“Howdy girls,” the old man said in his boisterous voice. “Are you excited about that baby brother?” “We sure are,” answered Josie for both. Lisa just puckered her lower lip out. Before he could saunter to the porch though, another car turned onto the dirt road. “It’s them, it’s them,” Josie said, as she began jumping up and down excitedly. The car pulled up nearer the porch than usual. Everyone, except Lisa, ran to the passenger side, opening the door almost before Colin had brought the car to a stop. Even though it was warm, almost 70 degrees, Leah had a thick blanket wrapped around the baby, with the top hanging loosely over his head. The couple smiled proudly as they got out of the car.
