I continued.

"That is why you have no choice but to follow my words, and I am the leader here. You already joined the pack, there is no going back." he answered and I get up to look on him.

"You are the real Nicholas." I said to him and smirked.

"What do you mean?" he exclaimed to me and I laughs.

"I keep on wondering how you can said those words to me, you are not good if you want me to be blunt." I answered and he grinned.

"That was a test, you have seen it." he answered and I scoffed in disbelief.

This whole time, someone was pretending to be him. All those kinds words, persuading me to go back to the circle and even joining it in the first place- that is not Nicholas. That is not definitely the person who bullies people around, ordering them like they were just some line of servants and even throwing them away when they do not have any worth.

"What did you talked about with Caleb?" I asked to him and he was a bit surprised by recovered quickly.

"Searching for a scapegoat." he plainly answered.

"You wanted someone to admit those crimes? You are framing them!" I exclaimed and he shrugged his shoulders as if he did not care at all.

"They take money in return, so what is so hard admitting a crime?" he answered back to me.

"That is not what Lily wanted." I mumbled and he burst out laughing.

"How in the hell would I know what that lady wanted? She is dead, I do not even know her, it is just Yuki was involved in it and I have to find a solution to end it quickly." he answered and I stared on him.

"What?" he asked to me emotionlessly.

"You are hopeless." I commented and his forehead creases in confusion.

"I will stay." I answered to him nonchalantly.

"You do not have to do that, I do not need help with a mere human." he answered.

"And I do not need to be decided on with a mere dog. I will stay, no matter what you say." I answered and he glared on me.

"Stop snooping around and see the borders between us. We are not the same." he uttered and he was ready to give this argument a head on fight.

"I do not care, I will leave whenever I wanted and you cannot order me around." I firmly said to me.

"Do whatever you want, but do not cling your life on mine." he answered and I smirked.

"So, who was that?" I asked and he looks at me.

"That one who shapeshifted and impersonated you?" I asked and he chuckles.

"That was Vern." he plainly answered and lie down on his bed.

"Tell him that he is too kind to be you." I said and lie down at the same time.

"What do you mean by that?" he yelled on me.

"I mean, you are evil." I said and turned my back from him.

I really cannot stand that guy. I know I might be sounding too plain and boring if I say I hated injustices. But that guy is pure evil, I wonder how long can I live with him in this small space.

"Why are you not sleeping like a dog?" I mumbled to him.

"Shut up or I will turn you into one." he said.

"Right, you can turn a human into a wolf. So, how it feels to know that you are a Lycan?" I asked to him again while still not looking towards him.

"Or, are you born into a wolf first or a human?" I asked again.

"Shut the f*ck up or I will kill you." he expressed and I went silent for some minutes.

"Do you lick bones?" I asked again and I just cannot help but to ask him in curiosity.

"Do you want to see your bones in flesh?" I was surprised when his voice sounds too near to me and when I peeked back, he is standing behind me and his shadow forms into wolf- then, I gulped in shivers.

"I was just joking, sorry." I plainly said and tucked myself under the blanket.

The morning came and I found myself not lying in the room I thought I should be. I looked around and realized that I am back at the fraternity house. I get up with my clueless mind and started walking out from the room, now the wolves are looking at me again, I think that was because of the conversation I heard last night.

But who the hell carried me on the way here? Or did they even carry me, not just rolled on the ground?

"Nick, he is here." I heard someone said and they cleared a way in the center for me to walk.

"I guess you had a great sleep. Your friend is here." Nicholas said and I looked on the person who is sitting on the couch, but facing his back towards me.

"Friend? I do not have any other friend than Yuki and Lily." I answered and he just smirked.

"That was sweet and pathetic at the same time." the person said and I know that voice.

"Yuki?! What are you doing here?!" I yelled and hugged him tight in happiness.

"You sound too sad, is there something wrong?" he asked to me after that tight hug.

"Everything here is just wrong, but are you now alright?" I asked and he nodded while glancing over Nicholas.

"What is the meaning of this?" I asked to him and keep exchanging gazes over the two of them.

"Yuki already been healed, he will also stay in this place." Nicholas said.

"That means your friend survived the transformation." he continued and that took some time for me to realize.

"Did you just became a wolf?!"
